Dear Live Maine Lobster--Mahalo

I saw you draped over the can of diet coke, claws banded, looking at me with the soulful eyes.

You didn't understand what was going to happen, or how you got to San Francisco Fisherman's Wharf, from your home waters in Maine.

You had no clue what that big pot of boiling water meant.

But I did.

My heart went out to you. I gave you Reiki. What a sad, sad thing to do to another creature, to put them out of the water, and on display. You would see the crowds. You would know who chose to have you boiled and bought you for their dinner.

I could never eat another lobster again.

I like crab meat.

It is one of the areas I have resisted in giving way to a plant-based diet for years. I 'ignore' what happens to the crustaceans at the end. I also 'ignore' what happens to the fishermen in Alaska who go after the King Crabs, and how many of them never make it back to their homes because of the dangerous waters..

After you, I saw two crabs on their backs, gasping for breath, suffering...

I thank you for helping me see.

I didn't eat crab the whole trip, although it was crab season and I was in one of the best parts of the world to have it.

Instead I wanted the killing to stop. I saw the insanity of all this suffering that we cause to our brothers and sisters, the animals, who are also alive and breathing and living their own lives...

I am so glad I didn't make any being suffer...everyone is different, and I only speak for myself. For where I am at, it really helps my development as a soul to not 'go there' as best as possible.

Something To Add: Antibiotic Resistance

If you needed to go to Europe, would you take the plane or walk?

Here is another article that is written by a non-medical author who means well from Natural News:

What Natural News author Elizabeth Renter has to say:
  • Antibiotics are overused
  • Massive overuse in farmed animals is also leading to 'super bugs'
  • There's a LOT of MRSA in the community, more so than hospitals
  • 'Strengthen your immune system'
  • Use lavender, manuka honey, and turmeric (http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2013/05/turmeric.html, FYI)

What Reiki Doc has to add:
  • Always remember the 'risk to benefit'. A child who is sick at the preschool might have a 'developing and strong immunity' but the bacterial infecting organism IS going to be a 'Super Bug' because all of the Other Moms have treated THEIR kid with Antibiotics. Remember the pattern of infectious disease in kids is 'normal, normal, normal, and then catastrophic sepsis-respiratory failure'.  I have intubated a three-year old boy who was septic because the parents waited too long. We were in ICU and coding him at the time. He didn't make it. I heard the scream of the mother as she was told in the hallway that her son had passed. I will never forget that scream. As parents, and caretakers, you have a responsibility to keep those under your care safe at all times. No crazy experiments. Even on yourself!
  • Do everything humanly possible to strengthen your AURA first and your immune system will follow--fresh air, clean pure fresh filtered water, positive thoughts, forgiveness and release of hatred, anger and sadness, affirmations a la Louise Hay, organic everything, RAW vegan if possible (remember to supplement Vitamin D, protein, and Vitamin B12. I use RAW meal.)
  • If you opt for lavender, manuka honey, and turmeric, be sure to have an open-minded physician or naturopath following your care at the same time. Have them see you often, and have a time-limit or a set of criteria to stop the natural treatments and go to conventional.
  • If your problem is c. difficuie colitis, ask for a fecal transplant. Let them give it to you down the NG tube. It works and it cheaper than the colonoscopy. It is natural and will cure it right away.
  • The extremes of age (very young and very old) have weakened immune systems.
  • Pray. Pray for guidance. Ask Archangels Raphael (healing) and Nathanial (likes 'big challenges') for their help.
  • Accept. Some people have life contracts that end or include certain health experiences. Support and love in all situations.
  • Remember, organic farmers still kill pests. They just don't use chemicals. They put plastic on a field and let the sun 'cook' all the 'critters that will eat their plants' in the soil. Sometimes you have to 'kill' something that will harm your 'thing you are taking care of'.
  • Colloidal silver has achieved some amazing results in wound care. Look on the internet. Not sure about internal, but silvadene creme was used in burn units for ages to keep wounds from getting infected.

Always be skeptical, just enough, when reading anything from someone who 'hates doctors' or someone who 'is a doctor'. Always look for the balanced, middle road, and in YOUR personal medical situation, keep the 'Risk to Benefit' ratio of each option in mind before you decide. Once you have decided, know that you can always 'change back' if you are monitoring your progress closely and can tell 'it's not working'. It's only when you don't monitor it, and the 'it's not working' is totally obvious that even though you desire to 'change back' the disease process may have progressed past the point where 'changing back' is going to be effective.  In any infection, viral or bacterial, it is a 'race in time' between the host (immune system, medications, aura, energy system, overall health and vitality) and the infecting organism (reproducing and adapting including antibiotic resistance).  There is no guarantee who will 'win'. Ever.

Why I've Eaten Salad For Lunch For Five Years (sad face)

One of the strongest motivators for me to eliminate meat from the diet has been the hospital cafeteria.

I kid you not. It's the meat in the steam trays in the Doctor's Lounge and the quality of burgers on the grill that turned me off from meat long before I ever set foot in a RAW vegan restaurant.

It's the kind of meat that comes in bags that are frozen (chicken) or patties that have little pieces of paper between them. After a while, even the fish got hard to take.

So I ate salad.

Have you eaten salad for lunch for five years?

It gets old.

That's how 'My Project' began. I really enjoyed the food at the RAW vegan restaurant. And the chef at my hospital noticed why I hardly ever eat anything except salad, no matter what he cooks.

I explained to him that the food provided does not meet my lifestyle choices--organic, vegan, no high fructose corn syrup (yes--no more cranberry juice at the hospital for me), no GMO, and for my son, pasture-grass fed free range animal products.

Just between me and you, the aspartame yogurts in the fridge just freak me out...I didn't tell him that though.

I bought him a copy of Cherie Soria and Dan Landman's book--RAW Food For Dummies (it's actually the leading book on the topic) and my friend the owner of the restaurant and I split a one hundred dollar gift certificate for him to go to the restaurant to experience RAW.

He never ate there.

I don't know what he did with the gift certificate.

But he did go visit the restaurant once. It was a surprise that I was there when he came to see my friend. I sat in the booth with them, and then I excused myself to get the other chef from his office.

I asked for the best RAW vegan chef in the world to meet our hospital chef. I knocked on the door. He must have been out of the office.

But I did the most amazing thing, from my heart. I spoke to the door. I don't know if you are in there or not, but through a lot of effort I got our hospital chef here. He needs to meet you. I am tired of eating crap. They have nothing for me to eat at the hospital--when I was an inpatient I thought they were trying to kill me! http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2012/06/hospital-food-is-un-reiki.html. Think of all the doctors and nurses and patients and patient families who could be helped by your expertise. Please, please, help make my dream come true.

He never answered. He wasn't there, how could he?

But Spirit did.

I sat in the booth with the owner and hospital chef trying to get them to connect. It wasn't pretty. I felt the stress. Trying to make a deal (you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours), trying to force a commitment, and trying to protect the kitchen and the secret recipes. Nothing personal, but total Duality mentality on the part of my friends at my Spiritual Home. I got sad. The energies spiraled lower and lower instead of up between the two parties.

It's a shame, really. Because the hospital chef knows how to make a lot of food for a lot of people every day, and my friends at the restaurant could have learned how to 'scale up' from him while he learned 'healthy' from them.

Then came the Bulldog one week later. Introduced to me as a 'friend' of the owner. She was anything but. I know those who are not of Spirit, the ones who 'don't-have-our-best-interest-at-heart'. I felt the familiar energy drain, the my-will-versus-yours, and the carefully hidden agenda-hunger for money.  I know it well. So although the 'job description' was 'manager of the restaurant', I know a heart's dimension when I see it, and this one was even MORE 3D than the owner. This heart was after my freedom, money from the hospital, and a Big Business Deal. But the Brain was in 'Wally World' and completely out of touch with Reality at The Hospital.

So I pulled out my big guns:

  • my doctors LIKE meat
  • the only way this can fly is if we promote 'vegan choices' be made available
  • it's a win-win even without money
  • do you think my doctors are stupid enough that they won't notice an exchange of fake meat for real meat--like ribs and soy substitutes?
  • I told her something in confidence as a test
She failed the test. I called her on it. She 'spun' it as 'being very tactful' and 'selective'. She wanted to know what would move the project forward.

And a voice I never knew I had texted back: Spirit will move the project forward. There is great need.

Guess what?

The very next day I was in the OR with our breast cancer surgical oncologist, director of the breast center, and incoming president of the medical staff. And her vegetarian plastic surgeon. She said she's packed her lunch every day for twelve years because she likes 'clean food'. Then at lunch I asked the midwives what they thought of the project. The vegan one loved it (she eats salad every day too), and the others who did eat meat still enjoy vegan restaurants from time to time, and supported it too.

Our chef had told me to let him know next time I am on OB call and will go to the doctor's dining room. I am the 'guinea pig' and he will try out new recipes, on his own, on me. He gave me a big plate of food that was kind of like 'eggplant tofu'. I wanted bok choy, green, but I got 'lots of protein vegan'. I went to the doctor's lounge. And guess who was there? The vegetarian plastic surgeon.

The plastic surgeon's brother died young with a brain tumor. That's why he changed. He still likes meat. On his plate was the chicken curry and rice. 'I just eat around the meat' he said. But when I shared the new dish, he totally loved it! And chef walked in, and we gave our enthusiastic support.

This is how 5D is. No talk of money. No I'll give you this is you give me that. Just a desire for something to improve for humanity, and making the request from your heart.

Thank you Spirit.

Here's some info on 'eating healthy' from the Mayo Clinic. Note--go organic on the blueberries and wild caught on the salmon--http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/health-foods/MY01108

Here they are on Yelp--I understand they actively promote 'healthy options': http://www.yelp.ca/biz/mayo-clinic-hospital-cafeteria-phoenix-2

when I was at Navy hospital doing peds--our meal tickets went to Mc Donald's downstairs! See how much room there is for improvement? http://www.rwjf.org/en/about-rwjf/newsroom/newsroom-content/2011/12/childrens-hospitals-offer-few-healthy-food-options-study-finds.html

Here's a project initiative along the same lines as me, I didn't know we had: http://ahealthieramerica.org/our-partners/hospitals/

And here's Kaiser's take on the issue--I've eaten there a lot when mom was sick. Again, mostly salads, and not a whole lot of choices except for one froozie fruit/vegetable drink dispenser in the cafeteria. They did have 'food choices' though, for mom: http://www.kaiserhealthnews.org/stories/2013/june/24/better-hospital-food-federal-health-law.aspx

Food IS a medicine. It also is a source of the majority of our illnesses, the chronic long-term ones.
So choose wisely. And  choose well. With your heart center. And a pendulum if you're not sure about it! ; ) http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2012/11/vote-your-pendulum.html

Know that the more cooked, and especially the more fried or microwaved, the less energy of Life and nutrition is left actually IN the food. So no matter what, to keep the energy of the workers and microwaves 'out' and 'LOVE energy' in, be sure to give thanks for, and bless your food every time you eat. Even give Reiki!

Orso

Archangel Gabriel woke me up this morning. 'I have a message for you.'

I asked him very politely if he would mind if I excused myself to the restroom first. He gestured, 'Go!'.

I came back, and he had me arrange the pillows like a 'beach chair' and to put my journal on my lap. But I was super sleepy. He said, 'Rest' and I fell asleep just like that for an extra two hours.

All day long, in the back of my mind, I wondered what He was going to say?

But instead, I arrived to work on time--I had a late start. I anesthetized my patient. I relieved a coworker, although my heart had wanted me to go to where my heart had planned to go (I had extra clothes and everything for lunch--it's a long story). It looked like I'd be there late. So I ate some 'bosses day' chinese noodles in the nurses' lounge before I relieved my colleague to go see her kid recite a project in her first grade class.

You know, OR people are nice. Dusty said, 'Yes, there's enough food, you can eat.' because I didn't pack my lunch, but the nurses and techs had bought for their bosses. The nurses teased the male nurse with the peanut allergy. Everything he went to eat, they'd say, 'There's peanut in it'. We all knew if he 'blew up' we could resuscitate him. But it's just our kind of humor. There were cute cupcakes and cake, but I didn't eat.

There was a one hour delay before my case. I accepted it, and instead of socializing, I set out to walk around the hospital and make some Vitamin D.

As I relaxed, the phone rang--it was another colleague who was finished and offered to relieve me!

So I went, I followed my heart, and sat alone in the loneliest corner of the restaurant because it was so full! I face the front door (good Feng Shui) and I people watched.

I saw many Buddhist monks and nuns--four, two separate parties, and I never have seen any there before. I watched the owner, who has taken a vow of silence, interact with them, Buddhist to Buddhist. And I was overwhelmed with sadness for them--they feel that they have to do some pretty drastic things to get 'enlightenment'--their own connection to Source. My Source allows me to speak to dead people, help souls cross to the Light, help heal many many people including online friends, and connect with like-minded people. I keep my hair. I can touch men and women--Buddhists can't touch women, not the monks--I know in the hospital it is a big deal for patient care. Doctors are the only exception, nurses too. I can laugh, I can talk, I can argue with Source, I can howl in pain from my breaking heart. I can hug trees, talk to fairies and animals...and because I don't like it, I don't eat meat, but I am not 'chained' to it. I felt compassion for those who have to follow what they are taught to find God...

Next, a regular, we'll call her 'Bee', came in, and filled my empty seat at my table. She does colonic therapy. She actually had miraculous healings herself, including a severe cashew allergy. She woke up to a voice that said, 'the allergy is GONE' and what used to make her throat swell, stopped! Rashes, endometriosis, and hypothyroid cleared by listening to her intuition, too. In her own words, 'I am in control of my vehicle'.

Bee is from Arcturus.  She is Arcturian, and 'woke up' about six years ago. But she has a serious case of ADD. You know those 'implants' Cobra talked about? She has one. I could tell. Whenever she would start to get some clarity on her 'Mission' in 5D, it was like someone short-circuited her with a big ZAP and the thinking would get 'switched' to another topic. The poor woman has no idea of these 'implants' but I saw it being used to 'keep her down' spiritually, big time.

That being said, she offered ME a colonic. I declined. She asked why and I shared how I have seen perforated bowel in the O.R, and my gastroenterologists say there's more harm than good. This is because the water is not monitored for pressure in the bowel. Every bowel is different, and a blocked one with a tumor won't fit all that water in! Or the introducer could tear delicate rectum as it is placed by a not-so-careful technician. I also asked about c. difficult and contact isolation precautions to prevent infection transfer from one patient to the next. The equipment was sterile, and something else she 'cleaned' but it was 'because she thought it was good' and not standardized or mandatory. And wiping down the room? No. http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2012/09/hey-healer-cooties-and-you.html

She took it well, and was fascinated and wanted to learn MORE about how to care for the colon. I offered to mention her interest to my most open-minded gastroenterologist, and perhaps they could meet?

Next I met a bulldog named 'Shirley'. Shirley is the wife of an anesthesiologist, a vegan, and interested in the project I have with the cafeteria/chef at my work. She wants us to get vegan catering there, and then get her husband's work 'in on it'. Shirley has been vegan so long she thinks doctors are not smart enough to figure out a 'switch' to soy fake meats in the doctor's dining room. She also believes a petition to the management would 'get them in'. I told her the cold hard facts--doctors like meat, the Chef at work is the only one with pull, and no compensation can be put on the deal yet because it is to serve humanity (hospital staff and patients) by making vegan options available to them--tasty ones.

We went round and round on the issues. It was a real downer seeing someone put something so stupid like a price tag on a way to make suffering less and health more. Just like with Bee, when you have your Mission and Commit to it, the Universe follows through with all kinds of opportunity coincidences! It is just like dominos falling against each other, boom boom boom boom boom...

By that time, I was estrogened out. I sought relief and I got it.

In any interaction with another, the STRONGEST Vibration Wins. It can be positive or negative, but it is the most intense energy that will affect the weaker one.

I held my own, but I sought out the testosterone corner (other owner, the silent one) just for a balancing effect.

I came home.

And Gabriel ushered me to my room. My kid is with Dad, it's Wednesday...

Guess what?

It's official.

I made it.

He did it and congratulated me. He said I was 'very close' and 'there wasn't much for him to do to make it happen' and 'it was like sweeping sand off a piece of wood'.

There is a wonderful warm feeling of peace and Love in my heart center now.

My body and soul are anchors for The Event.

I'll share more as it occurs...

And after the ecstasy of Archangel Gabriel and his message? I watered the plants and worked in the garden.

There's work tomorrow. And it's another day. But a very different one at that.

Aloha and Mahalos,
Namaste,

How RAW Powered Me Through My Twenty-Four Hour Shift

When I work on Labor and Delivery, and do anesthesia for women who are having babies, I am at the mercy of fate. Whatever is needed I am called to provide to keep the mothers-to-be safe and comfortable during the time before the delivery of the newborn infant.

Typically this exhausts me so bad the next day I am in a world of pain and suffering. Often through the night, as I work I feel the burden of the hours when I would rather be asleep.

This most recent shift was 'different'. I was able to perform with more consistent energy for work throughout the work shift. I also experienced some loss of energy the following afternoon, and in one hour was able to quickly replace it without sleep.

Would you like to know more about it?

I began the day without stress. I was a little late, but did not allow myself to feel 'the day had gone past me'. I cooked an egg and toast breakfast for my boy, which he ate in the car. I also made smoothie with banana/orange/blueberry for us both. And a cup of black coffee.

Once he was dropped off, I called the department and the physician on call to ask for report on today's assignment. I also reminded the anesthesia MD that attendance was required at the department meeting, and I would meet them there in ten minutes, again, limiting stress. I said my prayers on the way to work in the car. I also only unloaded me, not my overnight things, from the car.

At the meeting, there was RAW fruit. I took some and a cinnamon roll that looked curious. It was a mini roll, and after one bite I saw it was not good. I ate the fruit and finished my coffee I brought from home.

What I did next was to prepare emergency medications and syringes, check the anesthesia machines, and move my things into the call room. I have a work bag, and overnight wheeled luggage that is small, and a reuseable grocery bag that is filled with fresh, organic produce for the fridge in the call room.

Because the patients were stable, I had some down time. I did ninety minutes of Kundalini Yoga with Ana Brett and Devi Singh on my iPad instant video app. Then I chanted. And I wrote!

There was a great deal to write! I finished around two, with minor interruptions to place epidurals where I came back to complete each task.

I was surprised at how my hunger, because of my enthusiasm, didn't 'creep up' between the hours of eleven and two when the doctor's dining room is open. Instead after, I went to the main cafeteria, and bought salad dressing (oil and vinegar) and water. Then I had a huge salad with lettuce, raw corn cut off the cob, avocado, celery, yellow pepper, and lentil sprouts.

After patient care, a strong wave of sleepiness came over me. I lay down in the call room and slept soundly from three thirty until five thirty, when I was woke up to take care of a patient.

The patients stack up! I was able to fit in a snack around six of fruit, tea, and nuts.

Then I was working again. In some down time, I checked on the mothers who had finished and were recovering to make sure their legs were not numb. I visited for some time with one pleasant couple.

The emergency hit. A 'bleeder'. This took all of my time from ten to two in the morning. More epidurals stacked up. There was no time for 'dinner', just my 'snack'. After the 'bleeder' there were homemade chocolate chip cookies in baggies on the counter at the nursing station. I ate three, and the nurses said, 'You earned it!' because of the stress of saving the life and managing the emotions of the patient and family in the aftermath of the 'event'.

My energy was consistent and my technical skills unaffected by fatigue throughout.

(Medical research on truck drivers and airline pilots show after sixteen hours, work is affected by sleep deprivation. A human is affected as much as if they had taken one drink of alcohol.)

I slept from three a.m. to five a.m. when I was faced with the brutal assignment of three epidurals back to back. It's not the epidural insertion, it's the paperwork that takes about forty minutes for each one.

At seven I was expected to pack up, leave the call room, and wait for my next day's work which began at eleven.  We were short-staffed, typically this doesn't happen, I get to leave. Now I had the 'short day'.

I had fruit and juice for breakfast. Then I slept in the back seat of the car for two more hours.

I woke up groggy and not refreshed. I drank a coffee with good effect, and ate an orange. I was attentive and alert throughout until two p.m when I was allowed to go home.

I got my clothes back on, and left for my favorite RAW vegan restaurant where my friends are.

My energy was at an all-time low.

My Reiki student was serving my booth. She sat down and gave me a big hug. I said, 'I got beat up'. She said, 'You are going to get beat up.' I said, 'I took care of everybody well.' She said, 'Of course, I expect no less.' She added, 'I will tell Mai to come and love on you.'

I concentrated on my breathing. I rehydrated with kengan water while the food was being made.

Mai sent this:

I also ordered D Stressed, and Elixir that looked somewhat like this:

I drank slowly, and concentrated on grounding to Earth, absorbing the healing energy that was around me, and drawing in Spiritual Energy with my breath.

Mai came and brought rolls for us, 'sushi' ones, to eat. She also rubbed my back, as her husband is an anesthesiologist like me. I work with him sometimes. She said he wants this back rub every night. She knew every place that was sore from the sitting and work that we do. Her knuckles dug into my muscles, and for five minutes I Let Go.

The biggest difference was a RAW soup called 'Humanese' which has tamari miso broth, coconut, avocado, and other things I don't recall. A RAW soup is warm but not steaming hot. I felt my body 'come online' after that. It was the salt.

Chef stopped at my table. I explained how I used the energy of RAW to help me through my long assignment. He was pleased.

Then I looked at him, and asked, simply, 'How did you ever figure this RAW thing out?'

He smiled, gestured to say, 'I tried it and I felt better and more strong.'

I guess the same could be said of what happened to me.

I was able to go home and be a mom until ten o'clock at night. My 'second shift' went well. Not too dazed and certainly not incapacitated like before when I ate microwaved leftovers and organic food from home supplemented with vegetarian food from the cafeteria.

these are RAW 'quiches'

Here are some excellent links on RAW living--
Remember, you need B-12 every day, a green supplement, and a protein supplement to 'go RAW vegan and not lose nutrition.'

Enjoy trying something new! Remember, you don't have to go one-hundred percent RAW. Anything you add to your diet is going to give you vibrant energy because the enzymes that are in the food and not destroyed by heat are going to help you digest the RAW  meal. You won't get sleepy like you do after meat, and carbohydrates and dairy.

That is enough for today.

Mists Of 'Emergence'

I will keep this brief.

For the last two weeks I have seen people 'wake up' and 'notice' me in everyday interactions. For example, I am putting in the epidural and the husband looks at me with wide eyes and says, 'You are an ANGEL!'

He's right.

I am.

I made the 'cut' around that time. It was when I first got in to the aura and started removing the Dark Entities. That is when I learned my vibration has passed that 'mark', whatever in Spirit that means.

Ever since I have been getting 'angel' comments from my patients and their families.

Today an RN let me know about a job at a plastics surgery center in Torrance. She recommended me for the job. Why? Because I am friendly, safe, and put the patient first. Everyone at my work is giving me a lot of feedback about how I am 'ethical' and 'the one they want to put them to sleep'.

One scrub tech wanted me for her plastic surgery, an augmentation, citing, 'you hardly ever leave the O.R.' (I run to pee, that is it.)

I have been frankly confused by all this attention.

And tonight when I came home, the sitter had noticed my new Vitamix. She has noticed my weight loss on RAW vegan lifestyle. (my stomach is gone!) She used to be vegetarian, and now she is 'eating kale salad'. This is the pickiest woman I have ever met in my life. Tonight I made soup on the Vitamix, (she didn't like it, I kind of didn't either. I didn't know the machine makes it warm! Doh!) I made a smoothie for my son, and did two cleaning cycles.

Then she wanted to try my Dr. Shultze's. I mixed it in orange juice, let her taste, and then let her take three 'to go' packets home.

Today a patient had on an energy band bracelet. She took it off for surgery. I felt it. It felt nice, the energy. It helps with the back pain. I suggested Reiki. How volunteers giving it to cancer patients at the hospital in Integrated Medicine programs show increased relaxation in the patients, thereby increasing quality of life. And how many patients go on to learn Reiki to self-treat. She had never heard of it, but was interested. She kept asking, 'What? How?' and I said, 'Here' and put my hand in her aura, saying, 'It's like THIS'.

She got it.

At lunch my scrub tech Kathy was amazed at the photo of the heart-shaped cherimoya I shared with the surgeon and her in the O.R.  She has a cherimoya tree, and showed me her pictures. She couldn't believe I like it. And that I like durian. She had to get over the smell to eat it. 'What smell?' I laughed. 'I never smelled anything.' She mentioned there is a sour cherimoya, too, and without skipping a beat I said, 'You mean soursop?' She kept asking me where I learned all this stuff, and where I buy it.

At lunch she sat across from me at the table. She had never seen sprouted mung beans before. I adore them. She asked so many questions. Like the Asian she was, she refused every offer I made to let her taste one. Finally I took one bean and put it on her napkin. She touched it. She squeezed it with her nails. She tasted it. She liked it. So I gave a lesson on Sprouts 101 (look up 'Sprouting Jar' on the internet), and on RAW vegan. I explained how my lunch was RAW. She had never seen a Golden Beet in her life and was amazed! I had lettuce, golden beet, mung bean, and avocado (for oil) and lemon juice, salt and pepper. I was surprised at how much she wanted to KNOW!

I think these are the Mists of Emergence that the new Gaia Portal is talking about. It is like 'people are waking up from anesthesia and wanting to check in and see what is going on'.

So I am there for them.

Here is the link to the original Gaia Portal: http://gaiaportal.wordpress.com/2013/05/09/flowering-energies-emerge-from-chaotic-events/

Please let me know it you find these things, or similar experiences, happen to you.

Genius A and Genius B

Today I had the delightful chance to watch the interaction between two people I am lucky enough to know. Would you like to share with me?

Let me begin. There are actually THREE 'characters':

Genius A:  my eight-year-old boy who made Reiki Master at age seven. He has incredible retention of any fact read or mentioned to him. He is also a competitive swimmer, and excels at Martial Art. He is in a special program at school because of his gifts. He is an expert on whales. He is a medium, and has seen Walt  the last time he was at Disneyland. (I have too. I blogged about it, Buena Vista something--use the search box)

Genius B: a devout Buddhist who lives a humble life, works hard at what he does, and is recognized internationally for his work in the Raw Vegan Humanese Fine Cuisine. He invented the term, 'Humanese'. He has taken a vow of silence.

Genius C: me. I have an I.Q. in the low to mid 150's. Let me summarize my academics as 'I am Saraswatti on steroids' spending most of my life in academics to learn and to teach anesthesia. I am also certified as a Psychic, a Medium and  a Healer. I am a Karuna Reiki master. My work in the unification of traditional and energy medicine is my passion. People world-wide are following this work and welcoming it. Guess what? My boy is more intelligent than I am! And fun, too.

So now you know the 'characters'.

Let me set the scene:

  • Genius A is home from school with a relapse of a chronic sinus condition.  He goes with me.
  • Genius B is at his office in his place of work.
  • I have the day off. At the request of the owner of the restaurant I came to 'show how my heart machine works'. (I gave them an AED because the owner had twice the highest value of triglycerides that I have ever seen clinically after travel to France. The only reason it is normal is that this person trusts Genius B and ate raw-vegan only for thirty days like he advised. )
We are in the empty restaurant, owners, me, my boy, and the sister-in-law of an owner. I open the AED and trainer pad boxes, figure it out, and give the demonstration on the teaching module. I explain how this 'buys time' between the 911 call and the arrival of paramedics to the scene; it is the standard of care. I did NOT mention that the last three times I have taken yoga on Saturday there, the elderly ladies have made me jolt out of 'yoga mode' and go into 'doctor mode' due to their distress while on the yoga mat.  They were fine, but the loudness or their complaints and the sudden 'need to rest' had me on full alert with my emergency skills. This place is full of not-so-healthy people looking for a cure, and until they obtain it, there is a chance that one of them might need an AED. If I save one life, the purchase is worth it, without a doubt.

I did not say, 'This is for you' to anyone. I said, 'this is for your spouse because he keeps eating meat'. That got their interest and 'buy in'! Everyone did chest compressions on the teaching 'patient' to the 'trainer commands' on the AED. They stuck on the pads, and pushed the flashing orange button when the machine said it was time to push. My boy even fell on the ground as my 'Annie' and was not 'okay' when I gently shook his shoulder. I raised up his shirt to show how much exposure is needed for the pads to stick. My friends are so innocent to medical emergencies that they wanted to stick the pads on my son--I quickly said, 'No!' (Live pads would kill someone to get a shock while the heart is beating, and also hurt very much. I was not going to take a chance with the trainer ones.)

This was done soon, and soon Chef Genius B went back to his office. As I put everything away, I needed a sharpie to clearly label the boxes. I asked my boy to find one. Chef had it, and let him borrow it. When my son returned it, he didn't come back. I checked to see if he was annoying Chef...

And this is when the best interaction I have seen in a long time began--Genius A with Genius B. Genius A is full of energy, innocence, and Light. There is no guile anywhere in him. Genius B, is hyper-polite, doesn't speak, and full of more Light. Genius A looks up to Genius B; I think Genius B also really enjoys Genius A, too.

C: A is drinking green smoothies now for breakfast.
B: fist bumps A.
A: we ordered a new Vitamix.
B: (shows swirling motion with finger, and gives thumbs up, smiles)
C: our green smoothies with the old blender are a little too chunky...

There is a pause. Spirit wants me to ask Chef about an upcoming event at the end of May in the area. His expertise is needed, and hopefully he will be interested in the event.

I also have a pendulum in my pocket that is meant for him. It 'spoke' while I was buying pendulums for the two children that were described in 'Fear of Reiki'. It is to help him in a new venture, so Spirit can assist  when decision-making that is expensive and long-lasting comes up (if that is his Free Will choice to consult the pendulum). Either A or I could show anyone how to use it (see post Pendulum 101).

I just couldn't go there. Not yet. Something watching the energy of the two in the office inspired me...

C: to B--have you ever seen The Annoying Orange?
B: shakes head no. meantime A gets very excited, and directs B to the YouTube (at end of post)
A: may I sit down?
B: nods yes. A pulls up a chair in front of the computer.

we watch and laugh together, well, Chef smiles and relaxes. We watch the first episode, Saw 1, Saw 2, and Onion Ring of the Annoying Orange series. During Onion ring part, we see this:

A: to B-do you like onion rings? (totally innocent of what raw vegan means, figures it's vegetarian)
B: looks at me, then him.
A: have you EVER had them?
B: nods yes.
A: I think they are good, I've had them too.

the next episode is 'We Will Mock You'. It sounds like 'we will rock you'. Chef taps his foot and smiles big over the blender. A and I laugh over it too.

C: (smiling and laughing, putting my arm around A) to B -- welcome to our world!

What kind of world is this, when a child can show a Raw Vegan Chef the wonder of the kitchen comedy of the Annoying Orange? What kind of time is it when an anesthesiologist who was also an ACLS instructor can share life-saving skills with the leading raw/vegan restaurant that brought 'food is medicine' to new heights? And where people who eat onion rings, and those who choose not to, can laugh together and enjoy each other very much?

It is a world where Love Reigns and Angels are normal. Today was the first day I had where both feet were right in the Higher Dimension. There was no ego. We are one, united in service to the health of others, sharing our gifts with each other for an hour that gave me hope and joy.

I had grown so weary of having one foot in the third dimension and the other in the stars! I couldn't bear it! Today I laughed and got my first big sigh of relief.

I hope this story gives you a smile and lots of hope as well.

Here is the link to Annoying Orange. You should have seen the smile on Chef's face at the end. It was a priceless 'photo' I will keep in my back pocket for a long time. Be sure to watch and you will understand why...

Better Than Sex

Well, almost!

My passion, outside the bedroom of course, is to unite traditional and energy healing practice and allopathic medicine. The hospital has been my life. I am a healer, and I had the calling to be a physician at an early age, sometime around three or four. I did not want to be a nurse, although in those days girls typically were not encouraged to be physicians, I knew exactly what I wanted to be.

You think this is one big pipe dream, hmmmm?

Watch!

  • At 7:30 a.m. this morning, my circulating nurse, the youngest and coolest in the O.R., says, 'I went to that place with the raw vegan food the day before yesterday. The kitchen was closed, I came in-between hours. I had the Kombucha. I can't wait to go back.' All this while I am setting up for my first case!
  • At 10:30 a.m. after my long first case, in the hall I run into the coolest scrub tech on the planet. Let's call her 'Hello Kitty'. She is covered with tattoos and is the sweetest one you will ever know. I brought in some Shulze's Green Powder (buy it online) and some Raw Meal (at Whole Foods) to try. She was very excited and asked me about Raw Food. By the way, she is coordinating my schedule and the others in the O.R. who want to take Reiki Classes from me.
  • At noon the Pre Op nurses asked me to join the discussion on Medical Marijuana. 'Why can't all doctors write for it? It is legal!' I joked and said I thought since it was Friday were they offering some to me? Then I answered their questions, and there were many, about the schedule 1,2,3, and 4 drugs, the federal versus state and local 'legality', and how patient drug use affects how I give anesthesia to a patient. (I can lose my license if marijuana shows up on a drug test .)
  • At 17:00 while I am setting up for a case, the per-diem scrub tech starts this conversation with a loooooong pre-amble: the other day I was talking to Fabio (another tech) about some things that have been going on at my father's house. They are seeing weird things and hearing strange noises. It is kind of spooky. Fabio tells me you see ghosts. Is there any way you can figure out what is going on in the home?
  • My answer is guided: The time is coming where everyone is going to be able to see these things just like me. It sounds as if your loved ones who are having the experiences are waking up.
  • It turns out her father, aunt and cousin all have 'the gift' since they were children! I give Psychic Development 101 advice.
  • Also around this time, 17:00, Ben from Kenya, who keeps asking me the name of the restaurant I brought the food for the pot luck, gets it hand-written on a scrap of paper from me. I have been so busy that for one week I never had the time to write it to him in the email I promised.
  • At 20:30 when I am checking out of my day-use locker in the Doctor's Lounge, Ben eyes my 'Raw Food For Dummies' book by Cherie Soria and Daniel...I forget his last name. He is interested in it. I let him flip through the pages while I go into the nurses' lounge to change my clothes.
  • We have a discussion on Raw Food with another O.R. worker before I go. Ben is a pescatarian. The other Dude is like, by his body language and expressions, 'man--I want to get in on that too--I can't believe all this has been going on without my knowing it!'
  • At 21:00 as I walk out through PACU and stop to check on my patient, the nurse asks me, 'Are you losing weight?' Yes, does it show? 'Yes, absolutely! How long have you been trying?' Since January. 'Well, you look good! Have a good night!' One day they will ask me 'what is your secret' and I will share the joy of 'Rocket Fuel', my term for Raw Vegan Food. <3
The Healers need healing.

They postponed their happiness to study. They studied so they could answer the call to serve others in the field of healing and health. They got 'into the club', so to speak, of Allopathic Medicine.

You know you are meant for a career in medicine when you know you would not be happy doing anything else. For some strange reason, you enjoy hanging out with people who have cancer, terrible luck, and no where else to turn...and taking care of them!

But for all of their sacrifice and dedication, in return the system used them to make money.

It did not tell them how healing really worked. Instead they fed them disinformation, and harnessed them to keep the population in a 'working-sick' state. Tonight I read that there is a federal act to get doctors to ask patients about guns in the home. Florida passed a law banning this type of discussion. Several other states are wary about the role of doctors reporting to the government on guns of patients.

In doing their profession, these individuals have given up holidays, family time, and even more happiness. They form a family where they work, especially in the O.R. We are that close to one another due to the nature of our work.

We also are exposed to harsh realities that no one ever wants to see. Did you know, for example, I will not ride a jet ski? Ever! Why? Because I got to take a woman to the O.R. as a trauma who had fallen in such a way she got a 'jet ski enema'. It's not worth it, you rationalize to yourself. I don't want to be a trauma patient!

What I am doing is simple:
  1. Unconditional Love and Acceptance
  2. Daily work with Spirit to bless the O.R. and all the people in it. For two years!
  3. Open Heart Center! My vibration reaches out and connects to you. This is healing.
  4. Examples with patients--my manner and my skill speak for themselves. Today a woman told me when she woke up, 'you were EXCELLENT!'
  5. Once I have trust, I 'connect' them to experience Higher Vibration--Raw Vegan Food, Reiki, talking about mediumship, even my 'zen' in the O.R. as I 'do my thing' in anesthesia, or this blog...
This is how I am going to stage a revolution in the O.R.--one patient at a time, one coworker at a time.

I want my O.R. and entire hospital to be a City of Light, a healing center, like Sedona but without the pretty canyons...just with similar incredible Healing Energy...

Wish me luck!

My Dream Just Came True

My secret dream that I don't ever talk about or think about any more, because it has been so long since I ever dreamed it, just came true.

It was so subtle, that I had no clue that I was being set up today for a dream to just make me go WOW like that.

Today was ordinary-I went to work, I had lunch with a friend, I planned to go to the school play tonight. Boring, single-mom adventures, not the kind that fuel the passion in the heart. It would be like I was expecting bread and butter, and somehow I got served creme brulee.

When today got a little um, 'Spiritual intervention' on my radar is when I left lunch, and had declined tonight's event due to the play. Not more than five minutes later, I got  a call from the school. The lead was sick with fever and couldn't sing. I decided to go to the event.

If you knew how much meltdown I got after picking up at school when they found out we were doing 'what I want' instead of 'just going home like normal'. I almost titled this 'The Bribe' because in single-parenting there is only so much you can do to force someone almost your size to agree to do something.

I ended up forcing hypoglycemic kid to eat Kentucky Fried Chicken, which I knew was a favorite and would get them out of the crying jag. After a few bites, the mood softened, but there was much resistance still about Raw Vegan for Super Busy People lecture.

What I watched as the kid ate made me want to get sick. Ripping and eating the chicken and shoving fingers all the way into the mouth up to the knuckles, like a starving person. Four pieces of chicken, mashed potato and gravy and biscuit. And coke.  I wanted to go to that lecture so bad, I took it, without making a comment. I ate my coleslaw and water instead. And I got what I wanted. Sometimes in order to take a yoga class on 'my weekend' , and get them to come along I have to promise Disneyland immediately after. I need it. I want it. I do what it takes to get it. It is 'tricking' the child into something that is 'good for them': practicing yoga, going to a raw vegan food lecture with me.

Once at the lecture, everything was fine. As a matter of fact, there were two questions I had asked Spirit recently, and I was shown answers to them both, in a very positive way.

Again, Spirit is subtle, very subtle, in how they assist.

As I was watching the couple of speakers talk, again, it began with the typical 'rag on doctors' beginning of the talk. I winced. My son wanted to speak up, I shushed him and said it goes with the territory. Myself,  I kept an open mind and an open heart. Once the technical information began, I took it all in, cross-checking the data against my 'fund of knowledge' as an M.D.

I also was very pleased I chose to place those two letters after my name on the sign in sheet. Apparently the two 'doctors' who 'explain how it all works' at the culinary school are chiropractors. They don't give drugs day in and day out like myself who practices physiology-lab real time every day in the O.R. They explain the 'car' (the human body) and how it works and how that is a big deal. Anesthesiologists drive it!

It began to dawn on me that I was seeing a game-changer in the field of culinary art.

And the next 'Spiritual coincidence' was that the speaker was from a town that my first-husband's family always vacationed. They used to brag about a Skunk Train and show me pictures. I went near there to camp in a redwood forest once. It was a place called Richardson Grove. I had a lot of happiness and good energy there. I recall floating on my stomach on a pool inflatable raft all the way down a creek and it was magical.

It was the part about the first husband that made it click: after my pituitary surgery I was at a crisis and I saw two paths before me to choose to take. One was the path I am on.

The other was to run to three blocks away to Chez Panisse, knock on the door, and beg Alice Waters to take me under her tutelage. I would have scrubbed toilets just to get a chance to learn her art! I had been there twice, and loved everything about it and the open kitchen. It was the best of the best of the best. She 'created' a movement in food, and helped better the lives of many, including myself.  It was my secret dream I never in a million years thought would happen. It was the wish I made with my heart and kept locked inside.

Tonight I had my cake and ate it too. As Reiki Doc, watching a cooking demonstration on Living Foods. Cherie was amazing to see. I felt like Spirit was saying, this is not an accident why you are here tonight. Your wish was heard, so many many years ago, and now it is answered.

I might not go to culinary school, or ever take one of her classes. But I see the movement she has started, and have access to one who has been trained by her. Tonight I made the connection. I understand. And I am smiling because my heart's dream was not forgotten.

The Raw Vegan Food for Dummies autographed copy is enough. It will point me in the right direction. <3 Thank you Spirit for this day. I appreciate it more than words can say.

P.S. My boy and I had a fifty cent bet on whether she would say 'Namaste' at the end. She made the gassho but didn't say the word. Now we owe each other twenty five cents!
