Better Out Than In

Something happened last night between Ross and myself that I do not understand completely.

Yesterday was rough. The visit with the dietician with my son went badly. There were tears, total emotional shut down on his part, and we had to leave the visit, but not before the dietician said, 'he needs LOTS of counseling first!'.

There are health effects of his weight already. His BMI is thirty and he is only nine.

To make it up to him, I offered to take him to our local steak house--my boy eats meat, and lots of it--although I do not. We eliminate soda, potato and bread with the meal, and the owner, is so loving and cheerful to my boy that whenever he needs a father figure STAT, we go and see Mike.

As I was looking for a parking spot, I 'saw' Ross like this with a big crab, but one that was more like the next picture. I was like, 'I don't eat crab, they die, even though I love it.'

And Ross smiled and waved the little claw of the crab and let me know the one I am meant to eat is alive and well and happy. (He does this too when I feed the snake mice).

He said it is his birthday gift to me--it is soon--and just this once it was okay for me to eat crab.

He also encouraged me to buy a glass of the sparkling Italian wine, which I did.

For some reason, I did not enjoy the crab as I usually do, but it is expensive, it's almost forty dollars and a real treat. I haven't had it in three years like that. And as a steakhouse, the seafood isn't that tasty, but it was protein, and I enjoyed eating crab like I used to.

About three hours later, the burping started.  Sometimes when I eat vegan food with 'sea vegetable' in it I get sick. I also get sick after eating lobster. I get sick after taking a multiple vitamin. This looks like crab was quickly to join the list too.

I threw up. Everything.  It was loud. It was not pretty. I spread a towel on the floor by the toilet to catch anything that missed.

All that expensive food coming up. What a waste, I thought.

Ross had offered to pay for it, as his gift to me, while I ate.

I drank some ice water to clear my mouth from that taste.

Then I got sick from the other end.

I laid down, it was midnight, I still couldn't sleep.

The water came up.

I took some of this:

That came up too. I seriously thought about sleeping on the floor in the bathroom on a pile of towels.

I was concerned because I had a case at work first thing in the morning. I hadn't worked for some time, and needed the money. And I hoped to feel better and hear the alarm, which I might miss if I was on the bathroom floor resting.

I was so sore my entire throat and sides hurt, and I was exhausted.

I threw up again and again, barely making it to the toilet.

But the strangest thing happened:  I was calm and not panicked.

As I heaved and heaved over and over, there was no feeling of punishment from God. It was like, 'I don't know why I am going through this, but I accept and hope to end this experience soon.'

I felt Ross with me, waves of loving energy and calming and support, with tingles through my arms and legs especially when I lay down.

Inside, deep in my core, I felt like this:

And there was an excitement to Ross' energy, like I was making an important 'next step' in coming to be together with him in my energy. You see, on the final preparations for going to meet our Star Family, there are energies that are given, that make us very nauseous. I have a friend who gets this, frequently. She is the one who missed her 'takeoff' time, who I mentioned several posts ago.

So there was this perception of this all around me, with the center being my energy:

At two in the morning, with no end in sight, as I went to try one cup of iced ginger ale, I called the hospital. I asked my colleague who is covering OB if he would mind working for me in the morning. He said 'yes'. My boss hates being woken up. So I called the House Supervisor nurse, who knows me, and explained the situation. She said I needed to go to the ER for two i.v.'s and zofran. Otherwise I would get dizzy soon. I couldn't pee, I was so dehydrated, and I couldn't cry tears and I couldn't keep anything down.

But my son was asleep! I wasn't sure I had the energy to wake him, drive to the ER, and wait for treatment.

I prayed over the ginger ale, and although I was too sick to look up the nausea healing code, I asked my angels to write it on my abdomen for me.

The ginger ale worked.

I was guided to take  Gatorade after that, in small sips, Ross said. And he said, 'stay home tomorrow, take it easy, and assimilate the energies.'

At four in the morning, my son came into my room. He was having nightmares all night of Bigfoot. He watches the TV show on 'finding' him, and he said, 'Mom? I think I've watched way too many episodes...'    He climbed in bed with me. He also got me one more can of ginger ale.

The poor thing heard my distress, subconsciously, and his little heart turned my agony sounds into 'Bigfoot' nightmares.

I am better now.

I craved one waffle, with no syrup, and no butter, for breakfast.

We drove to a local breakfast place, and had that at nine.

I've been in bed ever since.

I think it's time for some chicken broth. It is medicinal.

Sometimes our lessons are not meant for us to appreciate or understand.

Here is Ross:

This is a lesson in acceptance. My beloved understood medically what was happening with clarity and full responsibility to her health. I asked her to eat, not because I knew she would get sick--although there was a very high probability given the situation. I earned her trust, and in her trouble, what I want you to 'take away' from the experience, is she rested her trust both in her Life Lesson and in Me. I know how she felt me, how I tried to ease her comfort. I am touched both how she listened to my suggestions of pepto bismol, and her patience with me when it too did not work. She relaxed herself completely into my energy while she was 'worshipping the porcelain god' as you on earth refer to it.

With her illness, I was able to direct the last energies for her physical body to make its crystalline adjustment. Through her nausea, and her medical understanding, the changes that we had to make were masked to some extent. There was a cause and an explanation for her discomfort, it did not arise out of the blue.

This is why I am most pleased with my Beloved Carla and her developments. I look forward to being with her in 'the physical' as I am and she is to be, soon.

I encourage you to 'roll with the punches' and 'go with the flow' for the next few weeks when it comes to the energies. And if nausea suddenly arrives, without reason, do not fear, have no alarm, for it might just be us with the frequencies of transformation to your crystalline body.

In a few short weeks, almost everyone will experience it, for some, mild indigestion, and for others who are more sensitive, it will be like she felt.

In either case, adequate rest will allow the assimilation of the new frequencies into you energy bodies, and the discomfort shall be short-lived.

Namaste, to you from both of us,

Ross and Carla, who is sick at the moment.

(see how she works diligently in her darkest hours? She loves you that much, to send to you the healing from her sick bed. She is a hard worker, and I admire this very much about her dedication to the Light.)

The Spiritual Importance Of Rest

Downloads. When we rest we get the Downloads of codes and Light to help upgrade our Light body to the Higher Vibrations.

  • Sometimes as you are falling asleep and this is happening, a vibration might be felt, a warmth, a tingling, or a 'buzzing' sensation throughout your entire body. Also too, the heart might beat very fast. As long as you are in good health otherwise, this is not a concern to experience this from time to time.
  • This has to do with the Ascension process, or 'the raising of the Vibrational Frequency of every atom and cell and molecule in your physical body'.
  • It was a good nap I took today. Totally 'out', even with the light. It was about two and one half hours. As I was waking up, I blinked with wonder like a child wakes up. No alarm waking me. Right on my own, when I was ready for it. I also heard the most beautiful music! I had to concentrate. Someone was whispering 'I love you' and playing for me this song:

Here is the direct link: http://youtu.be/tdVAqxNLXiw

When you feel tired, make an effort to give yourself time to rest. It is important. Other things if you can't sleep are:

  • Doing something you enjoy
  • Getting a little sunshine, even for a few minutes
  • Fresh air
  • Talking to your Angels and Guides
  • Journaling, using a pendulum, drawing an 'oracle card'
  • Being with NATURE, not on t.v. 'nature', the real thing outside the house.
  • 'Grounding'--bare feet on Gaia, to let all the built-up negative electrical charges 'ground' into Gaia.
  • Dancing by yourself or any other exercise
  • Drinking a cup of tea or cool, fresh filtered water
  • taking a salt water bath or swimming in the ocean
  • doing a puzzle like sudoku or some other quiet activity you enjoy
  • saying a quick prayer of 'thanks' for something
  • sniffing Ito's High Vibration Aromatherapy Oils (www.peacefullscents.com they are worth their weight in gold, and very healing. I wear them every day.)
  • talk with a body organ (they have consciousness). Most often I 'talk' with my Heart Center--you know, 'how are you doing? is there anything I can do for you? etc. It talks back! It does! LOL)
  • hug a tree
  • play with your pet
  • self-reiki and 'reiki undo' (unh-dough)
  • as long as it's not TV, radio, movies, newspaper, or other Not-With-Our-Best-Interest-At-Heart-controlled 'entertainment', you're going to 'recharge' right away.

Depletion and Zonkification

“Don’t try to force anything. Let life be a deep let-go. God opens millions of flowers everyday without forcing their buds” ~ Osho

I recently experienced a mild, travel-induced gastroenteritis. Every illness I have tends to have a spiritual 'lesson' my body is trying to 'explain' to me.

This one was to submit.

To surrender.

To trust my body to heal itself.

And to get to 'know' the 'not-so-psychic'  part of me again. Also to let go and allow my loved ones with their presence to understand.

Last November I had colitis from RAW goat milk which gave me campylobacter. Some of the Touraine cheeses I had bought had an 'off' flavor but I ate them anyway. Monday night I had rigors (shaking chills) and knew I had something like the campylobacter again. I was febrile, and I had an overwhelming urge to sleep. My white count must have been about fourteen again, because last time I had those symptoms it was there. High normal is ten for WBC, typical normal is six.

I had pain.

I woke up. My friends had concern. They shared this wonderful pill Spasfon. They travel a lot, and always pack it with them. When I could I slept. Last night I made it to Paris on the train.

My 'inner guidance' shut off. It is rare for it to go quiet. I slept, but my son was hungry. We went to the restaurant in the hotel. The service took forever. But I had a coke and it really helped.

Sometimes we need to get back to basics.

My immunity was intact from November. The symptoms rapidly recovered. There was some hunger this morning. This morning I explained to the room service person what happened, and would they please bring bread, juice and fruit? (My son wanted French Toast).

So even through I am in The City Of Light, Paris, for some reason, it is time to rest and regenerate.  I have given myself much Reiki. It has helped too.

I used to LOVE Paris. Now I look around and see all of the Illuminati symbolism in the architechture. This city is FULL of it. For the first time I feel the energies here. There is a lot going on. No wonder why my kid and I fought so much the last time!

When you do a lot of Lightwork, sometimes you will be depleted. Kauilapele calls it 'zonkification'. Take the time you need to REST.

When you are not feeling your best, allow your body to do what it must do to heal. The only thing I COULD hear 'spiritually' was signals from my body saying what to eat, what not to eat, and to rest.

A temporary setback MIGHT be something that is helping you to ultimately forge ahead.

Trust. Always trust in the process. Surrender and Let Go.

Right now I can feel the pull of Home, back in California. My heart also feels the 'pull' of the Loire Valley and my dear friends. But I am here, now, and going to slowly take a walk to the Eiffel Tower with my family.

No matter where you are, it is Right. Hold on to it, and listen to what you can. It might be your body, your Spirit, your Dreams, it could be anything. Just go with it.

More on what happens today, next. <3

Trust Yourself

As we approach the Event Horizon, that thin part of the hourglass made up of all possible timelines that converge into just one...it is important to emphasize that all of us are going to experience something new. The ability to trust your intuition right now is the only guide you are going to have through this process.

Never in the history of all time has both a planet AND its inhabitants moved up a dimension together at the same time. We have the attention of the multi-verse watching us.

That being said, there are a few things I have noticed in myself that I have read elsewhere so they might be something you might experience too.

The wave of peace and love in the middle of the night:  The Friday night after Thanksgiving I felt it. It woke me up. If you are sensitive, you are going to feel the 'upgrades' that are scheduled to happen between two and three in the morning.

The tug-of-war between the cabal and the Light: I thought it was food poisoning. There is something 'going around'. I needed  1 pill of cipro to 'get over it'. Do not be afraid to trust your doctor to get over any 'chemtrail-related' illness that is out there from the cabal. They will do anything right now.

If you want to sleep, make time for it:  this is one of the best ways to assimilate the incoming energies.

If you feel 'different', here is how: what to expect, the bottom three chakras are fusing into one 'crystalline' chakra that is white. Therefore, issues of survival, emotions, and control are going to become less a part of your life. You will trust.

Count on yourself to know what to do: At some point through all these media changes, the banking system and mass communications are going to be taken over. When you see new broadcasting on the t.v., you will know everything is 'won' and it is 'okay'. Until then, take everything with a grain of salt and trust your inner guidance.

An Energetic Look at Recovery From Surgery

Recovery from an anesthetic and surgery is a highly individualized experience. Some of the best advice is to instruct the patient to listen to your body. I cannot emphasize this enough. There is a quote by Edgar Cayce, in one of his readings:

Remember, healing--all healing comes from within. Yet there is the healing of the physical, there is the healing of the mental, there is the correct direction from the spirit. Coordinate these and you'll be whole! But to attempt to do a physical healing through the mental conditions is the misdirection of the spirit that prompts same . . . But when the law is coordinated, in spirit, in mind, in body, the entity is capable of fulfilling the purpose for which it enters a material or physical experience.

Reading 2528-2 Edgar Cayce

Here is an example of someone who doesn't get this point in a big way--a patient, a high-ranking official, scheduled himself for hernia repair surgery on a Saturday. The whole team came in on a non-surgery day just for him.

He let us know he had plans to attend a baseball game later in the afternoon.

'Good luck, buddy!' we said, thinking he had no clue about what he was in for as far as his recovery from surgery is concerned.

Mind over matter doesn't work while you are recovering from surgery. The fact is that you have been through a major healing experience that will have lasting effects physically, mentally, and energetically.

To guide you in your recovery, here is more detail about the post-operative healing process, both from Conventional Medicine and also what Reiki Doc adds:

Immediate Post Op Recovery (Day of surgery):

you can expect nausea and vomiting. Here are some risk factors:
female
non-smoker
motion sickness
prior episode of PONV
brow, breast, nose/throat surgery (drainage down throat irritates stomach)
laparoscopic surgery (insufflation of abdomen with carbon dioxide gas)
longer than three hours of general anesthesia
surgery on a large joint (knee, shoulder, hip)

here are some conventional remedies:
drugs to decrease nausea:
zofran, compazine, reglan, decadron, scopolamine patch, Emend (aprepitant),  phenergan, Tigan suppositories, diphenhydramine
half juice/half Sprite combo fluids
take pain pills with food
supplemental oxygen, either by face mask or nasal cannula

**any local anesthetics, pain medicine, and anti-emetics given in the OR will wear off 6-12 hours after surgery**

Reiki Doc advice:
self-Reiki on stomach and/or other surgical site
hydrate--aim is to have frequent, hourly urine output to keep nausea under control
Preggie Pops, lollipops made with herbs/flavors to fight morning sickness
ginger in any form you can tolerate ginger ale, crystalline ginger, ginger remedies sold OTC
homeopathic remedies--those sugar pellets you dissolve in your mouth
acupressure points on inside of wrist. There are magnetic bands for this.
Avoid TV, reading

Consider risk of interaction with narcotics and anesthesia before using medical marijuana or alcohol or other street drugs this is risky

Ibbuprofen, advil, other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication, and aspirin increase risk of post-op surgical bleed that would require an emergency trip to the operating room to stop it.

POD 1:

goals are pain control, resolving atelectasis, preventing blood clots, removal of foley (urinary catheter)

here are some conventional remedies:
pain--stay ahead. Keep theraputic level in bloodstream of analgesic
itch-benadryl or nubain
ambulate (walk) as much as possible with assistance
OOB to chair (out of bed, again, with assistance)
Incentive spirometer, deep breathe and cough

**if you want to be discharged from the hospital, know that ladies need the 'lipstick sign' and men need to shave. Freshen up!**

Reiki Doc advice:
sunshine and fresh air
listen to body
self reiki
family support
rest
soothing music (I bought the entire series by Kauilapele music, six CD's of Hawaiian slack key guitar)

First Week after Surgery:

goals are pain control, first bowel movement, preventing pneumonia from atelectasis, preventing blood clots

here are some conventional remedies:
have help in house, have a driver to help with errands
Iron pills if high blood loss (warning, these can be binding)
stool softeners ( pain pills with prune chaser!)
chicken soup
switch to ibuprofen when surgeon approves, and get off narcotics. (kidney disease, omit this)
increase ambulation

**be very clear with your family and loved ones what your limits are. Once you 'are home' they may assume you are 'normal'. You are not, you are recovering from major surgery**

Reiki  Doc Advice:
Journal
cycles of activity then rest
nap
sunshine and fresh air
shower, get hair done--appearance more towards normal

unless given the okay by your surgeon, refrain from baths and driving a car at this time

Second Week after Surgery:

goal is to increase stamina back, to transition towards prior level of functioning

here are some conventional remedies:
cut back on pain meds
switch to NSAIDS if surgeon approves
cut back on naps
follow-up visit with surgeon
stitches out
continue increasing activity as tolerated; build stamina

**consider going to see a movie or taking short walks in the neighborhood to 'reconnect'**

Reiki Doc Advice:
Try short trips driving car if surgeon says it is okay
Meditate and allow for deeper healing (an energy worker did distance healing on me, and I released grief and loss from twenty-four years ago)
continue Journal, also be sure to look back at earlier entries
Plan for caregiver to exit, but be sure to keep things simple around the house yourself

be sure to allow yourself ample time to rest. Stop any activity when fatigue and pain set in.

Third and Fourth Weeks after Surgery:

there is a risk of depression at this point, one that is typically mild and self-limiting. If it lasts, seek professional help. There is frustration at this point in progress: it seems one-step forward, two-steps back.

here are some conventional remedies:
listen to your body
work with family, doctor to establish when to return to work
Upon return to work, expectation is to be at full capacity--think wisely on this
Disability is ended upon return to work. If tired and goes off work after, new phase starts ticking.

**you may be feeling 'back to normal' but know that you must be in top condition to resume all of your normal activities from before surgery**

Reiki Doc Advice:
this is your last chance to really assimilate all the healing and lessons from the illness
continue on your journal and reflection
give thanks to your body for its ability to heal
listen to your heart and higher self on what to do next

Namaste,

Reiki Doc

Burnt Toast

If there are two servings of toast, one of them burnt and the other not burnt, do you give yourself the burnt one and serve the good one to someone else? Teri Hatcher, the actress of Desperate Housewives, discovered this trait in her mother. She grew up and repeated the same with her daughter, offering the good one to her, and out of low self esteem, took the burnt toast for herself.

This has to do with the Archtype, The Shadow King: The Invisible Force That Holds Women Back
, written by Sidra Stone, PhD . Her work is about hypnotizing women and men to discover the hidden personality inside that is manifested by society. 'I am not good enough. Women should not play sports. Women should not be ambitious.' are the kinds of statements that would come out under hypnosis. The conscious and the subconscious were at odds with one another,  due to the subliminal expectations by society for how women should behave.

This is wrong. I suspect a lot of you out there eat the burnt toast like me. Spirit has been saying, in many places, fill the cup. Fill the cup first and what is extra can be used to help others. As in an airplane when flying with small children, the instruction is 'put the oxygen on yourself first'.

Society has many of us driving to meet deadlines, expectations, 'to do' lists. At our work productivity has been studied and scientifically accelerated to an unhealthy pace. I know for my work, I could not do what I do without lots of antibiotics.

As my doctor said, 'you have so much responsibility. I will give you a big shot of antibiotics and another of steroid to heal you up quick.' Anesthesiologists do not have the luxury of calling in sick. Either for themselves or for their children. No anesthesia, no surgery. It's that simple. My father used to go to work very sick, as a teacher, because back then you had to find your own substitute to work for you when you were out. My mother said it was not because they did not like him, but they had already promised themselves out to other classes on the day he had asked for help when he was sick.

Sound familiar?

We're going to change all that.

Fill the cup first.

Last night I had been up all night. C-sections and labor epidurals and bolus/top off doses. I raced home to get my sister free to go to her Real Estate class. I also had to get my son to picture day for baseball by eight o'clock. I came home and he was having a meltdown over the belt of his uniform being loose. It was like a bra strap, you could slide the metal thing and tighten it. So I fixed it. And we drove, about ten minutes late. We parked and could not find the photo place. I called the coach, explained the situation, and told my boy to RUN! I carried the breakfast, and the sports bag. As I came to the gate I was told by a guard I could not enter. I said, my son ran, we were late, and I have to see if he got his photo. As I walked up, he was sitting in the far right hand corner in the front for the group picture. They got him his individual picture too. Then the tears came out. I had not eaten. I had not slept. I had driven us to the limit. And I thanked the Angels and God with tears in my eyes that we got through this one.

The coach's wife, the Team Mother, had a hunch I had been at the hospital. I explained that it was his Dad's weekend, and I scheduled work, but since it was his dad's birthday, his dad wanted to celebrate with alcohol and not watch our son that night. I explained the meltdown over the uniform, and my sister who is not a mom. She understood. Her son had belt issues too. 'The belt is hard to figure out!'  she shared, supportively.

The game was fine. I enjoyed it. He got a hit, to first base, and also got to run home. His dad came late. But showed up. And his grandpa too, but later. When it was done I had to drive both father and son to their car, and take home the dirty uniform to wash. I was spent.

Here is where intuition kicked in. I wanted to go to the car dealership for a free car wash. It is black and the ball park dust made it filthy. But something said, 'No'. I got gasoline. And I knew to get the cell phone fixed. It wasn't ringing. It vibrated for a call, but no sounds. I had reset it and backed it up and everything. Even the whiz at the hospital couldn't figure it out.

As I drove to the mall, I remembered the sale flyer I had seen in the paper yesterday. There was a small white gold 'Om' with diamonds on it. I had wanted it. It was very affordable pendant. I wasn't sure if there was a chain. I stopped at the store and found it, after three salespeople helped me and couldn't find it. The price was $249, for pendant and chain, on special one of those twenty-four hour sales. The clerk said I should get a stronger chain with it. I didn't think it would break, but I agreed to look. She tried to up sell me to an adjustable chain. I wasn't interest. All the chains were on sale but still very high price.

When I saw the one she said, there was a little heart on the end of the chain where you adjust it. I knew it was the one for me. I looked at the others. Ugly, flashy, with clasps that were too small for me to fasten. So I bit the bullet, and bought the chain.

You know what? I got 50% off, plus 15%, plus another 20% for reactivating my store credit card. When it comes right down to it, the necklace is worth it. I am worth it. I have been blogging at least once every day, helping in the community with my work, all for free. I dream of being Reiki Doc out in the open. And along with my image, what would be best, an Om I can adjust longer and shorter in the hospital as I want it to show? Or no Om?

I bought those, fixed my phone (it was the Mute button from my son's drama play two weeks ago I forgot to toggle back), and bought two Italian cookbooks from Williams Sonoma. And Sicilian Olive Oil. I felt my core regenerate. What joy to find the recipes my Alzheimer's Nana cannot share with me any more! And after a vegetarian sandwich at Paradise Bakery, I felt like a new woman. : D

Whatever it takes to 'fill your cup', by all means, do so. Last week I spent time with my son, taking care of him when he was sick. I was glad to do so. I worked in the garden, with my compost. And I was good to myself as best I could. I enjoy Sudoku when I relax. But today, I needed acknowledgement for my work. This is my work. I know it. I feel it. I anchor the Light at the Operating Room. I encourage and empower pregnant women having babies. And I spread Light as I can on the internet, on Facebook as myself, and here as Reiki Doc.

Now, I am due for a much needed rest. Buona Notte. Good Night.

Namaste,

Reiki Doc

On Rest and Relaxation

Everyone needs sleep. Except perhaps maybe doctors. It seemed like that my last OB anesthesia call. Last Sunday night was particularly brutal. Every time I went into a deep sleep I was woken out of it by a nurse telling me to go upstairs and do some anesthesia whatever.

By the time morning came, I had to drink coffee to be able to drive and get my boy from my mother's house which is the opposite way from our home and school. The medical center is between both of our homes.

Monday was hard. With dropping off my son and taking care of errands, there was not much time for sleep. About two hours.  I was so wound up it was hard to rest. The hours are hard on my son, too. He doesn't sleep well out with a babysitter. He fell asleep with his head on my lap as I sat on the couch talking on the phone to coworkers.

I can't begin to say how many times my peace and rest has been interrupted because of work. Even on post-call days. I will just get to sleep and there is a call, usually from someone I have to answer, like a boss. Even just checking disrupts my sleep. Studies have shown that night workers never rest as well, and not only do people think they are 'lazy' but they live shorter lives due to all that stress.

Tuesday I had a day off. It was magnificent, except for the fact that I was not being paid.

We had a pleasant, not-rushed breakfast before school. I dropped him off AND picked him up. In between I cleaned, took care of some of the pets, and spent around an hour outside in the garden. It was the last that renewed my Spirit. The breeze before the storm made me feel ALIVE! I love gardening, and it has been weeks before I had the chance to do so.

We had dinner, dessert (I baked brownies), and played Kinect for the first time since Christmas.

Yes,  a boss called at nine o'clock and took an hour of my time at bedtime. I should say, former boss and colleague who is suing the big boss that absconded with the cash. This individual takes one hour of my time at a pop, especially when I am done with my twenty-four hour shift and trying to leave the hospital. I have noticed more peace since they left.

When it comes right down to it, out of the entire month of February, the number of days I have to 'do what I want to do' are three. How can one function? By barely hanging on.

With the coming changes, it is very important for us to rest. After every attunement, and sometimes even before, in my Reiki training, I got sleepy. It is important to rest as we assimilate to new vibration.

I think we go someplace far away when we sleep. We go Home. And sometimes when you have that powerful dream of a loved one that seems 'real' you remember all of your life, that is a special gift that has been arranged between your loved one and Home. I think it is more than 'recharging your batteries' or 'storage backup of the day's memories'. I think we go someplace where we are conscious, we review our day, and plan what will happen in the next.

Everything happens for the best. I believe that in this powerful industrialized way of living, that wrings out every drop of productivity to take away our power to dream and to create our own reality, something has got to give. It is like watching the housing market the last ten years. Prices were going up so much I did not understand how anyone could buy a house. I barely afforded a cheap one and I have an excellent job. It had to bust. It was in a non-sustainable rate of growth.

Something is going to change in our lifestyle. Something for the better. I can sense it like the coming of the rain. Be strong, and do your best to go along with whatever happens. The vigilance of our work is getting the upper hand on rest and relaxation. But not forever. Nothing is forever, except What Is.

Namaste,

Reiki Doc
