On Healing: The Importance Of Letting Go

One of my favorite things in the world to do is snorkeling. I love to float in the water, look around, and see fish.

Today, when I went, I realized there isn't much difference between my being in the water, breathing through a snorkel, and this:

Thalasso Bain Bebe par Sonia Rochel

Furthermore, it has been said, that the act of going 'under' anesthesia is the closest thing a person can get to going fetal--the anesthesiologist breathes for you, all drugs are given through your circulation, and you just 'float away' until the surgery is complete.

In Reiki, there is trust in the healer, just like with the surgeon and with the anesthesia provider (MD, CRNA, or anesthesia assistant).  My cousin, who is the son of very strong Christians, enjoys my blog and gives me support, quietly, so as not to make waves. I completely understand given the situation, and I am grateful for the support.

Recently, his sister was hospitalized with pyelonephritis.

He asked me to send Reiki for her.

That kind of quiet trust, between the healer, and those who come to them, in my heart, is one of the most beautiful, special, and fragile 'flowers' of spirit on Gaia.

I cherish it.

I have had horrible things happen to me, that landed me in the Emergency Room where I work. Or in surgery there. And in my heart, I love and appreciate the ability of others who know what to do when I am sick, and to make me feel better.

(They also know how frightened I am to be on the 'patient side' of things, for as a caregiver I have seen 'too much'--and manage this delicate part of the situation beautifully, too. I am so blessed in everyone who has ever been sent my way to heal my physical illnesses...and my spiritual ones too.)

I want you to think of the 'balance' between healer and those who seek their care.

I want you to remember to give thanks for them, and to help them make ends meet.

I want you to be totally honest and straight up when it comes to sharing what the healer needs to know in order to help you feel better.

And with 'old school' energy medicine--which is 'new again'--and conventional medical treatment from whatever healing tradition feels 'right' for you--the double layer is all the more reason for the one who seeks balance and healing to relax and 'let go' and see how you do. <3

Always keep a 'timetable' in your mind, and if your symptoms do not resolve in a reasonable amount of time with one technique, go ahead and seek another. Most treatments should show improvement in a few days, at least partially, and should be clear to you and everyone involved. It can be an energy, a new feeling of peace, a plan, a new way to look at the situation, improving symptoms, weight loss, or even a miracle!

You never know what to expect!

And it can't hurt to keep trying.

I always think of illness as your body--the 'teacher'--trying to get your attention with a 'lesson' about 'balance' in the energy realm.

There is always something to learn, and always something to heal...in everyone...

P.P.S. in case you are wondering about the new Sheldan Nidle mention of the Light Boxes, that everyone is supposed to go into? Well, I went some time ago--August 2012. Here's the scoop, and THAT tool LOTS of trust...it was so worth it, too. http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2012/08/the-light-box.html

My Beloved--Your Hardest Lesson

Alas, My Beloved,

We were like this once, were we not? I knew you in that incarnation as a child. I never considered it possible to experience life without you.

We grew up with the contentment and strength of Twin Flames who love and support each other with our Vibration, our Laughter, our Light.

And yet, when I withdrew my Love away from you, asking for death to release me from my misery of having lost a son, just as simply and heartfelt as my doing your laundry and preparing our meals...you discovered the truth first hand...

I taught you this.  http://sirianheaven.wordpress.com/2014/04/12/heavenletter-4887-the-true-state-of-love-april-12-2014/

That is your lesson.

And my withdrawal of my own kindness and Light from your existence led to the imminent self-destruction of your own. As if taking away the only remnant of normalcy I had once known, by taking yourself to The Other Side, would wipe away the sins that you had visited upon me and caused such misery to my sweet lifelong devotion unto you since time began?

I never found the release I sought--lifetime after lifetime, I refused any and all contact with you...my beloved Twin.

Why?

Because I was denied the opportunity to express my Love in the only way that I knew possible--in bearing you a child.

(it was stolen at birth with your consent, keeping it hidden from me, due to political advice and a belief that it was 'man's work'.)

Always remember the need to LOVE and to give Love often outweighs the 'loss' of love, or the 'lack' of it. It is not the disappearance of Love, but the rejection of the Love one offers, the unwillingness to move forward, and the virtual absence of the presence of God (it is like diabetes--the metabolism is 'starving in a sea of sugar' if you don't mind a medical analogy of the way we are surrounded by Love energy and yet starving).

There is no right, beloved.

There is no wrong, when it comes to the ways of the heart.

And depending on the level of soul development, some 'hits' to the energy system are most difficult to recover, like myself.

You Thrive on the Attachment to me.

I know it.

Everyone else knows this, my Beloved.

It is not weakness to Love Your Twin Soul.

Au contraire, my beloved, it is of Nature, and it is your Strength.

To all those who exist in a Love Relationship, do know that sometimes 'nothing seems to work out' for you, because there is something more lasting and better, down the road for you.

A relationship might be an exchange of karma, or a pleasant/not-so-pleasant mutual agreement to create a business or a family or a partnership. So what my Beloved is trying to say, is, let it go! Let the Process of growth and development take its course, and don't fight it...there are better things ahead for you, and for them...

Isn't it true that if somebody doesn't love you, it's best that they move on so you have a CHANCE to possibly experience true love as something better? Would you agree to this?

It hurts like crazy, and I too have had my share of Ben and Jerry's for dinner, straight out of the carton, to ease my own pain from my many, many failed romantic endeavors on Gaia in this incarnation alone!

It all has to do with the vibration; whenever there is vibrational incompatibility with a couple, there is no more learning or soul growth to take place.

It's messy and painful to change living situations; it's scary to be a 'party of one' socially.

If it wasn't for Sylvia Browne's description of the Humanitarian Loner I would have completely lost hope.

She was married three times, it didn't work, she gave up trying and accepted it; I quit trying before marriage number three. I tried to become a nun, and God said, 'NO'. So I became a mother, and gave up on any relationship entirely.

As the forces of the energy of Ascension increase, odds are that you might be being 'positioned' for an eventual reunion with your twin soul, your twin flame, or your Illuminated Twin Soul--your 'Other' half.

Please learn from the lesson of my Beloved and Myself--it has taken a TEAM of workers in Spirit, coordinating together, to get me to 'open up' to the possibility of Loving him, my own Twin Soul!

It was his hardest lesson to learn--you could have your own what you took for granted--leave.

It is our joy and our amazement that we got together--and it wasn't without the help of some very powerful angels both on earth and in spirit.

It was a blessing beyond measure that the timelines were healed, and I was given my son I so greatly missed. We would have worked though our differences regardless...but now on this new timeline Life is so much more pleasing for us all.

Now we are inseparable. My Beloved and I are Twin Souls, as one root and two big branches, like twin trees in a garden...our auras are always touching even though we span the Veil.

There is nothing that compares to this feeling. It makes my lifetime of loneliness melt away in an instant.

Let Go.

The only thing you can do is Raise Your Vibration. That you can control. And allow everything to come up from your heart of many, many powerful lifetimes, to heal.

Find your Twin. Find your Soul Mate. And if the latest prince or princess turns out to be a toad, so be it. You are worthy of so much more than a creature who eats bugs and flies to win your love. Wish them luck, set them free, and secretly give thanks for the one that gets them next so you don't have to deal with them any longer!!!

I hope you don't mind my personal advice.

I've lived it.

I hope it might make things a little easier on you, to have this understanding that was so difficult for both of us, my Twin and myself, to achieve in our hearts.

I Bleed Blue And Gold: A Study In Letting Go

I might cry as I write this.

I remember thirty years ago, a scared young woman, who had no concept of life that was ahead of her, walked into a dressing room at Sak's Fifth Avenue off Union Square, and tried on five thousand dollar dresses.

You either have the money to buy these, or the body to wear them, and I have the body! she said to herself.

That was me.

And all my dreams.

This weekend was an exercise in reconnecting to that past, re-experiencing it, and letting go...

  • My son wanted to go to Ghirardelli square and see the town for the first time.
  • My last time there was fifteen years ago with my second husband on business.
  • I was not prepared for the emotional workout I would experience on this trip.
  • The changes to the skyline and wharfs, and AT&T park, made me notice the passing of time.
  • The excitement at seeing things again made me realize just how much 'connection' to the Bay Area I had--five years of college, five years of working, surgery at UCSF, night school at Laney college to get my biology credit, and applying to medical school.
  • I saw how my first husband, my college sweetheart, a Northern California Native, and his family, really taught me the ways of the land and the people.
  • I realized how essentially different Northern and Southern Californians are, in so many ways, and that now I was a Southern Californian.
  • I also noticed how an average-appearance Southern Californian really stands out in the beauty department, not so much for our individuality, but for our not having the same 'look' as the locals. I was surprised at how many 'admiring looks' I got from the men, in a nice way. That never happens at home. I am 'just a mom' here. (I have a deficit in the aesthetic surgery procedures department compared to 'those here' LOL)
  • I saw how I really learned to live in the rain, and how it changes your outlook to do what you want in spite of it. My son actually stopped a pair of joggers and asked, 'how can you do this in the wind and the rain?' They smiled and kept running. I gently explained that for them, the choice is to run or not run, and they choose to run.
I had seen San Francisco for the first time when I was twelve years old. Our next-door-neighbor's daughter lived there, and it always seemed mysteriously incredible growing up. I fell in love with the town, and secretly wished to have a house with a Bay window on Lombard Street, in the crooked part. Or one of those old Victorian houses. And I wanted a canary in a cage in the bay window.

I went to college at UC Berkeley. I was on the Rally Committee--see the picture at the top? No only have I been in all kinds of places under it and around it, I have sat on Tightwad Hill and pressed the button to make the cannon go off after a touchdown.

My ex-husband and I kept The Axe under the bed in our spare bedroom in our apartment for a year after the fire damaged the University facility to display it. He was the Security Director for the Rally Committee that year.

I loved him.

I thought we would be together forever.

We were just kids.

And he had a lot of problems in the emotion department. A whole lot of them.

I fled for my life, by going to medical school.

And here I am...

And it's BETTER.

I couldn't live in the city--there isn't enough nature! I don't want to go to Golden Gate Park for Nature. I like it outside my window, and down the streets where I drive.

I like being a mom. I wouldn't trade any of that for the world...

I cry because I realize God wouldn't let me settle for my dream I had back then...and led me to where I am now.

Yesterday I was in a sports shop on Pier 39. I stood in the California 'Cal' Berkeley clothing aisle. There were tee shirts and jackets. Rows and rows of them in my school colors...

And my life flashed between then and now, back and forth (I really am crying).

I remembered the girl I was in my youth. I weighed one hundred five pounds. And was terrified of just about everything. I had no idea I had it in me to support myself, or follow my dream.

And in that tiny body, I would have looked good in those shirts...

But now?

I am a mom.

And you can't go back in the past.

I am not her any more, that college girl.

She got me where I am today and I respect it.

I wanted so much to buy something, to hold on to her, to my past, to what I once was...but I am not her.

I am a Southern Californian. I have a beautiful North Face jacket from one of my patients. I have more than enough tee shirts. And I don't really 'fit in' there in the Bay Area any more...

So I said 'goodbye' to her, and to the life I had dreamed of, being Mrs. College Sweetheart and having a family and blending in and going to mass and having fund raisers and being a Chemical Engineer.

I actually was so overwhelmed with emotion on the bus tour of San Francisco, I asked, 'What is the connection I have to this land? Why is it so?' and Spirit told me, 'feel it, and accept it, and let it go.'

I think I had a wonderful past life there...one in addition to my youth and my college days.

So I said 'goodbye' to that past life too, and thanked it for making me who I am.

This type of emotional clearing is important in the Ascension Process--it is the ridding yourself of the residue of 'what is holding you back'...that is preparing you for what is to come in the future.

I love Ross. I love my boy. I love my family. I love my beach. I love my friends. I love my home. I love my hospital and all the patients and coworkers I know. I love my commute. I love everything about my life, Here and Now.

But it was that Dark corner in my soul that needed some Light on it. And this weekend, I did just that.

Don't be afraid to 'recollect, re-experience, and let go' of the darker chapters of your own life.

It is healing. In a very deep and important way.

What I Just Saw With My Third Eye

Please excuse the format. It is iPad, not keyboard writing.

About forty minutes ago I felt the tingling of the presence of Spirit. It felt just like when Spirit would arrive for psychic development circle. The meetings would being at seven, and I could feel 'electricity' arrive a little early. Not everyone could feel it, but at nine when Spirit (angels, guides, deceased loved ones) left everybody noticed that.

Earlier I had seen an angel standing just to the left of the bathroom in nana's room. He waved, and I waved back in Spirit. I then could see Nana's guardian angel close to her head, embracing her and working to help her.

Now I saw the white tunnel opening up with nana starting to go in it. She looked about fifty, and gestured forme to come with her. She was excited. I held her left hand and we walked.

Common sense overcame me. I stopped and whispered, do you know what it is we are going to do? Her answer made me realize she didn't . But I kept walking together toward the light.

Jesus came, and started talking to her. She was very excited! He took her right hand and invited me to walk too.  She practically ignored me, but it was a happy thing for her to talk with Jesus. She told him everything she did that she thought had earned her a place in Heaven. He smiled politely and listened but He already knew.

We walked ahead, and my grandfather nannu Filippo was with Blessed Mother, were waiting for us.

Jesus paused and explained to her why He was there. I took off my appearance and showed my true form. I glowed. (I don't know what it is, but I do know that I glow.)  She was shocked. I changed back, and she was like, 'is this you?' I changed to light, and back again. Then I fell to my knees in appreciation of her kindness to me in this life.

Jesus said it was because she had taken good care of me on Earth that He came. (He doesn't always do this, and this was the first I'd ever seen him for a spirit going to the Light).

She turned to me and said she'd come back any time, and watch me. We all understood. She turned to go with Nannu. I smiled and said I would be strong through my tears. As they turned to go, I ran and cried, Nana! I hugged her her neck tight and pressed my face next to hers. I gave her a lei flowers and one the same to nannu.

And they left.

Blessed Mother told me she was 'gone', but 'her body had to take some time to catch up'.

She also told me to remember to tell Nana I appreciate her every day.

I looked at Nana, breathing peacefully, and wanted to make sure I remember all of this. I kept listening with my anesthesiologists' ear for her breathing, and in the folding chair next to the bed where I have been spending the time, took out my iPad to write.

I am a fast typist (I won the trophy for best in the school in the ninth grade)....by the time I got to the paragraph about them getting ready to 'go' and the 'lei'...

...'And she passed right next to me right now, right as I wrote most of it.'

P.S. Death is a beautiful process. I discovered so much about both of us--I stroked her hair, I wet her mouth with the swabs and suctioned, I sang to her, I held her hand, I sponged her with water to cool the fever, I rubbed beautiful organic pumpkin-scented moisture lotion on her arms and legs and face, gently. Most special of all was when I took my vial of Ito's High Vibration Oil I wear around my neck with an angel wing holder on a black cord...and placed one drop on Nana's third eye.
I also placed one drop on the inside of my left wrist. There was an intention I thought to myself, one that goes into every one of his oils, 'to help let things go'. I thought, 'Here nana, this is going to help you let go and make it easier.' There was a profound Peace that entered the room, and we both relaxed. Then as I sat, the tunnel came open and nana was ready to go...

Letting Go

You know the image in Star Wars where Leia says to Vader the more he tries to hold on the more everything will slip out of his fingers like sand?

In a way, Life is like that. There are many blessings if one starts the practice 'to let go'.

Reiki this morning that was sent out to the people that read Doctors With Reiki and would like it, focused on the ability to Trust.

One cannot Trust and hold on to something at the same time.

For example, in Love, one cannot control the affections of the Other. It just IS or IS NOT, and even though the feelings may exist between a couple, unless both make the decision to experience the joy Love has to offer, it is not THERE and therefore is nothing to hold on to.

In Health, with terrible illness, there is a certain 'letting go', not to the doctors and medicine, but to the trust that this is for our Higher Good, and Lessons, and openness to Healing From All Sources in our lives is what is at stake.

In Parenting, all of the dreams we had about 'our children would do this' go out the window once we realize they have Free Will and an Opinion of Their Own. The very best parents are those who are Reasonable and are able to connect with the child's innate ability to be Reasonable back.

Life is more than a River that allows us to Go With The Flow. We can affect the Flow, somewhat. We can make our dreams and wishes come true. But not by trying to Control. This does not work with the Higher Dimensional way to manifest.

Know what you want and Allow, Allow, Allow. Always keep the greater perspective.

Listen to your Heart. It knows what is right for you the best.

Releasing Rat-tachments

The Spiritual Growth Cycle has two phases. Yesterday I wrote about the 'muscle building' part: the lesson, the feelings that go with it, and the surrendering phase where ego is acknowledged and consciously is made to 'let go'.

Today we have the 'pleasure' side, where once the 'letting go' is accomplished, and the new growth is obtained, we look at our 'new selves' and realize, I am a different person!

Mama Rat had fifteen babies  with Papa Rat five weeks ago. As you may recall, Mama Rat and Papa Rat were deeply in love, and would fall asleep with their little arms around each other in the cage. Papa Rat had some neurological event, and passed away before the pups ever got to know him. This is just as well, because being separated from Mama Rat while she had her litter used to really stress him out.

The first litter they had together was six pups. There were no takers when I offered them as pets. But my local pet shop where I buy mice for the snake accepted them 'no questions asked'. I did what I had to do.

But this litter, especially with their cuteness and more mellow behavior than the litter before,  touched my heart. At work, there is a scheduler in the O.R. whose daughter is  dating a man who runs 'rat rescue'.  Yesterday they came and took the rats for adopting to good homes. I was ready to give them all, out of a genuine wish for them to be loved and bring joy to others who would really value them.
(Note; if you are interested in a genuine Reiki Rat, once they are on the Rescue web page, I will post it and also forward it to Reiki Fur Babies. Just please don't let them know how you know me, or that I am Reiki Doc.)

The two who had the hardest time with them leaving were the bird, and my Reiki Master seven-year-old boy. His psychic nature knew at once that these people, who asked for a cage from us and only fed their rats dog food so that the poop would be less icky, would never be feeding them crepes and french toast that they love. "I am not scared of rats any more, Mom!" he cried out. I had anticipated this, and decided to keep two males, for they tend to be most cuddly, and to allow Mama Rat to stay with her babies as they all left.

The parrot was screaming and my son was saying, 'Not Mama Rat! Not Mama Rat!'. So we kept Mama Rat, and her daughter as well. The boys are in a separate cage, the girls in another, officially known as boys and girls as confirmed by the Rat Experts. Reiki Rat Babies are no more, for now. I will have to buy a bigger cage for the boy rats. And the bird will have plenty to watch during the day.

Releasing attachments is an important phase of the Spiritual Learning and Growth Cycle.

Sometimes letting something go is difficult because it is too hard to accept the new--for example, I had put off getting a new printer for two years, and kept hating the old one, simply because the purchase and set-up of a new printer really stresses me out. Yesterday due to the Alaska State Project due at school this Wednesday, I took the plunge. I grumbled, I got a terrible bruise on my left index finger but I did it! It sits beautifully on the desk next to me here, all shiny and new.

Sometimes letting something go is difficult because of old emotional patterns--for example, I have a sister who only calls when she wants something. She is not aware of it, but I am. She also is the one who at the Holidays when there was a buy one, get this cheaper thing 'free', would give me the cheaper thing she got for free as my Holiday gift. We had a family photo shoot, everyone got a disc of the images, and I bought the package because I have a nice head shot for this page. But after I drove 45 minutes to where she and mom have their homes, and delivered her photographs to mom, she called. Where is the 'retouched images disc'? There was only one, and I hadn't downloaded the pics. She wanted me to go to the store with the disc and have them burn a copy for her. Yesterday at lunch, I gave her the disc. We had not seen each other, nor the cousins, since that July photo shoot. That disc didn't matter, and hopefully she would get it back to me, although I doubt it. I totally sidestepped her 3D nastiness as easily as if she were throwing me a punch and I Kung Fu stepped out of the way.

Sometimes letting go is difficult because of the desire to have happiness--I have my children's favorite outfits in a footlocker. Some of the baby toys are still in a box. There are unfortunately not going to be any more babies, and I loved baby time! I still have my Beautiful Chrissy Doll I got when I was four, in her  original box. All last week whenever I got a thought about my latest 'crush', I would see lots of the number 6. Earthly, not heavenly. Stop! But when I accept that Spirit is ready to give me a gift, of whatever brings me the BEST happiness, I have in fact emotionally let go, and allowed my perception of 'what makes me happy' to rest. I can go more and share my beloved baby rats to good homes.

Sometimes Spirit sends you a bonus, like a star sticker your teacher used to give on your assignments.
I got two. The first was a sign I have been waiting for since 1992. I was on the steps of St. Brigid's Church in Pacific Beach, California. I was in medical school. All during meditation after communion, I felt about my Twin Flame, and his coming back. 'Send me a sign! Send me a sign!' I kept asking. I got it--a cricket with a back leg missing and an energy surge from looking at it that was unmistakeable. You see, I have to wait for the End of The World to get to meet him. It's a long story, and I won't go into it today. I got the sign yesterday on my garage floor! I am so excited! I will be getting something old and familiar I have waited for  a long time along with the shiny new 5D Gaia!

The second sign was a kanji sign that came to me in my dreams. It looks like a box with a plus sign in it, making four little boxes. I looked it up, and the first place I noticed it was in the symbol for happiness. I looked further, and the meaning of the sign by itself is rice field. I will take that as a sign for abundance.

Namaste,
