Healing With Color, Fragrance, and Light

I had a toy like this as a kid. There were fizzy tablets that colored the water. It came with a small bar of soap and a big sponge fish.

I remember taking those baths, and how incredible it felt to be immersed in color. There was the green one, the blue one, the red one and the yellow one. I enjoyed each one, and made the toy last a very long time. I was only four years old when I had it.

Why would I remember something so long ago, and why would it make such a lasting impression?

Because color is medicine.

It is very advanced medicine to soothe and restore the energies in your chakras.

Submerging in color in the bath, and adding quality aromatherapy to it, is key. My favorite line of aromatherapy bath products is from Sebastien Kneipp. Here is his story from Wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sebastian_Kneipp

Before you go dismissing this, or thinking I am recommending a particular product on this post--think twice:

• He cured himself of tuberculosis and became a priest, perhaps thanking God for his miracle healing.
• Tuberculosis was a death sentence. I died of it once in one of my lifetimes. I remember.

You are harnessing the Light that is stored in the flower, with extra color, and very high vibration healing aromatherapy, all at once.

I am experiencing very deep healing the past few days. If you wish to know the details, there are blog posts about it here too. (It is a past life issue that has come up to be resolved and healed.)

But I just took a bath with lavender, lemon, yellow color, and ginger ('warm embrace'). I also added my favorite, 'Heart's Ease' by Aura Cacia. 

It did wonders for my energy. I am also wearing a yellow shirt now, to hold the healing for my third chakra.

Children are natural healers. 

Take care of your inner child, whatever way possible, when you have need to heal.

Remember the healing bath is quite effective, and relatively inexpensive. You will need to invest in some quality products of your own choosing...ask, and your inner guidance and Spirit will 'nudge' you to what is the proper 'healing' for you.

At the bare minimum, sea salt and perhaps a few drops of aromatherapy oil will do wonders for your aura...

Plug Yourself In To The New Grid

Good Morning Dear Ones!

It is time to connect your energy to the new crystalline 'matrix' or 'grid'.

The old one is fast dissolving away. This is the grid or 'matrix' of Duality, of third dimensionality, of 'us versus them'. There is not energy to support it.

Without your realizing it, a new grid has been being built up for almost a year now. I have placed many a vortex as guided by Spirit to assist in this process. It is part of my Light work, but not all of it. <3

The grid came 'on go-live' about a week or two ago.

Now, if you would like, there is a meditation to help you 'plug in'. It has a beautiful name, 'The Golden Dolphin and Whale Meditation'. It is channeled by Anna Melchizidek.

To help you further, I have this image of the new Chakra that is called 'The Well Of Dreams'. Please know the occipital area of the brain and head is that low part that 'sticks out' in the back of the head. This is where all perception of vision takes place. Even if the light from your eyes focused perfectly into the retina, and a signal was transmitted through the optic nerves to the visual cortex in the occiput, if it was not functioning properly, you would not 'see'. In fact, a sharp enough blow to the back of the head can render a person blind forever by ruining this important part of the brain!

In a way, in Duality, we have had that 'blindness' when it comes to the Higher Dimensions and Multidimensionality. I call it 'the amnesia' but perhaps a better term for it would be 'lack of multidimensional ability to see'.

This is a summary of how the new chakras 'stack up'

In our training there is a 6 1/2--a pink chakra at the manubrium (just under the sternal notch), and the silver 'disco ball' stacks above the white crown chakra. Above that is the gold 'disco ball' chakra. They don't make a triangle like this picture. So for those in my training, the only one that is new is number 8.

Lady Isis has also said that the bottom four ones will fuse into one Golden Crystalline one that is higher up. I saw a picture but didn't get a chance to copy it. You might wish to look that one up.

One last thing to say--this is your Light Body and your Higher Functioning. It Works!

Imagine your mind from this time forward as a 'Loaded Ray Gun Of Instant Manifestation'

Although it might seem more like 'old school oatmeal on the stovetop' instead of 'instant' to you at this moment, you have the ability to 'create' and although it might be like 'baby steps' for you right now, it is the Real Deal and there are no 'Training Wheels'.

So here's an example to keep in mind:

Then there are those times when we feel that we need a miracle, or a lucky break, or even just a parking spot! During times like these, take a moment to notice what your inner dialogue is. If it's, 'Oh no, I can't find a spot, I can't find a spot,' or 'Not again! Why can't I get what I want just this one time?' you're not putting your magical abilities to work for you. Instead, how about conjuring up the feeling that you already have exactly the item or break or miracle that you're wishing for? Breath into the feeling and feel gratitude that it is already a part of your life experience. You might even say, 'Thank you Goddess for my perfect parking spot!' or 'Thank you so much for my beautiful new apartment! This is one way to look at it. You can say, 'Thank you Jesus for my parking spot!', 'Thank you Buddha for my new apartment!', or anything else. Personally, I ask my Nannu Filippo to help me find a parking spot. He likes to help from The Other Side, and I always know it is him because when I ask and he helps he always makes TWO side by side parking spots open up! Once he did THREE!

Whether you call it 'magic' or 'the Holy Spirit' or 'luck', your ability to manifest has been upgraded and supercharged by the incoming energies from Source over the past year.

Conversely, because of the 'active nature' of your ability to manifest, be on 'watch' constantly for negative thoughts. They might arise from time to time, but instead of watering them and giving them fertilizer in the 'garden of your mind', think of them as tiny weeds and simply pluck them out as soon as you notice them.

Think of St Germain as your gardener who is holding a big garden trash bag and put it inside as he holds it open for you. Know that they will be used for 'compost' or 'something useful' and don't worry about the old negative idea that popped in to your head any more. Think about what you would like to have happen and envision and empower THAT new thought instead.

Is this clear? I am afraid I am like 'talking doctor talk' except in Spiritual 'talk', and I wish to make sure everything is clear enough for the 'lay person' who is New to Spirit. This article will help them most, although everyone is welcome to learn from it, even the advanced Light worker!

The Special Request Case: Sam's Grandmother

Remember Sam, who wanted to choose his own doctor--not the hundred percent conventional one, but one who was more in line with his philosophy on healing in general (several blog posts back...here is the link: http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2012/11/who-sam-picks.html)

Well, Sam is real and works in my O.R. He is an amazing surgical technician, especially when it comes to orthopedics. He is also a big Pop Warner football coach.

Sam asked me to do the anesthesia for his grandmother. She needed lifesaving surgery, and was a little risky to 'go under'. Although I was on OB anesthesia, I traded with a colleague for three hours to go and do her case.

Sam wants me to 'zap' with my energy healing in the O.R. (I have also done anesthesia for his 'auntie'.)

I did.

What was immediately obvious to me, once I got into the aura or the energy field of the patient while they were sleeping and stable under anesthesia of course, was that the underlying cause of the health problems and energy imbalance was lack of the Goddess energy; It was present but 'stifled' in this one, and needed some extra 'oomph!' to get it 'on the right track' and flowing normally again like 'chi'.

After I took care of the usual Reiki, Karuna Reiki, and chakra cleansing and balancing, I opened up the Goddess Spiral energy like I do with my daily/weekly Cobra Meditation for Planetary Liberation. (see below)

Part of this meditation is to raise one's hands up over the head to 'take in' the Goddess Spiral energy, and to say the mantra iiiiiiiiiiii while slowly spinning in a clockwise direction. I did this with my mind in the O.R. I also dropped my hands at the right time and said, iiiiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaaa, iiiiiiiiiaaaaaaaa like we are supposed to do. I was guided to give just a touch of the violet flame, and a LOT of the Platinum Ray. I also was guided to heal a Timeline through this patient.

The case was uneventful, emergence was smooth, and we transferred her to the gurney.

As we pulled the gurney out of the room, Grandma stretched her arms up overhead, like this:

She kept them there as we wheeled down the hall. It caught the attention of the entire OR staff that was working in the hall. Woooo! Roller coaster! people said. Another one said,

TOUCHDOWN!!!!! Everyone agreed she looked adorable like that. Someone said, 'Halleluiah, praise Jesus!' too.

Then, she lowered her arms to her sides as we passed through the automatic double doors to the recovery room.

It was exactly the same amount of time that I had done both positions in the Goddess Spiral Meditation for her.

Nobody knew that but me. And now....YOU.

Fear Of Reiki

In this photograph, a cardiologist is using ultrasound technology to non-invasively image the heart. The patient calmly accepts that this is the standard of care, and rests comfortably through the examination.

I had an unexpected reaction to Reiki last night, one of fear, which surprised me. In my hands, Reiki is a new technology--albeit a Spirit-assisted one--that is used for healing of the gentlest and most side-effect free means on the planet.

Reiki is the energy of Love.

Love is the Solution for Everything.

Well, here is the story of when I went to pick my son up at the home of friends.

This family is very kind to us. Very kind. And in their generosity refuse any gifts in return.

For example, when we took them out to dinner, they said it was okay if we bought the appetizer for all to share, but not to buy them their meals. They are Asian. This is a modern form of 'dinner wars' I learned in college. All of my old techniques to 'win' this war were failing miserably in the face of their complete refusal to accept anything resembling the Asian cultural 'dinner war' fight over the bill. One appetizer.

That's it.

After dinner last night, I offered Reiki treatments to anyone who wanted it. Their little girl, who is exactly like me when I was seven, jumped at the chance and lay on the couch.

I told her I was going to work with her aura and she could watch. I took out the pendulum and did a sweep of her chakras. They were very healthy, with only the yellow one being a little less. Mom and brother were watching, as was my son. I cleansed and balanced her chakras (this is a non-Usui technique taught in Western Reiki classes at the Reiki III/Advanced Reiki Techniques) level.

Her mom commented how 'at the Vortex in Oregon someone used that THING on her and said she was very powerful even though she was a baby'.

Never once have I thought of Reiki as ''Power". I was surprised. To me it is natural phenomenon, much like ultrasound, or electricity.

I reassured her that her daughter was very normal and healthy, but had the most healthy chakras I had ever seen. And that I sensed she was going to be a great healer one day.

The little girl enjoyed the rest of her Reiki treatment. My son wanted it next (his chakras were very highly functioning). Then their boy wanted the treatment too.

As children, they were excited and acted as if Reiki was the most natural thing in the world to do.

My son offered it to me. I lay down. He read my chakras. And as he got to the green one, I relaxed completely and let my chakra open up.

My friend, the mother, who was standing over the couch watching the whole time, startled and jumped back a little. 
She said, surprised, 'I feel your energy'.  At that point I had no inkling of fear in her. But I did feel like, 'Man, I can't be myself. I have to pull my chakra back in'--and pulled it back in.

After her shower, the little girl wanted to learn how to use a pendulum. She took like a two-minute shower she was so excited to learn it. She asked for her own pendulum. Her mother okayed it, and suggested she get a crystal one because it is more compatible with her energy.  But as I taught the girl, and her brother, their father was looking from afar with a worried look on his face.

And when the mom tried the pendulum, she felt a big surge of 'electricity down her back and through her arm'.

It frightened her.

Fear was why she said she did not want to experience Reiki treatment.

I have known this family for five years. They love me. They offered their condo in Oahu to stay, for free.

They know me. And yet they perceive Reiki as 'my Power' and not something like static electricity that makes your hair stand on end when you shuffle your socks on the carpet and say, 'wow! isn't this neat?'.

I was extra gentle and reassuring. My friend said she was a nun in a past life. I said, 'I have seen this before in psychic development classes. People who may have been into energy medicine in the past, and are experiencing block in this lifetime, might have had an untimely death and suffering because of their psychic gift in their former life.'

To me this is the only reason to fear Reiki; it is a form of 'Reincarnation PTSD' that is to be treated by Reiki Master/Teachers in this life.

How do you treat it?

• Total, immediate acceptance of where the person is in their Spiritual Development
• Verbalizing this acceptance to them
• Feeling and sharing Unconditional Love from your heart center without mentioning you are
• Encouragement that this is 'normal' and 'I have seen this before'
• Reassurance that the relationship is 'unchanged' and you have full respect for their beliefs
• Gentle suggestion that 'you have forever to work on these lessons and may go at your own pace.'

It makes me sad to know that people very close to Reiki Practitioners might not understand. And it might distance them apart, emotionally. 

All over 'electricity' or 'ultrasound' energy that is used for healing gently and non-invasively working with the patient's own aura and 'chi' just like in acupuncture.

Well. the way I see it, acupuncture has hit mainstream acceptance in our culture. 

One day, Reiki will too. Until this time, keep your heart center open. But not so far enough that you scare somebody!

Yoda 107: Healing with The Light

A prototype Healing Chamber

This is the last of the Yoda series, and the most important: how Light and Healing is going to move forward in our lifetime.

The medicine of the future is going to make use of Quantum mechanics, and incorporate it into the Newtonian-paradigm of healing that we have today. Surgery in itself, is very third dimensional--you image something, and remove it from the body. Then the body heals.

Let me explain what is in this picture:

the pyramid:  the science of Dr. Fred Bell (grandson of Alexander Graham Bell) came up with this design to promote healing in the space delineated by the frame.

the chalice: this is a tachyon-infused quantum device that takes advantage of a 'loophole' in the Veil technology.

the stones on the chakras: colors matching each chakra, little glass stones with a flat bottom, that are tachyon-infused. There is also one clear one between the heels.

Rob Potter put together this device. He said that twenty minutes was 'too much' and suggested we start with increments of ten minutes per person. There was a sign up list. As his duties to running the conference increased, he asked 'is there a Reiki Master in the House?'. Of course I volunteered!

It was easy, and pleasant. Nobody knew that I take care of people lying down like this every day at work! I found that my watch was not working properly while I was in the healing space. Time did not flow smoothly, there were spurts and stops, as if time was stretching. I had to make a point to stay outside and look at my watch to keep the list moving fair. On the other hand, every person inside it was amazed at how fast the time passed while they were being healed! No one seemed to cry or get emotional. But most sensed the energy flow.

There was a time where I had to leave to be at home when my ex brought back the children. I asked for a Reiki Master Volunteer, and one stepped up, taking over where I had left off. When I returned, with the seven-year-old Reiki master, we both took turns doing the healings.

It turned out that the other Reiki Master besides me and my kid, was a Divine Peace Healer as well. We were both trained by the same teacher! She approached me at the end of the conference!

When it comes to Healing, Spirit plays a part! Isn't this true in all indiginous cultures? Spirit was present with us too!

My esteemed colleagues:

You are my heroes, my mentors, the ones I emulate with every bit of my training in anesthesia. You are my colleagues and my friends. I have worked with you in surgery almost every day for twenty-years. Together we have saved the lives of many. Together we have laughed and we have cried. We have worried about our livelihood at times, with all the changes to health care as we have known it, being cast out as 'doctors' and recast as 'anesthesia providers' and 'healthcare providers' by the bean-counters in hospital administration and the insurance industry at large.

I was both excited and enthusiastic about the week that I just spent with you at conference. I enjoyed hearing what you had to say. I knew all those four one-hour lectures took much time to put together, from research to making the slides in your power point presentations.

My take-away from this conference is that you are willing and able to explore the possibility that 'as we were trained' and 'as  usual' management of patients might have some gaps in light of new information gathered from cutting edge research. You have forged bonds with your surgeons and your neonatologists, vital lifelines of communication branching out across the borders of 'hospital turf' for the better care of your patients. Your hearts were open, minds working actively in great focus--to put together what you know so that we may go home and take better care of our patients back home.

As I sat in my conference seat, turning pages of the syllabus as you spoke, and writing notes in the margins like I used to do at school...I both welcomed the familiarity and smiled inwardly at the irony of it all: what you can't see and what you can't measure is the coming trend in taking care of health.

Let me repeat: the unseen, which represents the ninety percent of the brain we do not 'use', is the Next Frontier of Medicine. Watching your Mastery over the ten percent 'that we can establish in a random-double-blinded study, or a meta-analysis' is both admirable and sad.

There is a beautiful world out there ahead of you to discover! I have learned, with pure delight:

• I get the big picture. 
• I talk with patients on a soul-level while they are asleep. 
• I am committed to the Highest Good that is obtainable in that Therapeutic Relationship.
• I work in partnership with Spirit, Intuition, and Light.
• I am a better person, a happier one, and a Healer instead of a 'technician' in my work.

Medicine right now is in the Dust Bowl of Oklahoma in the Great Depression in the 1930's. 

Medicine is headed for the lushest, most gorgeous tropical Utopia, right around the corner...

People have been hiding things from us. You know the part about 'half of everything you ever learned in Med School is antiquated by the time you graduate, but they do not know what half, so you have to learn it all while you are there?'--there are technologies that have far surpassed our Journals, that have been 'not shared' by the Illuminati and the Anunaki with the rest of the world. In fact, these 'groups' have been doing everything possible to keep us away from our own innate healing capability. It is going to shock you when you find out, when you are 'waking up'.

People everywhere are excited about a new tomorrow in Health. Note that I do not call it, 'the Health Care Industry'. This is going to start with an increase in the Level of Consciousness of the Collective Consciousness. Then it is going to get more 'experiential' with Energy Medicine. Just as acupuncture and yoga have become 'mainstream', 'auras' and 'chakras' and 'physical manifestation' are coming down the 'pipeline'. Patients are going to look to us for guidance and reassurance in their self-empowerment and new-found health. It is going to good for everyone, and you might find you have some time to enjoy your hobbies that you have given up in the taking care of patients all your adult life...

I couldn't educate you at conference. You were not ready. But in my clinical judgement, you are very, very close to the level of Compassionate Awareness that is right around the bend. I forsee that the future is bright for all of us.

Who ever really wants to be sick? Isn't it time we made strides away from disease and hardship?

I know that I used your names in a prior blog post. You are my heroes and I deeply respect you. But if you ever Google yourself, and find that post, it is my hope that you will soon come across this. I am waiting to help you rediscover that which you already know and have always felt at Truth about Medicine within your hearts. This new energy is going to steep in and invigorate health care as we know it today...

I work on souls in human bodies through my body, which is human.

I am an anesthesiologist and I see what God has written in your post today, the one that I responded to. All of it was very third dimensional. I did not like it. So now it is time to set the record straight.

Your Light Body is Perfect
Your Light Body is a replica of you, that exists in a higher dimension. When we go to all that, your lost limbs will reappear, your missing teeth will sprout back, your organs shall be returned and all shall exist in Divine Perfection. This is YOU, in your natural state of being. You are flawless and Holy and Light.

For some reason, and for some Purpose, you came down from Heaven and came to Earth.

Your Earth Body is a 'projection' of your Light Body into the Illusion called 'reality'
I see it with my clairvoyance brightest in the O..R. while I work with my patients.

There is a big tunnel of white light that goes in the head and through you and comes out the feet. It is about six inches wide, and sparkly bright white.

Your perception is what allows how this Light is to come through into the Chakra energetic system.  This is how Chakras get 'imbalance' in the first place. Emotions, personal reactions to events and the inner world that you are influences greatly this metaphysical to physical process.

Your Earth Body is a 'vehicle' for Learning Life Lessons and it talks to you through illness
When the entity does not find and correct an energetic imbalance on the etheric plane, it transcends into the physical, as illness. Every illness has a 'message' for the body and the soul that it inhabits.
Medicine Men and Women in the past were highly skilled at correcting imbalance at this step.

Your Spirit may sign up to burn Karmanic debt through powerful life lessons by ill health
Today I had a 92 -year old in the O.R. He stepped out of his body, and showed me in vigor and strength the Light Body of his choice. I saw the manual labor he had done, and how it had strengthened him. I half-thought but then corrected the logical, 'so why are you in your old ravaged body still?'
He heard, and politely answered, 'I stay here for the kids. They need me. Even if they have to feed and diaper me, I am of help to them. I have chronic illness to get them used to the fact that I might die at any given time. I want my time of separation to be as effortless for them as it possibly can. I am in no hurry.'
Souls have a choice and live in a realm that is beyond common thought.

There is no place in blaming the patient for their suffering, no matter how much their choices were a causative factor
A soul in suffering is wanting a heart to understand, and to comfort them, in their lesson.
'My boyfriend lied about how much alcohol he has been drinking', the girlfriend said, in the lobby when I went to see her after the case. (It was a lot)
'Is there any chance he might go into DT's on this admission?'
'No. He hasn't had any for five or six days, because he was not feeling well.'
'I am glad you told me....' and then I opened up. About  a disease. About Al-Anon and how it helped so much in my life. About 'you are a child of God and have every right to deserve love and happiness. Being around an alcoholic does a number on you. Go and learn from those that know the disease best, who can love and support you.'
'Can I give you a hug?' she asked, tears in her eyes, tears of relief from sharing the secret and being one step more free
'Yes, yes of course' and I gave her a big hug back.

A great doctor does not work alone, a great angel is always by his/her side
Reiki acknowledges the presence of the Divine in all Healing Activity. In traditional medicine, one can feel it when one is around a Healer who is in balance in body, mind and spirit. Reiki accelerates this process, and gives a common foundation from which to communicate.

The problem with randomized-double blind studies and arguments is threefold:
1) the biological sciences are no match for the accuracy and solid information found in the physical sciences
2) in market research for consumer products, I learned it is the market research design that determines the outcome of the study
3) people with 3D mindset can have their day with all the papers and arguments in the world; I am bringing my angels with me to the operating room, and to my blog, and invite Divine Intervention to take its course. I look ahead to Light Boxes and my eventual obsolescence as an M.D. Until then, I am going to hold hands and hold hearts in the paradigm that people believe in best.

My patients are the best indicator that I am doing something right
There are critical care nurses, physical therapists, massage therapists, and other physicians taking the path I walk: the path of Mikao Usui, who followed his inner guidance closely. By sparking the hearts of healers all over the globe, we are bringing in the Light to a world where there is Darkness, the hospital, the twisted cabal-run industry of selling 'health' that in fact is anything but (I think the author of your article is coming from this angle), to overpaid CEO's and layoffs and short-staffing on the front lines...We are doing Reiki one patient at a time, no matter where we work, and increasing the Light-fold on the planet with the assistance of our angels, guides and deceased loved ones until it is time to quit.

Reiki C-section: A Case Report

The benefit of Reiki  in childbirth is most noticeable with the anxious patient scheduled for a repeat cesarean section. This is a case report of how Reiki and the discipline of a Reiki Master/Karuna Reiki(tm) Master made a difference in one couple's experience in childbirth.

The Reiki process starts out with preparation: all the equipment and medicine required to anesthetize for surgical childbirth are in place. Organization and consistency increase the calm for everyone involved in the procedure. Anesthesia sets the tone for the O.R., no matter what.

Next is the patient interview and quick examination. I am taking in a lot of verbal, non-verbal and body language cues when we first meet. I set you at ease talking about your last experience, and what can be done to make this experience better for you? For example, if the last time you were so numb you could not breathe and just sort of went to sleep, I would instantly know that you were too anxious for surgery, were moving and panicking enough to endanger yourself and the surgeon, and that the anesthesiologist snowed you with sedation. That your arms were strapped to the arm boards when we normally do not do this at this hospital, confirms my hunch.

 I counter this with kindness, friendliness, and asking if you would enjoy a little music during surgery? You are caught off guard, pleasantly surprised, and make a specific request for a religious music station on Pandora. I agree.

Next I warn the room what to expect. Anything outside the range of typical, I let my colleagues on your case know about it so we match. Anesthesia, nursing, scrub tech. I want seamless delivery of care. Any concerns of yours, I make sure everybody will know.

 Upon your arrival to the Operating Room, I switch to Pediatric Mode because I know you are anxious. Everything I am about to use, I show you first. I explain. And I imply (you are an adult so I don't actually say it for each thing, just the major ones) that it will not hurt. I make a point to show you the Carpuject cartridges of midazolam, and point out that if the anxiety gets intolerable for you, you can ask for me to give it. I let you know you are in control. Psychologically, it is like knowing that the chicken exit door is there when you are in line for Space Mountain at Disneyland. I am honest, and let you know I would like to wait until after the baby is born, so that baby will not be born under sedation, and that you will remember the experience of childbirth, for it is special. You agree.

The block is placed with instruction and explanation. See this, I use it to scrub your back. It is cold, wet, and a little scratchy. Here are the papers I stick on you. Here is a bee sting. It is numbing you skin so you won't feel the rest of the spinal going in. The medicine is going in now. Your legs are going to go numb right away. Think of it as my borrowing your legs for a while until your baby is born. I do this in less than five minutes. My skill is exceptional at this point, technically. Speed, accuracy, and keeping you calm with my manner. You have no clue, but I know the others in the room are impressed.

We lay you down and put the rest of the monitors on. I give you antibiotics. Your anxiety kicks in, and you grab both of my hands in terror. There is a trick to anesthesia in obstetric surgery: you won't feel hot, cold or pain, but you WILL feel someone is working on you. Like at the dentist. This is a challenge for you to grasp. I see this in the anxious and the less educated. I am okay with this. I let you hold my hands. The charting can wait.

As long as you are monitored and doing okay with your blood pressure and heart rate and oxygen saturation, the Reiki training helps me to focus on YOU. You are terrified and therefore in need of my services. Now. It can't wait. I start Reiki.

No wonder why you are terrified! You have no connection to ground whatsoever! You take your spirituality to heart, and are more focused on the higher chakras and Heaven than here. I ground you. I give SHK to calm your emotions. And I give transition symbol for the impending birth. I do many many symbols with my eyes and I see them work in the same manner as if I had pushed a drug. Same onset. Same efficacy. Your partner arrives, and is a professional spiritual person. A pastor. You look up to this person, and ground yourself to them, but not to Gaia. I get it.

And I work. I let all my work pile up, and I console you with your partner as every little tug and pull gets you on edge as the surgeons work. The baby is born and I see your anxiety go up instead of down. Is the baby okay? The bonding you do with your partner at this point is intense. I say I am blessed to be here at this special moment in your lives, and I mean it sincerely. I reassure you both.

Soon your partner cuts the cord and you are anxious again. I have to give medicines for uterine contraction and catch up. I let you know and you apologize for 'being so worried', and also refuse sedation that I offer.

You meet your newborn, with wonder and delight of a child. I take pictures of the new family. The baby and partner go, and you clutch my hands again. I am caught up with orders and charting. It is no skin off my back, and I roll with it.

The conversation turns to Friday the Thirteenth. It is my lucky day! You share that you would never schedule an elective c-section on that day. There is talk of Winchester Mystery House. The surgeon does not know what it is. I joke and share it was job security for the laborers and craftsmen, and still income source now. I mention our family has a picture of a ghost there. It's true, it was a bedroom, and when the film was developed, there was a body size light lying on the red bedspread. You say that you don't believe in ghosts. I backpedal artfully, and say we used to spook each other while watching slides.

I know it was real. I was there when that picture was taken. I felt her presence. But this is not the time or place for such. You thank me profusely for letting me squeeze your hands. You are okay now.

Your family member says she felt a calm when I walked in the room and introduced myself earlier. She knew at once everything was going to be okay.

You are a twin. And I asked about the twin experience? When your sibling gave birth, you felt the pain. You couldn't explain it. And you show up at family events wearing similar outfits without even planning it. You are best friends and yes had a language of your own. People treat us like one person, you share. That is real. That is what Reiki is all about. Being real, putting up with people's programming, and making space for the real person inside of your heart to speak.

You do have psychic experiences. More so than most of my patients. I used Reiki to set the tone and do adjustments on you, the way the guy would on City Dog (that mojo just flows down the leash from him to the dog, an owner said), or a horse whisperer would to horses.

Reiki lets me get into your aura and give you a better experience than the one you had the last time, the one that had you afraid of re-experiencing this entire pregnancy.

I gave you joy. I gave you hope. I gave you comfort and exceptional care. I went against the grain of every anesthesia training I had in my body (drug her! ) I worked with the best in you that was hidden and it showed.

The one who experienced it the most was your partner. I got a hug of deep appreciation, for only they knew how anxious you truly were. More so than you imagine! And I contained it without the use of sedative drugs.

I gave you a chance to remember the birth of your child. But in the grand scheme of things, I was only a tool in the hands of our Creator. I think your religion would let you agree to that. (Although if you knew the rest of me you might shun me and say I was not holy enough for you to tolerate me, because I talk to dead people and that is from Satan according to your religious beliefs.)  I am okay with it. And this is what the practice of energetic medicine, in particular, the application of Reiki during cesarean section, is an advantage on all counts.

Only anesthesia can use it with the patient unawares. Everyone else has too much to do. Any Reiki volunteer with their hands would make it obvious, and be unacceptable to you.

I visited you in the morning. You thought is was very nice of me to stop and check. You gave a great big smile, right from your heart.

Love knows no boundaries. And the work of a healer is to neutralize fear in all of its manifestations.
