It is an old one that I think, if you are medically trained, you will 'get'--if not--well, that's okay too.

Q.  How do you hide twenty dollars from an internal medicine doctor?
A.  Hide it under the dressing. (The surgical dressing on the patient).

Q.  How do you hide twenty dollars from a surgeon?
A.  Put it in the chart.

Q.  How do you hide twenty dollars from a radiologist?
A.  Put it on the patient.

Q.  How do you hide twenty dollars from an anesthesiologist?
A.  Tell the patient where it is.

Q.  How do you hide twenty dollars from a plastic surgeon?
A.  You can't.

That one is kind of true, for me, as an anesthesiologist.

Lately Spirit has been forcing me to interact with people in a way that is not my strength.

It's like having to work on my backhand in tennis, instead of my forehand swing--a little uncomfortable, but I know it's good for me.

Here are some examples:

• Being sent to the surgery center where I think they don't like me because I insist on oxygen for my patient between the O.R. and PACU. It comes in little green E cylinders. For some reason they just skip it. This April, I was seated at a wedding on the beach with a whole table full of people from THERE who I haven't worked with since December. I had to make CHIT CHAT. : P  It turned out we had a lot in common, and today, when I came in, I was welcomed with open arms.
• My boy's teacher. She is spiritually 3D, in her vibration. She gave a punishment today that made him cry. It was arbitrary. It was labeling. It was trying to break him. He was upset and unable to finish the assignment he was given as punishment for two hours. I asked Archangel Raphael to help me out... At one point I was cooking dinner, washing the dishes, and the child said, 'I am weak in spirit'...Immediately I came to where he was, got down to his eye level, and said, 'You aren't going to find anyone stronger than me. I am one strong motherfucker. I am a single mother. I work full time. I went through medical school. I PAID for medical school! Do you know how many people do THAT? Very few. And you know what YOU are? You are HALF me! I gave you my breath...'  The words came out of my heart. They were crude. They were simple. But it worked and he was able to finish the assignment.  (Ross made a comment as I finished cooking and saw him working quietly. He said, 'you were beautiful!') 
• My ex. He asked to borrow the pass to Disneyland for this weekend. The last time he did it, I knew it was because he wanted to take our son (which I don't mind) and his new girl (which I did) and get the discount from the annual pass I paid a lot of money to buy!!! I felt like I was being used to fund his date! I was irate about it for weeks and fumed and thought, for our boy, it's okay, but for HER (he practically ignored our son the last time and made him ride in the rides by himself so he could ride with her and he talked with her and ignored him). Today I got the text, 'would you mind sending the pass in the bag this weekend?' There is a new girl, who is just a 'friend' and our son likes her. I was like, 'okay'. there was no rancor, no feeling used, no anger or frustration on my part, at all, although the actions were the same.
• The new to Reiki lady at the crystal store this afternoon, who was talking about how the Reiki healer who had just worked on her 'cleared her chakras and removed attachments' etc. etc. caught my eye as I was shopping for some Moldavite. I looked up, smiled politely, and didn't say a word about who I am or what I do...I thought about it, but decided to let her enjoy her special day and talk instead of listen to me.
• The 'I'm leaving on a fabulous cruise tomorrow' lady in line ahead of me at the same store, who talked forever. I smiled and said, 'I am happy for you'. When she left I also gave her a hug. She was taken aback--how SWEET! she exclaimed.' I used to be really JEALOUS of others who could travel when I could not. Not anymore!

It's almost as if there is a list, a checklist of sorts, and someone is going through it one item at a time to make sure that everything I needed to be tested on, I had one more chance to show I had 'grown' on it.

The Chalice Of The Divine Feminine Healing Light

You are a chalice!  Spirit said to me yesterday.

I was like, 'What? What is a chalice? You mean that drinking wine fancy metal goblet thing?'

And it is coming to me now.

'God is a woman.', said The Patient That Healed Me three days ago, 'Anyone would know it. They are the bearers of New Life.'

Then there was this quote I saw today:

I practice from a deep belief that a woman’s body is sacred, that birth is sacred and that the womb is the sacred vessel that holds a new life. That woman indeed is the sacred chalice of life!

This innocuous-looking device is more than a chalice. It has Pleiadian design to harmonize the quantum energy fields in its vicinity. It is 'tachyonized' and used in advanced, non-invasive healing.

I was using Reiki under the pyramid structure with tachyonized healing crystals and the quantum resonator into the aura of the people that attended the Laguna Beach Cobra Conference last year. One of the crystals is on the 'patient's' third eye.

Women are shaped like chalices--thin at the waist, like an hour glass.

Women are heart-based, and understand the emotions, rather than the intellect, because of their Divine Feminine Nature. (This is not all--some mothers are not exactly 'calm' or 'healing', I am the first to admit)

Women tend to be the Healers in the family. Married men live longer because of the influence of their wives...

In a very wise 'angel couple' I know, it is the woman that sends Divine Feminine Goddess Energy to heal the man as he does his energy healing work. (I will write more on them later). She sends it right from her heart to his energy fields to heal it after it gets attacked by non-physical negative entities that he removes from places.

There is something MORE to this chalice that Spirit is bringing up at this time.

There is a lot of hope in Yoda 107.

In the future there are going to be 'Cities of Light' healing centers where people go to cure EVERYTHING. The first has been selected to go, or already is, in Sedona, Arizona.

I want to be a part of this new healing paradigm. I want it more than anything and in my heart I am building it. I envision a column of Light where I work, and at another more natural 'healing' location not far, it's right down the street. In my mind's eye, I see two columns of white light coming out of both 'places' and combining into one huge column of Light up to the Sky.

It is my wish for Advanced Healing to be made available to those who I work with, my patients, and their families. And everyone else is invited to come. When it is ready, an announcement will be made on this blog.

Right now we have Reiki in the Operating Room with five practitioners besides myself. We have 'open to spirit' other workers in their 'conventional' roles for the O.R. too. There is a big vortex in the Doctor's Dining Room that was put there by me : )))  . The other site is full of the presence of angels. A lot of natural healing takes place there; rumor has it some have been cured of cancer. I know for myself I have a new, stronger body, more energy, more hope, and at last I found Peace all because of the work done by these most humble and caring team of Lightworkers under the direction of at least two Galactics I recognize as such but am not sure if they are aware of it. And I am not going to be the one to tell them! LOL! The female is a Sirian, without a doubt. And the male? That is my favorite thing to guess. Today I guess 'andromedan' but tomorrow that could change.

After the Event, it is my hope that the Galactic Brothers and Sisters in the skies will grant me my request: to be IN on bringing the advanced healing to the masses with Love and an Open Heart.

My favorite place in the world is Lourdes, France.

It is because the crutches and braces and other 'healing devices' that are not needed any more are nailed up above everyone's heads on the walls.

I want everyone to get that kind of healing--a miracle that you never dreamed possible for all your life, and hoped against hope it would really be given through God and Divine Feminine.

Even thinking about it now makes me cry.

When I was at Lourdes, naked, in the bath, with the nuns covering my modesty with a towel and another pouring the healing waters on me, I made one wish: it was for my children to be spared the pain I had experienced while growing up--to break the chain, the cycle of suffering.

Today I fly to Paradise, or Hilo (ITO) from LAX.

I have two first-class tickets**. It is my son's dream to fly first class at least once in his life.

I lied and told he we can only afford coach.

I can't wait to see the look on his face when he figures it out. <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

A Doctor With Reiki

This blog is not what would appear to the eye. It is the story of an individual Doctor who has found their 'Way' through Reiki.

The Reiki has allowed for the alignment of the Divine, as it appears in their skill set: mediumship, clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience, clair cognizance, and healing others as well as their own Doctor Heart.

I must add that Reiki, alone, without the support through Psychic Development that often accompanies the Reiki student's path of learning, would be just half the story.

My brothers and sisters in the 'hands-on' traditions, I do not know if they experience these 'Reiki Guides' etc. They are writing papers and not talking.

But indeed it is true.

Today is my first day of Freedom. I look forward to being Light in action  with my day. My deepest scars are healed. I am set free. And life is wonderful!

The Difficult Patient

Reiki is unique in that it heals without taking out energy from the healer. It 'flows through'. That being said, not all patients are equal. Some require more handling, some less. And how they act with you on the surface may have no bearing on the state of their energetic system. There is personality, consciousness, physical state, and transference from the patient to the healer to address. Here is what I do to keep me at the top of my game in the healing arts.

It all starts with you. Are you a healer? Do you have a calling? Do you take care of hurt animals and plants and get them better? Do people come to you with their problems out of respect for your success with managing their problems in the past? Are you one of those people who, like it or not, are drawn to the healing professions so much that you likely wouldn't be happy doing anything else, like sales or marketing? Some people are healers. It is their calling, and their interest and passion will lie in service to their fellow beings in this life. You don't have to be a 'healer' to do Reiki, but if you are, it really really helps you in your practice with the public when you interact with them.

What is inside of you? What are your predominant thoughts? Are they worldly? You will know. Daily meditative practice, be it Qi Gong, Yoga, Crossword puzzles, a sport that you do regularly, playing a musical instrument..anything to take your mind off the moment and allow you to 'connect' with your Higher Power/Source/God/ Spirit will give you a foundation for healing that will stabilize you in your interactions with others. Practice such as this will allow you to process your interactions and release any issues that may have come up with earlier days at work for you. You don't want to carry those around to the next day.

Are you present? Did you brush your hair and teeth? Did you take a shower? Did you get a good nights' sleep? Do you smoke? Patients are going to smell it on you. It is not so much what kind of image you project, rather it is your level of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical comfort at work. If your shoes hurt and your clothing is tight and you are thinking about when you can take your next break, it will affect you and the patient. When I was in residency, I was surprised at how often I was sicker than my patients! They do not know, or care, and take your time anyhow. The more you can buoy yourself up, and be in a good position to take care of others, the easier it will be on both the healer and the patient.

Do you smile? To a patient that means so much--an open heart and mind for healing. If your inner state is one of joy from living with Purpose of helping others, they will catch it. It is infectious, a light heart! The healing, apart from whatever your training and why the client comes to you, begins when your aura begins to interact with theirs.

Speaking of auras, there are some things you can do with yours to protect you:
1) shield yourself. This needs to happen two or three times a day. Your choices are (pick up to three)-
     a) white light
     b) pink light (love)
     c) green light (healing, love)
     d) violet light (very high energy)
     e) gold light (archangels)
     f) lead (nothing can pass through--might slow down your psychic ability a bit temporarily)
2) Remove your own attachments (negative entities and dark entities and implants. see www.margaretmccormick.com for details)
3) have a golden mesh shield permanently installed in your aura to prevent future attachments

I had the work done with Margaret and it gives 'insurance' that my life energy is for me, not some energetic parasite. And that no matter what my patient gives, it is going to stay that way. I am safe, energetically.

Drop your baggage. Many times a patient/healer interaction is going to 'stir something up'. Work through your past, your life lessons, and try to come from a position where ego does not play a role in the healing process. It will be easier for everyone involved. Ego is counterproductive to the healing process.

Be yourself. Your feelings, your emotions, your insights are valuable to use in the healing process. Through practice, you will learn how to play them up in their best light with the person at hand. With smokers, for example, one doc at the VA used to play hardball with them when they would give a barrage of excuses, 'what!? do you think I am stupid (to believe all that)?'. It would disarm the patient, with military-style humor and truth, and the healing discussion could start after that. This method would fail miserably in a different context somewhere else.

Take small breaks. Everything you do to take care of yourself, be it a cracker and some juice in two minutes, will fortify you to perform in the healing environment. Lately I just like to get a little sun, maybe ten minutes. When colleagues see me I tell them 'I am making some vitamin D'. Sunlight really helps to clear out the energy I pick up when working with patients, especially on L&D.

Know that your time of service will end. Your shift is a finite number of hours. You will be home to rest and recharge. But in a greater sense, your time as a healer will end. Your will wind down your career, and likely become a patient yourself. Remember that it is not forever, and enjoy your chance to make a positive impact of others through their lives.

Have a sense of humor and reach out to other caregivers. The one that 'makes your head spin' when you interact with them is likely to have been a hurricane of emotional and energetic destruction to others in their path through the hospital. You are not imagining it. Get a reality check ASAP.

You are not going to heal them like the evangelical preacher that says 'put your hand on the TV and you will WALK again!'. It isn't instant in the medical field, or anywhere else for that matter. There are factors going into it, and the energetic imbalance that led to illness did not happen in one day. You are, however, in the position to have a positive effect on the overall balance between negative and positive in your patient's perception. Try to tip it, tip the balance just somewhat toward the Light. The effect may take days, weeks, or years for the fruit of your interaction to take place. Plant the seed and trust that everything is happening for the best. Know that your work is appreciated very much, on both sides of the veil, by your patients, and by the guides that watch over both of you.

Love is the Solution For Everything. You will live this. You will learn this. And you will grow to like it very much.

Turn it Around: A Tribute to the Work of Byron Katie

This video floored me with its sheer power of healing and Light and Truth.

So many times we get thoughts that nag us. They go round and round in our heads. They take away our peace.

Byron Katie is a person who lived a life full of addiction. She got herself out of her addiction by coming up with four questions. Every time she had a thought that would take over her day-to-day attention, she would ask herself these four questions. Roughly, they go:

1) Is this thought True?

2) Are you absolutely, positively sure that this is True. Is there ANY chance it could NOT be true?

3) How would you and your life be WITHOUT this thought?

4) Turn it around. Tell yourself 'The Opposite of this thought is true'. Can that be true?

Then you let go of the thought and you heal.

Yesterday I was woken up at five a.m. by a nurse whose patient had a history of paralysis from multiple fractures of the back. Although the studies, that were old, were normal, this patient was concerned about the pain of childbirth and wanted to know her options. Unfortunately she did not do the studies in the MRI her neurologist had asked so that he could give a recommendation to me where it would be safe to go. (Our usual entry point is L3-4).

I was struggling. here I am an anesthesiologist. I don't want to do the procedure. It is too risky for her. But she is asking. When I walked in she was just on the phone callling her friend to tell her she was in labor and it was time to give her Reiki and come. I knew they could be reasonable. But I asked Spirit for guidance on what would be best for her.

I shared about how my way of removing pain involves numbness and weakness. And that this is the same problem she had before with her injuries. It came to me in a flash--patients with neck fractures are positioned awake first before we operate. The  breathing tube goes in awake. Why? Because someone with a broken neck will never move in a way that will make it hurt worse. It's too painful. So I phrased it--'It is in the MIND. People who do labor natural have to WANT it. For you, the options I have for pain would make you at risk of moving in a way during labor that could hurt you worse and it could be permanent. You would not know if you moved in such a way to make the situation worse for your spine. You need to be alert and clear-headed to PROTECT YOURSELF from all nerve injuries that are possible in labor for you.'

I ran into the dad, who is a nurse, in the elevator. Once inside, I shared, 'Nobody here knows this, but I am a Reiki Master and a Karuna Reiki (tm) Master. I was connecting to Source to find the right answer for your wife.'

He smiled and said, 'I kind of got that vibe in the room from you. That is good. That is the way of the future in medicine.' I said, 'I know' and was glad.

What you have before you in this video is pure energetic healing. On a Soul Level, with the Mind. Byron knows the quirks of it. And she pushes the envelope beyond that of traditional counseling and therapy. Her having 'lived through her demons' gives her the compassion and credibility to do her work.
