Discover The Vastness Of Your Heart

I listen to the sounds of morning as it arrives to my home.

The crickets are chirping.
The birds are singing a chorus only they understand--but it seems important to them!
The freeway is ever present, the sound of cars and trucks going by on the road.

The sky is lightening, faintly...

This is when I send Reiki to you.

In solitude, I connect to All That Is, and do what I was taught to do with my Reiki Healing Art.

I send it to everyone who has ever read any of this blog, who has liked Doctors With Reiki on Facebook or followed it on Twitter...and to all their friends and families too.

I also send it to those who have done the same on several websites I follow.

And I cross link my healing list to the healing lists of other Reiki practitioners who are following this work too.

At first it was heavy, but each time it got easier to work with the energies...and with baby steps I have worked up to where I am today.

This wouldn't be possible to meditate and connect to the vast source of strength that is carried within, if I had on the TV or the Radio or was focusing on my long 'to do' list, would it?

We each are given a powerful heart center that connects to All That Is, to Source. It is our heritage, at birth. All of the solutions to problems, challenges, and how to live our dreams--exist in the timeless space deep within our hearts, our souls, our higher selves...

How do I meditate?

I think of God.

I can be driving a car, cooking dinner, folding laundry. I do not have a meditation room, or a Reiki room in my home. Everywhere I am is 'Reiki', is it not?

So for those who lost me at the 'I send Reiki out' to the many part--how can she send it without asking for consent individually!?--well--I technically 'make it available to them' by sending it to their Guardian Angel. This does not violate free will. It's a loophole. And I found it to help heal everyone I can. It's okay, spiritually, to do this. It doesn't hurt anyone. And when the guardian angel knows it is right, the guardian angel sends the healing to the individual...

Just for today, think about God and Heaven.

Just for today, why not notice the wonder of all that is which surrounds you?

Just for today, enjoy Nature, and take small steps to protect Gaia and her delicate ecosystems.

Just for today, 'be the bigger person' and be an ambassador of Peace to everyone around you in your day.

Just for today, see the wonder, majesty and beauty that you are. I see it clearly! If you would like to borrow my glasses, so you can see it too, I offer them to you...with an outstretched hand...from my heart.

In These Times Of Change

In these times of change it is important to understand the value of what every interaction with another has on your ability to 'rise above the circumstances of the situation' or 'Ascend'.

Further, I assert that every interaction is an example by which others have an opportunity to experience the Higher Realm as it is Present in your Heart Center.

Ascension is a given, yet our 'comfort zone' and our inability to step outside of that as a collective is simply holding us back.  Our travels through space and time in order to arrive at this moment have been hindered by the human heart...

...or perhaps by what remains of the human ego...

How can we as a bevy of Light workers be Present and Participating in the Ascension process?

It is by doing the 'same old same old' interaction with a 'twist', a 'something is different about her or him' that gets others who are not enlightened wondering about what it is you have that has this sudden effect on them.

In a nutshell, is it the Joy and Peace and Greater Understanding that is in our hearts and our minds and our auras that is going to 'flip the switch' and trigger The Event.

When the conditions are correct, it is going to happen in the blink of an eye, and all will be as One in the assistance of each other, the animals, and plants, and seas on Gaia.

When there is One Heart and One Mind and One Body and One Soul as a collective, there is change that cannot be held back--not by anyone or anything that is on or off the planet!

What is change?

The change that is anticipated is the coming of a vibration of Heaven on Earth. This will take place without anyone experiencing death to arrive at this destination. There is no tunnel, no guiding of the angels, no welcoming of the loved ones who have passed beyond into The Other Side.

The Peace and Joy and Fellowship and Connection of everyone to Each Other and to Source shall be apparent to everyone on Gaia.

It will last for as long as one wishes to experience this happiness and Light.

And when the time has come to move on, after a thousand years of 'time' although there is no more of it as we presently understand it, a soul will move up to the Highest Realm and experience unhindered the greater reality of the Highest Realms.

And with each movement that is 'above and beyond' and 'out to the next level of spiritual development', there is great celebration of the life one has 'lived', and the fellowship of 'what remains' is indebted to this Light Worker for everything they have given to our experience together as One.

Love And Positive Energy With Difficult Victorians

There are two places in Victoria that make me feel like this

The most vexing place for me, traveling as a single mom to Canada, is the customs office at YYJ. Three years ago, I didn't know I needed a letter from the father to take my boy to Canada. We had traveled to France and back just fabulous without 'the letter'. I also didn't know I needed to put passport into into the 'system' more than seventy-two hours in advance. 

The male officer couldn't believe I was traveling on my own. He gave me the third degree. 

He must have marked something awful on my 'dossier' because the next year I came back and was treated worse by the female customs agent. I had the letter and I had added the passport information as necessary prior to travel! I was taken aside, frisked vigorously, given a glare and told to go on my way. Even through security on the way back to the states, an alarm went off on my passport, 'Class IV' and I was frisked vigorously once again!

This year I wanted to have it go better. Not only did I bathe myself if 'good vibes' the whole trip and avoid thinking of 'bad memories', I wore my brightest Victoria tee shirt with a huge maple leaf on the chest!

All smiles, we came up to the window. 

'Why are you here?' the customs lady asked,

'To have fun!' we both said, and we pointed to my new camera, 'We even bought a new camera to take great photos of the whales!'

And she waved us through, no questions asked, just as I had hoped.

The Quebequois:

There is a waiter at the hotel restaurant who is French Canadian, from Quebec, who I will call Q.

Q makes every meal miserable. His money-grubbing ways pre-select 'who is a good tipper' in advance. A single mother and son are therefore 'bad tippers' and given more rude service than in the rudest parts of France!

I saw him again three days ago at dinner, and I cringed. But he seemed not to remember us, and was friendly, so I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Last night, he even had a table open for us, the same table we had eater dinner at for the past two nights with reservations. We were both stuffed from too much sweets at the Butchart Gardens at lunch.

He is an excellent waiter. He knows the specials. He can suggest wine well. I know him. But my 'antennae' smelled a 'rat' because tonight he was a little 'too friendly'. We didn't want 'starters'. I ordered the house wine, one glass. My boy loves meat, and wanted the most expensive menu item--the seven ounce steak. I ordered much less. 

Service was adequate. Not great, not horrible. After the meal, my son was still hungry. 'All growing boys are hungry all the time!' said Q, himself a father of three boys who are now in college. It's cheaper here than back in the states--three thousand a year, but still expensive for him, to support them.

The check came. It was over ninety dollars! My jaw dropped! How can that be?

I looked closer--the kid discount was not applied.

What do I do? I asked myself. How do I stand up for myself and yet keep Love the focus and Light with this strange man who is trying to trick us?

Spirit said, Talk to T (the mom server who is our friend).

But T wasn't walking by.

Then I realized, who I am, what I do, I am the customer, and I don't have to pay what this Q wants me to pay just to get a good tip.

So I sat. I didn't sign anything. I just sat there with the check. I sat for twenty minutes, smiling.

Q came up. He asked 'if everything was okay?'

I smiled and stated politely, You know we eat here a lot. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, for all of our stay, for every meal but this, there is a policy that kids eat for half price off the main menu. But not here tonight. Why is this so?

He backed down immediately--my mistake! I forgot! He is under twelve? I will fix it!

Very gently, I added, I would not have been able to afford a good tip for you without this discount. I am so glad you are able to fix it.

I tipped twenty-five percent, just to make a point. On the check, after I signed it, I wrote, See you soon!

Love wins over hate. Every time. But sometimes you have to think about it before it 'works' best. Do I want a meal with Q again? Not really. But will I shun him and support the energy of separation in this time of Awakening and encouraging unity amongst all of us on Gaia? No way Jose <3

Healing Candle 2: Sicilian Orange

The Sicilian Orange candle caught my attention. Mother is Sicilian, and so are her parents and brother. Going to their house while I was growing up was a vacation in itself! There were gardens in the back yard, plentiful food, and unconditional love in great abundance!

I was called special names by my grandparents who were also my godparents:

• Poupeida, which is pronounced poo-pee-duh and means 'doll'
• Bedda, which is pronounced bed-duh and means 'good' and 'beautiful'
• Gioia, which is pronounced  joy-ia and means 'joy'
• ____-uzza, which is my first name and a diminutive 'oot-za' on it
• Cucuzza, which is pronounced coo-coo-tzuh, which is the name of a squash and means 'stupid' but is very close to my Italianized version  of my given name
• bella, which is pronounced 'bell-ah' and means 'beautiful'
• bellisima, which is pronounced 'bell-ee-see-mah' which means 'the most beautfiul'
• queenie, with emphasis on the first syllable and less on the second, Italian-style, but English

Everywhere I turned there was love. And joy. And happiness.

The reason I selected that candle, at first, was to say 'goodbye' to all of the memories at my grandparent's house because it had just sold.

But now, I see the 'flip side' of being Sicilian: you think you are different, possibly even 'better' than everybody else. Imagine the Sicilian in the movie 'The Princess Bride' and you get an exaggerated taste of it. I have never been to Italy. I don't speak Italian. I still carry around all of father's DNA inside of me, even though I never really acknowledged his 'culture' for it was a lot less interesting than mom's side of the family. 

It is time for me to accept, on a deep level, that DNA is just that--DNA. And that being able to 'cook' Italian is a wonderful cultural heritage in itself. I can share our culture through food with others. But the foibles--the secrets, the scheming, the judging of who is 'okay' and who is 'in the doghouse', all of the negativity from my past, including dwelling on happy memories from a very long time ago, are finished.

My heart surgeon in fellowship stopped in the middle of surgery, looked up at me across the drapes, and asked, 'How do I know since you are Sicilian your family is not in the Mafia?'

I paused. I paused a good long time. It was a good question. And then the answer came from my heart center, and I laughed, 'Doctor! That one is easy! We were poor!' 

He thought that was a good answer.

These candles are releasing me from something that we call Tribal Beliefs. They are passed down from generation to generation, as an unwritten 'rule' that has never been questioned. When you find a deep emotional 'tie' to something in your day-to-day life, examine it. And know that you never have to lug that Tribal Belief around with you ever again, if you don't accept it.

The Magic of being Sicilian is being replaced by the Wonder of being One with every living thing on this planet.

It is Time for Looking Within

It is time to look within at the magnificence of your Spirit. How many are looking outside of themselves to discover Truth? It is imagined, this Lack of Truth outside the Self.

If you are in Science, do you look to it for Peace? Is your trust in the development of Technology that, once repeatable positive test results are found on the benchtop, may be scaled up and brought to the masses, thereby 'saving the world'?

If you are in Metaphysics, do you look to it for Understanding? It is a very narrow walk to walk, for, like Science, it is possible to live an entire Lifetime focused on the Mind instead of the Heart. Spirituality, in some contexts, is restrictive to Thought and to Proper Development. For example, the strict Vows of Religious, including Celibacy as in a priest or a nun, where the Soul is developed out of step with the development of the body, according to an external plan that is provided by religion that is organized. For others, such as a Mother Teresa, these Vows are the Gateway to Enlightenment itself!

One thing is clear--both of these worlds can barely talk to each other. There is a mind set, a language that is specialized, and a complete subculture within itself. It is like this for many areas of existence, almost to the laughable stereotypes in High School of Jock, Brain, Popular, Dweeb, Burnout, Druggie, and Loser. Do these groups of students 'reach out' to one another as teenage students at school? No way! When a Jock helps a Nerd, it makes the news! Someone goes against stereotype! There is comfort inside a group, whatever one you are drawn to and immerse yourself in. This applies to the social roles of child, parent, lover, elder, and friend, as well. It is 'who you are' in the context of social structure.

This comfort is False. In lowering Focus from the Mind to the Heart, all of us are the same. And also find that Love is the Solution For Everything. We are born. We die. We laugh, we grow, we have family...there is interdependence on each other in order to experience this life. In order to keep alive on this planet. Although it might seem odd at first, when you stop to think about it, you can bless the Unseen Hand of Others who have made it possible for:

• to drive on a road that is well-maintained and clearly marked
• to buy food instead of having to grow it, or even prepare it
• to wear clothing that is often made by people who work in intolerable conditions
• to have entertainment and fun--so many diversions
• to have all of our bodily wastes removed in sanitation, so there are no more chamber pots
• to have warm and cold water at the twist of a faucet
• to have assistance when illness strikes (both physical and energy healing)
• to acquire books, tools, and training for your Life Work
• to 'connect' on the Internet across Space and Time

The list goes on. There is some Truth to the philosophy 'Everything You Need To Know You Knew in Kindergarten'. That part of you, at that age, was mostly distinguished by your Heart. Your personality is important to the whole, as is your Life Spirit (your Spark of God that is indistinguishably YOU). Everyone has one, this Spark of Light. Although some, you may point out, do unspeakable horrors in this Lifetime, that is because the person or 'entity' in their mind is Separated from their Source. They do not know the consequence of their actions; their soul is damaged in this sense. They are going to be held completely accountable for their deeds, and managed with justice and/or rehabilitation on a Galactic Scale. Do not be concerned about them. Focus on YOU and your part you contribute to all of Creation. We are linked together. Your Heart makes a Difference to all the other Hearts in the world.

Jimmy Stewart, as George Bailey, in the movie, It's a Wonderful Life, is a wonderful example of how this interdependence works in action.

It is with the Heart, that we can connect our many areas of Interest together. We can overcome the 'stereotypes' of Existence, find a common connection, and discover that Spirituality and Science are One. In their own way, each is structured in the search for the betterment of Humanity, and the decrease of Suffering.
