What Was The Highlight Of Your Day?

Mine was making guacamole.

I came home from work, I was hungry. Anthony had eaten the leftover meat and carrot raisin salad from the night before, hours earlier. I had eaten salad with chicken and also the same carrot raisin salad and a banana, and I was starving.

Anthony had taken a big test at school, on the computer of course, but it was a really big one. He was immersed in his video game to relax when I walked in the door.

Instinctively, I took a survey of what was in the kitchen. I saw some chips from our Cinco de Mayo, a little stale but not horrible. I could have crisped them up in the oven. Then I remembered the four avocados in the fridge that were very ripe.

A perfect snack! Guacamole and chips!

So I made it.

I took two large 'toes' of garlic and crushed them, cut up red onion and jalapeño just like in the picture. I chopped up tomatoes from the yard, and juiced a lemon from the yard into it. I added salt and pepper.

I had the vague feeling something was missing but I served it anyway. And we were both very hungry.

It wasn't until later I remembered the cilantro.

It was okay.

Anthony was thrilled to have homemade guacamole.

I was happy to serve it for him.

I can remember the scents, the sensation of chopping and peeling the vegetables. I didn't measure anything.

That was the highlight of my day.

Ross asked me to write about it with you today.

So I am.

It is important for us to re-live and remember the highlight of our day, every day, preferably in writing if this is possible.

He says it will sustain you.

There were other highlights in the day too, talking with friends. We talked twice, face to face, and it was wonderful.

I am an expert in pattern recognition.

.

Everything is working as planned, on schedule, after the little lag we told you to expect.

You can anticipate the peaks being stronger and longer from here on out.

Yes, it is something new. And something very wonderful!

clap! clap!

Aloha and Mahalos,
Namaste,
Peace,

P.S.  On the low points of your day, try not to internalize them. Ask for forgiveness and do a lot of ho'oponopono to yourself. Things are looking up and are going to get better. And for the low parts, Ross says, don't write them. Every day he wants you to write only the best!

P.P.S. This morning before I wrote to you, I did exercise. Stretching at the barre--yes! It's assembled again and in my room! I did strength work. One hundred relevés. And beats (pilates type movements with the legs up when you are on your back, like sit ups with attitude.)...It feels wonderful and I am totally prepared for my day at work after sweating it out a bit. <3  : )))) <3
