The Return To Innocence Portal: The Lessons And The Miracle

This was my picnic tray. Two other ideas failed ahead of this plan! LOL

Lesson Number 1:
The paint-by-numbers tiger I had been 'meaning to get around to doing' for five years? The acrylic paints dried out. They can't be revived.
I had to pitch it.

Lesson Number 2:
The Mary Englebright placemat sewing project I had been 'meaning to get around to doing' for just as long? I couldn't find the pattern and instructions, just the cloth. Someone had apparently tossed it out.
I guess I wasn't going to sew. I wouldn't know how to 'invent' a pattern, even if it is relatively straight…

Lesson Number 3:
Children are not afraid of failure.
They move on to the next thing.
Experts call this trait 'resilience'.
Watch a toddler learning to walk. They fall more times than they 'get it'. But they keep trying. And when they do, they RUN!

This singular ability to 'keep on moving' through whatever obstacles are in our way, and whatever setbacks happen, is a trait that is uniquely Human in all of the galaxies!

This is why our souls carry so much respect with us when we move on to other Assignments.

Our time on Gaia gives us Spiritual 'street credibility'.     ; )

These are the chocolates the faeries asked me to place in the garden for them.

This was very simple--my garden is only a small patch.

This is Aunt Ellie's gift, and I used it for the faeries.
The whales are for the 'extra guest' Spirit said to prepare--it turned out it was a Unicorn who shapeshifted into something human, a 'mystery' guest.

This is my cup. Notice the Forget-Me-Nots. I earned them.

The yoga mat is simple and easy to clean.

These fuchsias are from Nana Angelina.

It is hard to capture their beauty.

This is my favorite tile.

The Faeries are here, to the right of the plant, on the ground.

And here by the cabbage, it's winking at you.
(hint--use your Third Eye to 'see'--faeries are very high vibration--3D eyes don't 'work')

The Miracle:
I was scheduled to work the whole time. I was 'back up call'. GI always has a super huge line-up on Saturdays. I always get called in.

But not yesterday.

That IS a miracle!

P.S. Being a kid doesn't have to be anything fancy or well-planned. You just 'let go' and everything happens in the most perfect possible way. The magic in the picnic was incredible--total conversations with everyone, and much laughter too. Me, Unicorn, Faeries. I learned about their life cycle, their society, and they also had extra advice for me…xoxoxox

P.P.S. If I heard correctly, we made the goal in some sense, and everything is a 'go'. The timing I am not clear about, but the 'friends upstairs' in the clouds seemed very excited at the end of the thirty minutes in the meditation.

Divine Peace Healing In The Garden

This morning I was guided to do the Divine Peace Healing from my back yard.

I was noticing the presence of the faeries as I began. There is a Faerie Queen there, and the entire group is pleased with my new winter plants.

As I connected, a unicorn like this came from the mists to me.

We spoke.

I unburdened my heart; he appreciated the information and will look into the situation.

He also advised, 'Sometimes the most difficult situations, once resolved, are the ones that bring the most joy.'

He also let me know there were many unicorns present at this time (I saw them lined up as far as the eye can see about ten steps behind him) and they want to 'make things right' for those of us who are living on Gaia now.

Humbled, I said, 'You can eat my plants!' and gestured to the garden. 'That is, if this is what unicorns like to eat.'

I was right. Unicorns didn't like to eat herbs. They eat light. Right out of your hand like at a petting zoo with those little green pellets. Only the Light comes from your hand directly, and you don't have to put any quarters in a machine or pay some person for it like you do the food they have at those 'farms'.

So I offered my hand to him and he ate.

Unicorns are very reserved and strong spiritually. But they care and you can 'sense' that very readily. They don't like anyone taking advantage of another in any way; this makes them concerned and want to intervene on one's behalf.

He showed me my true form. And encouraged me to share it with another (in Spirit). I did. I was embarrassed. I watched the other recognize my form, and then get puzzled by the Divine Peace Healing steps I usually do when I am like me now. The other person figured it out. I was like, 'yes, this is what I am…' I had no idea how he would take it. There was a pause, and we looked each others' eyes for the longest time. Then all of a sudden, he threw his arms around my neck, squeezed me tight, and shared was very glad to discover my Truth. More glad than I would have expected.

Yesterday I saw His True Form. I totally was okay with it, and accepted it. It is not the same as mine. But that we each have a 'different form that is a spiritual entity' means that we are of similar Vibration. Friendship can happen on another Level when people are of 'close enough' harmonic frequencies in this range.

All the Divine Peace Healing was sent to each of you, just like usual. The Reiki Healing too.

As an aside, the Guides are extremely quiet right now. This happens when there is a lot of 'work' going on in Spirit. It was this way in December 2012. Even Usui-sensei has been quiet for about three days. He's always around otherwise. I don't know more what this means but I thought I should mention it.

The Widow And The Shoemaker

There is a widow who lives in a castle. We were lifting each other up to peer over the fence. The german shepard came barking at us. Guess what she did? She kindly came out and gave us a tour!

There was a chicken that was healthy, many old historic buildings and equipment, and a 'source' of water that had once been enjoyed by Joan of Arc (Jeanne D'Arc) and her horse!  But the most amazing thing was how she treated my boy after he got stung with nettles. I had told him to ignore it, because there was nothing to do. She instructed us to take the leaf of another plant that was under our feet and rub it on the nettles. I did it and it helped, but she knelt down and showed us how to crush the leaf to get more juice and rub it.  It felt better instantly!

These are wooden shoes, or 'sabots'. They were in the widow's historical collection. I know someone who made them. He is eighty-five years old and is a shoemaker. He worked day and night to raise four children and pay for the education of the youngest two. They lived in a small house until he had a long hospitalization and extensive surgery for tuberculosis. After that, the family always lived in a small apartment, and he kept making shoes.

This is the sewing machine for the shoes

These are the wooden forms for making the shoes

The tool on the left is for holding the shoe for hammering the heel, the middle is for making holes for the shoelaces to go through

Here is an example of his work

Although this tool is for putting design into leather, feel the energy of the hand. You won't see the hand of a master craftsman like this for a long time. Or feel the energy.

Here are sold old tools, and again, feel the energy of this hand

The clarity of mind, the force of spirit, the connection to the land and to his trade of this man was remarkable. Did you know that in apartments in France, if any building is over five stories tall (one rez de chausse and four living floors) there has to be an elevator? Well, the shoemaker lives on the second floor. He has to climb up and down one flight to floor one and another to his floor every day! Can you imagine moving day on those stairs??? Anyhow, he stopped riding his bike ('velo') five years ago at eighty. And he still works his garden. I went there yesterday and after we picked fruits and vegetables, we had crepes under a shade at a table. I felt like the Renoir painting, 'Luncheon of the Boating Party'!

This is just one small bed of the large garden that has two shacks, a pump, a toilet, a kitchen, and a bedroom. He says they live there three months out of the year! All of the growing plants are watered by hand, either from collected rainwater or the pump that pumps by hand.

I noticed a theme with him. Look at this land (as we drove by), it used to be farmed. Now it is vacant. The young people are really missing out!

I agree. He is accustomed to hard physical work, and as a result he is in the best shape, physically and mentally, I have ever seen for someone his age. His doctor says although he has health problems, let him garden. His children often come to assist. But the vitality and joy of living? It was off the scales compared to those I work with in the hospital. I had to take note of it and share it with you.

This is the neighbor's garden. There is a waiting list for the garden space. It is rented annually for a very low price. I have eaten the tomatoes and cucumber from this garden the whole trip in France. If you haven't grown anything, you might want to give it a try. It's fun!

It is also a way to connect to others who enjoy plants. I have always been around a garden due to my mother's side of the family. I know all of the plants by sight, and know the names in Italian, English, and now, French.

The Healing in the Garden

This is a thought-picture from me to you. Above is a Sicilian Market. This story is in honor of my mother, who underwent life-saving surgery today. She came over from Sicily on a boat at age twelve.

At the VA where I trained, as an intern, I went out for a walk on the grounds when I was on call. Much to my delight, I discovered a garden. It was run by the department of psychiatry as a healing garden for the psychiatric patients. They worked in the garden, and they healed the very deep wounds that they had inside. The produce was sold on Wednesdays, and anyone that worked at the medical center could purchase it. They sold anything from potted plants to produce, and although it was scary to go up to the patients sometimes and buy it, it was a win-win for everyone involved.

I spent a lot of time in that garden. When I was on call for General Surgery, I could not go to my house. I had to stay and work for twenty-four hours. I found that picking some flowers with my trauma shears and arranging them in a styrofoam cup in my call room made the day that I spent in the service of my fellow man more palatable.  I found beauty to counterbalance the harsh images of disease and suffering that I was exposed to throughout the night and day.

I also found the fruit! Italians believe it is a sin to waste fruit, and it is not stealing when one helps themselves to the bounty on the tree, just for eating purposes for yourself. I ignored the signs and helped myself to plums and apricots and apples, if only for a taste of joy under the blue sky outside the hospital.

There was a gazebo, a fountain with a little waterway, and Nature, lots and lots of Nature. And colorful flowers, as you know. Sometimes I picked roses, sometimes daisies, sometimes sweet peas that smelled wonderful...my co-interns always gave me a hard time about the flowers. I didn't care--they didn't understand how I was nourishing myself, my spirit, and my healer's heart.

The home that I grew up in is only fifteen minutes away from the VA. I took mother to the garden one time on my day off. Mother can spot a fruit tree on the side of the road in a car that is going seventy-miles an hour and tell you what kind of tree it is. Even if there is no fruit on it. She admired the garden, and many times we came back. She met the master gardener, who was Italian, and he blessed our visits and encouraged us to taste the fruit.

One tree got mother a little excited--Chezzu--It was a tree with leaves like apricot leaves, but small red mulberry-like fruit that really stain your hand red when you eat them. She had them last as a little girl back in Sicily. She showed me how to eat them and they were very good! A combination of sweet and tart like I had never experienced. And best of all was the connection to our heritage of orchards back home.

Several times I went while I was working to eat them. They were in season a short time, but I knew where they were and when. The only catch was to make sure I washed my hands a lot because otherwise it would look like I had blood on them!

On the way home from the hospital tonight, on the long drive, I realized the healing power and the beauty of the garden is this: the Love that is put into it by the gardeners.

Love heals. A garden is a depository of this Love and Caring that is available to all who experience it.

Love is the Solution For Everything, wouldn't you agree?

(with deepest Love and Gratitude for everyone who sent healing energy, Reiki, Love and Light to mother and the family on this very long day.)

The Garden

I grow a stubborn garden. It was inspired by the beautiful gardens of Villandry in France.  It was also inspired by my Italian grandparents who had orchards and gardens for as long as I can remember.

My garden is only a 12 x 12 foot plot I hacked out of the shrubbery adjacent to my back yard cement patio. I put a little fence around it, the kind you buy in two foot sections at the gardening section of the hardware store and it about one foot tall.  The soil is clay. There is not much light. I can grow tomatoes and chard, but I have attempted radishes, turnips, lettuce, blackberries, blueberries, carrots, pineapples, celery, brussels sprouts, cabbages, and arugula. Even the flowers I tried to grow withered. For eight years I have been at it, pulling weeds and planting seeds and talking to them to grow. (I give Reiki too)

The garden is also where I compost all of the non-meat and non-dairy wastes from my kitchen. I compost French style, with a hole in the ground. Actually three--a fresh one, an older one, and the oldest which has the fresh composted material.  I have composted my Christmas tree, any clippings from the front yard (which grows lovely flowers), egg cartons, and shredded paper. And always the coffee grounds, too.

One day, while working in the garden, I asked with my heart, 'Gaia? What can I do for you to help you heal from all of this pollution?'

The answer nearly knocked me over! 'You have done more to help me with this garden than anything else you could ever do.' There was an intelligence and a presence to that response that was strong and steady. 'Okay then' I answered, and I set about my work, thinking that Gaia likes fat nightcrawlers and beetles, the ones who compost the food.

Sometimes I get backed up, and I put small plastic buckets of food wastes out on the patio until I can put them into the compost piles. Sometimes when I am busy there can  be like, eight small buckets until the weekend. Something appears to show an interest in these buckets, and it is not a rat but I am not sure what. (there is no poop around the buckets).

On New Year's Eve, I learned who it was:
I did not know they could live in the neighborhood!

So even if it is only a hummingbird feeder (I have those too), a fountain (the birds like the water), a bird feeder (had one in medical school), or a compost pile, little lives can depend on your lovingkindness.
Start helping Gaia today. Just ask. She'll listen. And you might be surprised at Her reply.
