Misperception-opoly

Times have changed!

In the past, the women like the mother in Gone With The Wind--the Civil War Plantation mother of Scarlett O'Hara, or the mother of Corrie Ten Boom in pre-war Holland--these were the main sources of charity and social support. They made soups and breads and took them to 'the poor'. They helped the sick. When there was a death in the family they worked hard to bring material and emotional and spiritual support to the bereaved.

Somewhere along the line, women have been taken 'outside the home'--even though now perhaps with the 'stay at home order' things are a little different....but the liberty for women to work to ease the suffering and decide how to use their time is long since passed. It's the 'government' that's supposed to 'take care of everything'.

Unfortunately, 'government' relief requires extensive applications to receive it. And there's some bureaucracy along the line to decide who gets what and who does not. And with bureaucracy there's always room hand in hand for a little corruption.

A pastor I respect an admire, one who works in the third world predominately, spoke up about the lie of 'abundance philosophy' and 'the law of attraction'. Here we are in first world countries, trying to 'get ahead any way we can'...spiritual efforts to help make the material world a little easier and more comfortable included. He boldly states that in most parts of the world, 'having two shirts, a well, and a sturdy hut' is a sign that things are going well financially in seventy five percent of the population on Earth. These people with so little don't even think they are poor. If you want to know what a 'bad hut' is like think Slumdog Millionaire.

Which brings me to the next point--people who have survived Communist countries. There is a survivor from North Korea on youTube, I've shared her videos. She said what made her leave is that she was always starving, she and her family. She used to think that Heaven is a place where you can have all the bread you want to eat. She was adult and weighed like sixty pounds. A surgeon I know defected from Russia. At the beginning as an adult he was given 'free housing'--thirty people to one apartment, one bathroom, one kitchen--and nobody was picked by choice it was imposed upon them. One of those high rise government buildings. He too was 'always starving'.

He explained how during the Cold War it wasn't bombs that the communists shot at the democratic parts of the world. It was infiltrators to do subversion--to get the college teachers to say 'everything is fair' and 'wonderful' in their regimes. It's 'not so bad'.

Well, once his ice skating skills were noticed, part of the psychological war with the free world, is to show how the Soviets win all the olympic medals in a clean sweep. It was THEN he started to get the coupons and vouchers for restaurants, so he could eat well and prosper in his sport.

There was a soldier, high ranking, who also defected like my surgeon. He had to take all the people who disagreed and didn't want to become communist, out to a remote town, they dug a big hole, stood everyone up, and shot every man, woman and child who didn't support the communist system. When the soldier saw this waste of life, this useless tragedy, he said, 'f-ck that!' and defected to the free world the first chance he could get.

The surgeon says that bee ellem and Auntie Fah are totally communist and that those who believe them are so convinced that even if you show them videos and actual proof they still will not believe it. He says the only thing that will make them understand is a 'military boot to kick them in the ass'--which he says is coming soon to follow, by the way he sees things.

I feel sad for him because he escaped and now he's here and it's coming after him. He used to make four or five thousand dollars a total hip replacement back in the day. They used to also pay one thousand dollars for an assistant. But now, he only gets seven hundred fifty dollars (this is for all care--pre-op, surgery, hospital, and after care) and they don't pay any assistant. He must do many cases in one day to make what he used to make for one case.

He says back in Russia, the old Soviet Union, if you didn't work you were thrown in jail, and there you had to work anyway. You could be sick but only for six months. And then you had to work, or else. There was no disability like we have here, and definitely no welfare or SSI.

Meanwhile, here in the free world, the middle class has to struggle to make ends meet. He talks about that too, how everyone is struggling to pay their bills, and this is no accident. It's designed to make people welcome the 'new system' of communism...to embrace it.

The whole thing goes round and round like the paths on a game board, where all the beliefs and philosophies are 'tweaked' by the system, and no one can win. Under our noses everything has been changed and twisted in the most diabolical of ways.

Pray.

In the end times,  a loaf of bread will buy a bag of gold.

I'm not saving gold.

I'm looking for ways to have the bread.

I prepare WAY in advance.

Last night, as I was falling asleep, I thanked Ross and Creator, 'thank you for my bed. I have always had a bed. I am so grateful for a safe place to rest at night. Thank you.'

Increase the gratitude.

Look for the lies and when you can, provide spiritual and material comfort to those who are without. Yes, charities exist but along with them much lies and hiding of money to people who run them. Keep it local and with people you know. Because giving money to one needy cause elsewhere doesn't get you 'off the hook' for those where you live.

Many of the homeless have mental health issues. Some have killed tourists on the Venice Beach pier. I read an article in the Epo-CH Times yesterday about the 'homeless industry'. The billion dollars voted by California voters has had thirty percent of the fund designated to 'solve the problem' eaten up by 'soft costs' such as planning and design and studies. She says that the people who do this kind of construction don't want to be without a job so they aren't going to fix the problem. There's a big homeless tent from the government blocks away from her, but no one wants to live in it because there is a rule you can't do drugs. So the property has small private tents outside the big one, and if people live there a little and in the big tent a little, it's considered a 'solution' by the measurement systems of 'helping poverty'.

Pray.

Pray for all this madness to end.

Pray for those who are struggling.

Help those you know who are struggling, as best as you can, and trust that God will provide both you and others. Don't test God. But look for the surprise, last-minute blessings that come your way.

I went to the store yesterday to buy chicken wings to prepare for the Superb Owl for Anthony. He likes them buffalo style with Franks Hots sauce. But we got other meat that was thirty to fifty percent off. That was our blessing from God, affordable meats that last a long time. I froze the chicken and tonight we have the spiral ham. I struggle to make my own payroll with the Covid restrictions. They are starting to let up. We are down to half the patients we had at the peak. So work will come back. My paychecks are three months behind due to insurance billing protocol. So the next three months will be very tight. Nobody would ever guess it, but it's true. Insurance costs and operating expenses don't give small businesses a 'holiday'. LOL

time to get to work.

Ross is here, he says good things are ahead, not to worry or feel guilty, but to 'thoroughly examine the status quo' and 'compare and contrast it to the Divine Plan Creator has for all of us'.

clap! clap!

Aloha and Mahalos,

Namaste,

Peace,
