Your Connection To Source--Why Not Plug In A Little Better?

As you may know, I am a working anesthesiologist. I take care of anywhere from two to ten people a day. I do whatever anesthesia the surgeon requests for their cases--general, regional, local with sedation (this is called a MAC for Monitored Anesthesia Care). I am trained to do anesthesia for cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery; it is my specialty--I took an extra year of training, a 'fellowship' to be able to do this.

While surgeons work, and integral part of the team is the operating room table. The height of it often needs to be adjusted. It tilts side to side, and also I can make the head of the table tilt way up or way down. For example, in a routine laparoscopic cholecystectomy, which many of you may have experienced, the table is head up and I am asked to roll the patient's left side down to gain maximum exposure (view) of the gallbladder.

I have worked with OR tables the length of my career. There are some you used to have to push a lever and pump up and down on a pedal with your foot to make it go up!

Fortunately now, most OR tables are powered by electricity. There is a 'remote' that is attached by a wire, and has little buttons with pictures on it to help me know which way the table will move when I press them.

I know draw your attention to the metal flap that is covering the cord in the middle of the photo.

This is where the plug attaches to the table.

It often comes loose, or unplugged entirely, in routine preparation for the O.R. The cleaning crew moves the table to clean under it, and it doesn't matter to them if it gets plugged or not.

They are busy to the point of distraction, so 'clean is enough' and not 'putting everything back the way you found it--in working order.'

So I have to watch out for this little plug here just as I do with the health and safety of my patient to make sure the procedure goes well, and runs smoothly. (I also must check in every case to make sure the bed is 'locked' and won't move when someone pushes on it.)

Sometimes I push a slightly loose plug with my toe to jam it in a little further.

Sometimes I bend down and adjust the plug in better when it is looser.

Sometimes I get down on my hands and knees and search through all the cords to find the missing end of it, the part that fits under that flap. When I look down there is nothing there and I have to find it!

Sometimes the surgeons are patient while I hunt for it--I can find it usually and fix it in less than a minute.

Sometimes they are not patient and complain. Then there is a set of buttons that are directly under the table that the nurse can get on her hands and knees and press, and those always work--I think there is some battery or something there that makes it 'go'.

So where are you in all this?

Your body is the OR table and Spirit is the plug. Your life and everything you wish to accomplish, all your hopes and dreams, are empowered by having a working connection to Source.

Without it, the whole experience isn't going to happen as smoothly as it was designed to occur.

So, just for today, think about your Connection to Source, to All The Power There Is In The Universe.

Do what you can to strengthen it. Just like a bird that goes and takes a drink from the birdbath, your Spirit knows exactly what to do if you let it free. Your heart knows. Although you may not understand it at first, give it time, and then everything will all make sense and you will smile like the Velveteen Rabbit because you will know that Love Is The Solution For Everything, PLUS, You are Perfect and Loved, just the way you are.

All you have to do is accept it.

And all the 'juice' from that cord is going to 'attach' in the healthiest possible way, and you shall be empowered as you never have been for your destiny, your mission, your gift you share with the Universe just by being yourself, and doing what you always wished in your heart to be able to do 'one day'.

That moment is Here, Now.

Will you try it? Just for today?

Love Is The Solution For Everything

Please look carefully at the photo of this child kissing its 'baby'.

There is an energy to it.

I want you to feel it.

It is the energy of Unconditional Love.

Love is the Strongest Force in the Universe that exists.

Love is stronger than hate.

Love is stronger than death.

Love is stronger than loneliness.

Are you ready? Let's move on together...  you have the power to create your life...

Love Yourself:

  • You are flesh and blood that is combined with Spirit. Honor this connection to Source.
  • Honoring spirit requires quiet time relaxing in nature and doing something you enjoy, even just for fifteen to twenty minutes. (Surprisingly, some of my most 'spiritual' time is my commute to and from work each day. I turn off the music in the car, and pray.)
  • Your heart has a 'mind' of its own--it is a direct 'connection' to Source/Creator/The Divine. It's not very loud at first. This is why we honor spirit in quiet time.
  • Think good thoughts--here is an example of the daily thinking Masaru Emoto does. Please note he gives thanks for things he wants to have happen in the past tense. This is not because of the Japanese language. This is because Masaru Emoto knows it is a powerful spiritual tool, to pray for what one wishes to experience in the past tense:   When I wake up in the morning I sit up and I settle down. Then I gaze at a glass of water pre-placed at my bedside. For about thirty seconds I verbalize my gratitude by saying 'I thank you, and I ask you for a nice day today.' Then I drink half the water. Next I think about what I need to do during the day. With the feeling of success that I imagine upon completing each task, I say to the water, 'Everything went well and I thank you." Then I drink the remaining water. By doing so  good information is sent not only to the water but to the moisture in the surrounding air.  It is possible to resonate with both the water in the glass and the moisture in the air. I get up and I go to the bathroom. After relieving myself, I say 'thank you' to the flushing water with my feeling of gratitude.  I then take a shower. The shower water includes chlorine, and it is not good for the skin. Love and gratitude is necessary to improve its hado (energy in the water). This is especially important for those who have skin problems and might not be able to install a shower filter. It is a good idea to tape the words 'thank you' and 'love and gratitude' on the wall of the shower room to improve the hado of the water.  When I have some time in the morning, I try to go for  a walk. Basking in the morning sun brightens my heart. While I walk leisurely, I think of positive things.
  • Exercise strengthens the aura. Light, gentle movement is enough. Try to get some activity in your schedule every day. If you are busy  like me, park your car farther from the entrance to the store. Don't take the elevator, take the stairs. Stretch in your work day. And do what you love to do--for movement--when you have the time.
  • Certain things weaken the aura. Educate yourself about them. Some topics are high fructose corn syrup, conventionally grown food, and GMO. Others are more easy to understand, but take a life change--hard alcohol, recreational drugs, tobacco, gambling, loud music, violent entertainment, and gossip have an energy-weakening effect.
  • A weak aura is prone to illness and negative energy attachments. (this is a subject of another blog post, you may look it up using the search box.)
  • If you have been denying yourself something you want, find a way to give it to yourself. Being self-sacrificing is not healthy for you in any way. Love Yourself First.

Love Others:
Aren't these two bears simply adorable? That is how you look to Source--simply incredible and full of love and joy and creative energy from Source. Source cannot love another more than you!

This is because we are One--all of us are connected to Creator. Some might have it be more easy to see than others, that is sure! Sometimes I look at their behavior and ask myself, 'what are they thinking?' We do not become a doormat or a pushover when we acknowledge our common 'spirit' that we have in one another; instead, we refocus our gaze to look past all the 'not so great' behaviors to the core of 'source', and respecting both parties'  common connection to Source, we then act from this 'perspective'.

Every individual you meet is actually a mirror of some part of YOU. It will help you see what kind of energy you are sending out, and how your personality is. They are your Teachers.

In a way they are giving you a wonderful gift by being Present with you just the way they are; it gives you a choice on how to interpret that 'lesson' and incorporate it into your daily life.

You in turn, are a Teacher to them.

Gather Together For Strength:

Have you ever seen an old couple who were getting up in years? His hearing wasn't so good...and her eyes were terrible! Together, they helped each other make up for their weaknesses. He helped her to see, and she helped him when he couldn't hear.

When we gather with like-minded people, our spiritual ability increases. Our auras strengthen. And we share our 'pieces of the puzzle' in the big picture of Life by being exactly who and what kind of person we are! It can be over a cup of coffee. It can be with friends to take a hike or enjoy some aura-increasing activity.

What is recommended at this time by The Resistance Movement is to meet with the same group of people, be it a large group or a small one, every Sunday to share the meditation for the Weekly Liberation Meditation. Together, our energies combine and increase the energy of Gaia for the better!

These meetings should be in person, if possible, and do not need to be long in duration. Together you will create a support system for each other for the time of The Event. (when Gaia gets restored deeply and completely).

Look to the top right hand corner 'count down' for the meditation. I do the YouTube one, which is called Meditation number two. http://2012portal.blogspot.com

An Energetic Look at The Dying Process

Last night I helped a mouse die. (It was a feeder mouse that had been boarding with three other mice for six weeks since the snake has not wanted to eat.)

I saw it with its head over the edge of the shelf in the cage, eyes not seeing, with agonal respirations. Agonal breathing is the gasping breaths of the dying process. There is a characteristic head bob at the end of the inspiratory phase with each breath. I have seen intubated Trauma patients do this in the OR. It is not good.

I called my son to take a look at it and learn. He had no interest. The other mice were running on the wheel, oblivious to the plight of the one that was near death. I did not want for it to die alone. And I wanted to let it die in peace.

It took a header off the shelf and scurried to the corner of the cage farthest from the wheel. Since I had to clean the cage any way, I opened the lid in a larger container, scooted out the healthy ones, and gently placed the dying one in an old strawberry carton filled with lots of soft toilet paper.

As I worked on the cage, I would jiggle the box a bit, to see if it was dead. There were reflexes, startle ones. And in about twenty minutes, it was gone. I still am not sure if it was a girl or a boy. But I wrapped it in leaves and flowers, and buried it in the garden under a stepping stone.

I have seen death countless times. The way I see it, the one thing you can count on, is the fact that if you were born, you will die. I have lived my life trying to be ready every day, just in case, not going to bed without peace after an argument, etc. etc.

How about you? Are you afraid of death? What I want is for you to understand what happens in death, enough for you to be knowledgeable about it with your loved ones.

Death is a process in which your vital organs progressively shut down, and cease to function. In the OR, a  progressive acidosis (a lowering of pH of the blood and tissues) is a grave sign. What happens is that all of the enzymes that catalyze biological function only work within a narrow range of acid-base balance in the body. The more severe the acidosis, the less compatible that pH is with life.

The myocardium gets irritable and gets extra beats. As the heart dies, the QRS complexes widen on the EKG. The rate slows, and it too becomes agonal. Then there is a time of ventricular fibrillation (the heart is like a bag of worms), and then it goes electrically silent.

What I know, that other people in the hospital don't, is that the chakras slow to a stop, and then they disappear. That is right, there are no chakras in a corpse. The column of Light through the top of the head connecting to Source is gone. So is the body heat.

It feels like a jumping out when a patient passes in my presence. Next thing I know, they are outside, looking healthy, and excited to be talking to me. They are kind of translucent, but want my attention! And are right next to the corpse. Ninety-nine times out of a hundred they are very pleased with themselves for having made it through the dying process intact. All communication is telepathic, but I see them like I did in life.

It is said that during the dying process, the soul goes back and forth between both worlds. My father started having dreams about his parents the days leading up to his death. They were peaceful dreams, and he was happy to finally be having some psychic experiences himself. But mother knew that those dreams were portents of death. I felt him going back and forth between his body and The Other Side, and could talk to him in both places telepathically. It wasn't until mother said he could let go that he left.
(I saw the whole thing, and Heaven's Gate, and I wrote a blog about it some time ago.)

The departed stick around for a few days, usually for the funeral. And then they go on to Other Work. Everyone has a job to do in Heaven! It is not lying around on a bunch of clouds. The work is actually harder there, because there are no nights and weekends off. Only two week's vacation a year. My grandfather usually comes to visit with us, and stay around.  His job keeps him all over the globe, in a diplomatic function.

Some people say that we go where they are when we sleep. That our astral bodies travel.

I like to think of it like the White Swan and the Black Swan in the Ballet, Swan Lake. Humans by day, and swans by night. Which is the true reality?

The Toltecs say our waking awareness is The Ilusion. And that our True Selves are something far different from this.

If someone you know is dying, take the time to be at their side. No one should have to die alone. No one should have to suffer shortness of breath at the end (morphine or dilaudid is given to control that).

It is the highest gift that one can give in a relationship.
