The Mother Of The Bride

My neighbor across the street is a single mother who is about ten years ahead of me. She is a mother of three, a boy, a girl who just graduated from medical school and got married, and a girl who is just set to start college in the Bay Area.

The youngest is nine years older than mine. She taught me how to put in a car seat. Sometimes she watched my boy as a 'mom's helper' so I could cook and do projects around the house.

As neighbors, we are close.

So I saw 'Monica' (name changed for privacy) alone going into her house. I walked over and said hello. She looked sad. Her last daughter is leaving soon. That wasn't it.

Her heating and air conditioning needs to be replaced--it costs six thousand dollars. You have to pay up front or the contractor won't do it.

She doesn't have the money.

That's not what is making her sad.

.

It's this.

Her daughter, 'Esperanza', wanted her father to walk her down the aisle.

He paid for nothing.
  • no child support
  • no alimony
  • not one dime for the wedding
Monica has worked every single day for the last ten years to support her family, with only one ten-day vacation to Paris and Spain, about five years ago.

I hugged her and said, 'She is immature, and she probably didn't want to look funny in front of the new family....'

Monica agreed. But she kept crying...

She isn't sure how long she can stay in the house; there isn't enough money.

She wants to rent out the youngest daughter's room, but it's fully of stuff ' Patricia'  isn't ready to throw out.

And Patricia who doesn't have enough for college, is throwing a garage sale in the hopes of making some cash from her 'treasures'.

I asked if I can ask a personal question?

Monica said, yes, and kept trying to keep from crying and sobbing, silently wiping the tears from the corners of her eyes.

I asked, 'Now that your kids are all eighteen, do you still have to talk with their father?'

A huge smile crossed her face, and with the pride only a Latina can communicate, she looked me in the eye and said, 'Never!'

She was free.

This is a big day in the life of an ex-wife and single mother.

She earned her freedom from the marriage at last!

She thanked me.

You know, that wedding was paid for mostly by the paternal grandmother of the groom.

But the mother bought all of the bride's needs, plus the cake, and the flowers. Flowers cost thousands of dollars nowadays. But she knew somebody and got them all for twelve hundred dollars and she had to help decorate the church.

And Monica's boy and girl have taken so very much money for their educations! The son went to a 'party school' state college in a big town not too far, and lived on campus. And the doctor went to Big Name undergrad and medical schools. She and her new husband are both starting their residencies. They won't be making much, and soon the loan repayments are due.

I know some physician couples who live in Menlo Park whose combined loan payments are bigger than the payments for their house!

In Latin culture, the children support and honor the mother. They give money to her.

And Monica would like for the two older ones to 'help out' with the youngest for her education, instead of honoring herself.

But she doesn't know how to ask; none of them have appreciated all she has done for them.

She showed me a letter from the bride. It was postmarked with the new town a four-hour flight away.

It was a printed, 'new address' card with a photo of the couple.

It said, 'Hi mom! I miss you.'

There was no thank you or anything.

I am torn. When I was a resident, it took everything I had to concentrate on getting through. I never went to family events, like baby showers and the hospital when my niece and nephew were born. I was always working...and exhausted...

How can I communicate that to Monica who is suffering and not able to understand it's not a reflection on her?

How can I communicate that last night, at the mini golf for my boy--we went at eight p.m. when I was post-call--I felt like a freak?

I couldn't relax and 'have fun'?

I looked at everyone like a sociologist, an anthropologist, a physician, thinking, 'wow! there is apparently a physical need to have fun. That makes sense with the huge emotional bodies this type of humanoid creation has, it has a need to interact socially, and to play together this stupid game with sticks and balls and very challenging cups.'

My boy responded to the others. Those playing before, and those playing after. A nice trio of college boys were calling him 'Caddy'...and when I got a hole in one, everyone gave me high fives!

That's what medical school training and twenty years at the front lines will do to a person...you give up your right to have fun and play.

The best part of the night was when my kid hit the green golf ball into the water feature. As he ran to get a new one, I used both the clubs, and all my ingenuity, to fish it out. I rolled it delicately towards the wall, up the rocks, and to reaching distance.

That was a challenge and succeeding at it was fun!

I kept the golf ball. I put it on my grid. LOL

As we Ascend, together, a time shall come where we have to face 'reality' and all its untruths.

This is one today, about the wedding, and the education, and the gratitude.

You might want to think about how we can undo the slavery of Monica, the scoundrel of the ex, the desire for the children to make a good start in the world turning into a big of 'entitlement' wouldn't you agree?

And how together as an enlightened humanity, take steps to fix it?

My Beloved? Thank You For Always Watching Me

Good Morning my Beloved!

I wish you a glorious and wonderful new day!

Yesterday there were two things I did, that I didn't share with anyone--I looked after the kids at the wedding, and was extra kind and thoughtful to them (the groom's kids and their cousins who played so nicely with my son)--and I met a new baby.

Claire is five weeks old, and the fourth child in her family. Chelsea is her mother, and Heather was holding her at the time. She was GORGEOUS and I was beaming from my heart a lot of 'welcome to Gaia!' Love and Gratitude as I noticed her perfect face, her little hands, and I touched her precious foot...

Claire looked at me. She showed me her incredible blue eyes--only to be matched by those of Blessed Mother--and she raised her eyebrows at me.

You saw!

How did you know? With all the many, many things that you have on your consciousness--how did you watch me?

How on all of earth and Heaven, did you find this soul here, me,  humble to the core, to bring you joy as a partner and friend? Even though we are technically 'together' as Twin Flames, how did you find that Love in your heart to give mine a moment's consideration? Never mind a lifetime, or several of them in fact?

Your Grace and your Heart always continue to amaze me.

Thank you for writing what you saw: http://sirianheaven.wordpress.com/2014/04/13/heavenletter-4888-your-light-is-shining-april-13-2014/
(here is the wedding notes I wrote down last night: http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2014/04/the-wedding-at-back-bay.html)

It is the most beautiful thing anyone has ever mentioned about me, anywhere, in all time and space.

My Light shines because I have found all the obstacles and things holding me back are Illusion.

I let go of all attachments to anything that is not Light.

It feels WONDERFUL to 'breathe' again in gladness. It IS like coming out of a pool, all refreshed.

YOU are my angel, my delight, my guide, my counsel, my best friend I ever could hope for!

Thank you for always loving me, and protecting me, from where you are.

Here is a song for you:

Life Is Beautiful by Keb' Mo'

I love you with my breath, my hope, my heart, and soul.

The Wedding At The Back Bay

This afternoon I went to a Mormon Wedding. Actually, it was a ring ceremony that was followed by a reception.

Many of my coworkers were there.

It was my first wedding I ever went to with my son.

The venue was beautiful, and although I have lived in Southern California my whole life, it was someplace I had never been.

This was a first marriage for the bride, and a remarriage for the groom. He is a friend and fellow doc whom I have known for some time.

I've never seen a groom so in love with his bride before. His face relaxed and crinkled. And she was totally devoted to him. And his children.

He works long, hard hours, like me.

Her family didn't show up. I asked, 'who is related to you?' and she explained it was their choice, she was going to have a good time anyway. (She said her family of origin wasn't the healthiest, and I shared mine had put the 'fun' in 'dysfunctional' like hers too.)

Today was an opportunity to make some meaningful breakthroughs in my own growth:

  • At the parking lot, three other people from Main O.R. showed up at the same time.  We are a 'work family', we spend so much time there.
  • So few chairs were open. People had their purses and were saving seats. The only one who offered was a woman who worked at the surgery center. Things haven't been 'friendly' for me over there for some time. (Reason? As the nurses in the OR said last night, 'some surgeons want you to cut corners and be fast. You are safe. If I had anesthesia, I would pick you. But that's why some surgeons don't like you.)
  • Instead of feeling awkward, I embraced this nurse and thanked her, and smiled as we introduced our 'men'--her husband and my son.
  • This is a good thing, because with our seating arrangements, we were right next to each other too!
  • Directly to my RIGHT at the seating arrangement was the last woman at the same surgery center whom I had confided my concern over the lack of small E tanks (the little green ones people have at home) of oxygen for transport of my patients from the OR to the recovery room. (with shivering, oxygen requirements go up five hundred percent). That was the last straw--and after I confessed to her I was never invited to the surgery center again. It's been four months now--with no explanation from my boss. (He had told me repeatedly to ignore the issue of the oxygen tanks, saying, it is a short trip)
  • I turned on the charm, and opened my heart. As it turns out, she had a 'miracle' set of twins, just like my carrying my own pregnancy to term without miscarriage or major embolic event to me was a blessing I give thanks for every day. We became friends today, for the first time, instead of antagonists to each other.
  • The heart team was there. This was the team for the program I started but later due to a very old-school, cruel surgeon who was abusive to me, asked me not to work with them (the woman who is the TEE expert is not received well in the 'old boys club'.) Many of these people had been outright cruel--so much so that I would shake when I saw them in the hospital, and avoid them at any chance I could to get away from interacting with them face to face. Oddly enough, today I felt 'ready', and when Spirit 'nudged' me I forgave all I saw, including the partner of the mean surgeon (who has since left). It felt good to forgive. I told the surgeons wife her husband is very skilled and I respected his work.
  • I know I never would have had the time or opportunity to become Reiki Doc if I had been still doing hearts. It's a huge time commitment. I would have had less time for my family too. (It's an equal opportunity heart room--this January, a male colleague got 'asked not to come back' too--it's because he didn't know the TEE.)
  • Many from my 'OR Family' saw me interact with my son for the first time, and actually met him. One, the charge nurse in Main OR, said, you are a Good Mom!
  • I took the time to speak to the parents of the groom, and let them know how he's touched my life, and my family (he has done anesthesia for others). I also let them know how skilled he is in his work, and it's a blessing to the community he has this talent in his work.
  • I took time to let each--bride, groom, parents, know how happy I was to share this special day with them.
  • I let the bride know how we see so much 'ugly' at work, and how relentless our hours/schedule/caseload is--that her groom appreciates so much more his coming home to her beauty and Light and good attitude.

I used to be shy!

I used to hold grudges!

I used to compare--why me? why am I alone? when is it MY turn to shine?--(smile). Not anymore.

They even let me take home some of the floral center piece arrangements : )))

That is one old tradition  in the family that goes way back!

Dancing... seeing my coworkers... time by the water with toes on the sand with my son--PLUS the centerpiece??

It was a wonderful day!

See how subtle Spirit works? And yet how far we can progress?

Give it time, and you will know, by following your inner guidance, that all the 'old you' you never really wanted to be, just sloughs off like an old sunburn...leaving behind the new, glowing, heart-centered person you ARE...and were always meant to be.

P.S. Yes, I gave Reiki. The sun was setting, and I made it available to the Guardian Angels of everyone present. I gave Galactic Reiki and Agarthan Reiki too. How could I not?

Oh. So THAT Explains it!

I just had a disturbing dream.

I was re-marrying my first husband. We were older now. But he was in jeans, and I wasn't in a dress either. I was digging through my old jewelry box to find some new plain rings for us. His wouldn't fit. And the crowd seemed annoyed to be there in the first place, and waiting.

In my heart I was thinking that we would be peaceful together this time because we were older.

My sister, who had been our bridesmaid the first time, was standing in place, and ready...

But when it was time to walk down the aisle, I said, 'What am I doing? I don't want to be here!'

So at the  altar I politely explained the situation to my ex, and to the audience, and feeling tremendous freedom, I excused myself to go.

I've been divorced from him for twenty years! It was finalized I think April 1994.

At the same time, I realized I had some feelings to 'work through', and basically, it was facing the need for earthly companionship/needs being met that were totally apart from the spiritual ones.

And I Woke UP!!!

According to Marilyn Raffaele, http://aquariusparadigm.com/2014/02/16/the-arcturian-group-via-marilyn-raffaele-16-february-2014/, our entire LIFETIME this time around is meant to 'bring up some serious karma' for resolution. And in my dream last night, I felt myself working 'through' the the last bit of an issue I had thought had been resolved a long time ago...

Then Heavenletter today is along the same lines--'A Change Of Heart' --http://sirianheaven.wordpress.com/2014/02/17/heavenletter-4833-change-of-heart-february-17-2014/

To be honest, I was quite ready to 'give it a go' with the ex, and to trust him. It wasn't until I woke more and thought, 'What am I doing? I am happy with my husband in spirit, Ross! I am already married in my heart.'

I guess I got myself to the point of forgiveness (we were just kids at the time, and he had a troubled childhood, my college sweetheart who became my first husband.)

And that was it.

Go along for the ride.

Your karma resolution is depending on it.

Let everything happen for there is healing in it. Just note that you are Here, Now, and you have a say in how your heart REALLY feels about it this time.

Learn your lessons well. And let go.

I have to share a big one I did yesterday that is going to make you laugh:
When my son was born, the hospital gave us plenty of baby blankets to take home with us. You know the white ones with the stripes of pink and blue on them? I've kept them for YEARS. My boy is nine! Sunday, I gave them back into the dirty laundry in the newborn examination room. There were about ten blankets.

I let them go.

I let go of everything I had been holding on to, trying to keep the magic of being a new mother.

I let go of my dream of having five kids and a busy home and being a wife and mother.

There is no way I could ever have a baby. Even having him was a miracle--I couldn't. I would miscarry.

And now there is a hummingbird taking a bath in the fountain, chirping away.

Ross and I filled the hummingbird feeder together on Friday. He was trying to tell me I am his angel and I got embarrassed and wanted to cry so I changed the subject, 'Do you like hummingbirds?'.

'I like hummingbirds. Would you like to fill the feeder together?'

We did.

I guess everything is going to be okay.

I'm glad he sent me one right now while I was sharing something that might make you laugh but was very serious growth for me.

He is a a good husband.

Namaste,

Reiki Doc

P.S. This morning I saw him go to work. He went up an elevator type thing. He went WAY up. He was quiet, and thoughtful, and wearing his suit he wears, the one with the little gold triangle over the heart. They don't drink coffee at the control panels. I kind of thought they would. But they greet each other heartily, and get all intensely engaged with their work and their day...he's at the helm now. With Ashtar, Bartholomew, and one other... : )
Have a good day Ross!

Expectations

I read Blossom Goodchild's message today with interest. http://galacticchannelings.com/english/blossom09-01-14.html

Then I went back to the O.R. It was a crazy day--in cases all morning, over six hours straight, through lunch with no break. At two they wanted me to start another case, and I said 'no!' It was within my rights to ask for a ten minute break for a sandwich. The surgeons were pissed. I was delaying their case! But I didn't care. I explained politely that I would pass out from lack of food and water, and I would be right back.

Mother isn't doing the best. Her sodium is low. My sister texted for help earlier in the day. I offered to call from my hospital to Mom's doctors to sort things out. You see, after a kidney transplant, you only go back once a year or twice to the place where they did it (UCLA). Otherwise you are back at your Big Box Hospital with your team. We didn't know what was going on, there was poor communication and we wanted to make sure UCLA was in the loop.

At the table, with my own ENT and another doc, I had a simple lunch--one small bowl of lentil soup, and one tiny slice of chocolate cheese cake. (I eat high calorie foods on purpose when I don't know when I'll go home or ever eat; I had skimped on breakfast.)

Who sits down at our table but a nephrologist I had never met--It said clearly on the white coat his specialty. And he was so kind and sat next to me.

I got up my courage and I asked about what is going on with mom. (Basically transplanted kidneys don't last forever...sad enough).

I was so grateful for the coincidence. I texted my sister and explained the situation right away.

On the way home, I just realized something important from the interaction between Blossom and her Guides! There was much discussion about the comment about 'moving forward in time' because the Galactics don't have 'time' and Blossom called them on it.

It was the EXPECTATION.

The Galactics do not KNOW the expectation! I took the liberty to go on the bridge, interrupting their meeting, and explain to them the following things:

  • I am a physician. When I learned Medical Spanish, I learned about the expectation patients have in their doctor. In white people, or more young ones, they want to be informed and take part in the decision-making process of their care. Not so with Latinos. The expectation is for a warm, close, firm handshake (so as to be 'parental' and not 'los frios'), and someone who will lead or guide the family and patient towards the best path of care. In Vietnamese culture, there is a quirk in that there is an expectation for a shot. No needle, just pills? Then the visit wasn't 'right' in their mind...
  • Here on Surface, Ground Crew has picked up a little bit of the 'culture' and clearly the Lightworker has developed an expectation for what the Galactics are going to accomplish.
  • I explained that I know they are fully competent, but they have to come across in a way that meets these expectations head on.
I also explained the strange things about life on surface Gaia:
  • If you are different you are often shunned.
  • If you have something green stuck on your teeth, not everyone will tell you about it when you smile. Sometimes only your closest friends will. (this one was new to them, they smiled)
  • For the men, sometimes they forget to pull up the zipper on their pants after using the bathroom. A kind person will tell them 'XYZ!' discreetly--for Examine Your Zipper! Others just ignore it. (they really thought this one was funny and laughed a lot)
  • Kids do the thing where they point at your shirt, you look down, and then they lift their finger up to your face, and laugh at you.
  • I explained the nature of a 'Noogie' or 'Dutch Rub'.
  • There is even a game that is called 'fifty two card pick up' where the innocent one is asked to play, it's made to sound really fun, and then they person throws the cards all over the floor and the innocent one has to pick them all up.
I told the crew I couldn't tell them what to do, but I invited them to pick my brain (telepathically, or with any of their monitoring technology) to find out what the expectation is for them, within the limits of our culture.

Not more than ten minutes later, I get a song on the radio with the energy signature of Ross, my Twin Flame, who is one of the ones who sits on the bridge:

Dog Days Are Over by Florence And The Machine

The crew also sent the message, 'We are going to KICK ASS!'

They figured it out!

I was shopping at Trader Joe's tonight. I got the message, 'You will be called up to the Bridge in one hour.'

That never happened before. I just come and go spontaneously. I was a little nervous about it.
I came home and put away the groceries. I almost put the roses in the vase but I felt the energy, just like when Psychic Development Circle is going to start. I was guided to put them in a bucket of water, in the package, and go lie down.

I excused myself to lie down on the couch--how I love that couch! While my son did homework.
As I relaxed and closed my eyes, I was up on the Bridge.

No one was there. It was empty.

And I was wearing that dress I wore when I was having my hair washed by Ed and all the White Brotherhood (the guys at the helm) were watching--it's white, a cloth I had never seen, strapless, with a full skirt. It shimmers, like giant fish scales of very high tech, and there are spaces between the scales. I wore matching gloves that were over the elbow.

I was curious as to why I wore this dress?

A hand came, and the fourth crew member came and guided me across the bridge, and to the door on the far left. There was a large hall; it was filled with people. I grew even more curious as they were seated in rows, looking at the front. There was an aisle in between them.

It looked like a wedding!

I didn't understand. Then people began to look at me and smile and wave. They were very nice but I did not know any of them.

At the far end was a bearded man in a dark suit, tall, sinewy build, strong. I wondered who it was?

ROSS! I had never seen him dressed like that before. I could see the white shirt and the dark coat like a tuxedo.

Music started to play, and my guide escorted me down the aisle. Here comes the bride, just one phrase of it, and then celestial music that was beautiful and had emotion and color.

People in the chairs started to cry tears of happiness.

We were getting married! And it was a real wood floor, with genuine wood from earth under us!

I saw Blessed Mother out of the corner of my eye, to the left and in the back. I asked, 'What IS all this???' and she whispered and gestured, 'It is a good thing, go along with it!' and shooed me down the aisle with her hand from her seat.

As I got up to the end of the aisle, Ross took my right hand, and we faced the person--I guess it was the captain of the ship, Ashtar? He had on a different suit too--who spoke to us. I was asked first, do you take this man? It was all this extra talk I didn't understand at all after, so  I simply said, 'Yes!' Then they asked Ross about me. He said, 'I do'.

I was like, 'I said 'yes' and you said, 'I do' is that going to work?'
Ross said, 'I said, yes I do' and smiled, reassuring me that it would work.

I smiled at Ashtar and said, making a gesture with my hand, 'Whoa this is WAY over my head!'
And everyone laughed. The audience. The crew. And Ross. His smile was the sweetest smile ever, and he confessed that is what everyone likes so much about me.

We were pronounced Man and Wife. And he kissed the bride.

We turned to go, and I said, 'Wait! I want you to break the glass! I want to walk around you seven times!' After all, we were under a chuppah of flowers.

So I did the walk, first, touching my fingers lightly on Ross as I went, counting carefully the number of circles I made around him, taking my energy around him to protect him and make him my own. Then they handed him a glass wrapped in a napkin. Before he broke it I made sure his shoes were strong enough and he wouldn't get cut. Ross broke the glass under his foot with one swift stomp!

Then I was happy!

The timer rang on my son's homework.

It was time to go.  We had a few brief moments together, and then I asked for a favor. May I please share my gratitude with the guests?

I was given my request. As I stood there, and said my thanks out loud, little blue rays of light came from my heart center and connected to each person present, including Ashtar and Ross...I explained how this was such a surprise and a blessing, how it means so much for their presence to share our joy,  and how I will remember it forever in my heart. Then the little lights stopped, and came back to me, and I turned to go.

On Sunday, December 29, 2013, I was at the local jewelers getting a watch sized for my son. It was taking a while. I walked around the store. Ross said, 'pick any ring you want'.

I chose the simple gold bands, like above. I have my reasons. Gold is inter dimensional--it exists in all dimensions at the same time. And the circle is unending. Plus I am modest. I did not want a blood diamond.

Sometime last week, Ross proposed. He dropped to one knee, and asked in the most beautiful way. He had the little velvet box. He gave me an engagement ring that looked like Grace Kelly's from Prince Ranier. That one is ten carats and squarish in shape. He said it was galactic and no one was harmed.

I looked at him and said, 'You are my best friend! Why do you even need to ask? I couldn't imagine spending a day of my life without you...'
But he said, 'I want you--and everybody else--to know how much I care about you.'
I was deeply moved by his sentiment, and I cried, embracing him, and said, 'Yes!'.

Both the engagement rings and the wedding rings had something unusual about them: they don't get pushed on the finger. They just show up on your finger on their own. You look down and it fades on, like people being transported in Star Trek.

Ross knows the expectation--even when I had no idea I had that expectation at all.

I thought we were twin souls, we merged, and that was enough.

The Galactics understand enough to meet or exceed our earthly expectations as Ground Crew when we interact with them.

And they are nice enough to stage a wedding on board a ship, to make a twice-divorced, single mom, the happiest bride that ever was in all of the history of the cosmos...

Working With Spirit

Emily 'Lee Ann' Whiting

I blogged a great deal today. It is a joy, but it takes a lot out of me. I knew it was time to spend the afternoon doing something fun. It is my weekend without the kids. What should I do?

Sometimes being a mother means you forget how to take care of yourself.  That's where Spirit comes in:

C: Hey, Guides?! Where should I go? Nothing feels 'right'.

G: Go someplace in Nature that is of Historical Interest. (they showed me a rough geographic area). Go where there was a big tree that everyone once came to see. Go where people have to pay to get in but today you will not have to pay.

C: hmmm...sounds cryptic, I thought. I looked on TripAdvisor. I found the place. An adobe. I packed my sketch book and drawing pencils, and took off. Once I got there, I was irritated to see all kinds of people packing things in. For a wedding! There were tables and generators...I had missed the docent tour as well. Luckily, when I went in to the adobe, there was a door bell type button to push, and you could hear a tour guide on tape. I wonder if I am going to see any ghosts today??? I thought, will a thrill of excitement!

There were no ghosts. Only generators and locked doors on some of the exhibits. But there was a kind docent in the library, and I spoke with her. Marion with the British Accent. She encouraged me to come to some future events. These are fundraising activities and there is a fee to attend, but there is no fee today.

I went to an old church, and there I found my ghost. It was Mrs. Whiting.

MW: Don't you just love church? It is a place where you can go where you don't have to worry about the house and the ranch and the crops and the hired help. (she was in a white dress near the organ that she used to play, about my age, and very petite. she wanted me to share this with you, so that modern people would understand better the actual 'draw' of the church at the time for people like her. )

(ed-I found this online just now while double checking her name. Article dated April 22, 2012. Here picture is above. She told me her name was 'Lee Ann'--
Emily herself had turned 44 in January. Unlike her late husband, however, whose handsome face and form had altered over the years in proportion to his prosperity, Emily seemed to have tapped into some sort of Fountain of Youth.  Still petite and stylish, the titian-haired Mrs. Whiting had been a fixture in Los Angeles society since she and Dwight had decamped from El Toro about a decade ago.  )

I also noticed that there was an American Flag, the kind with the yellow fringe on the edges and an eagle on top of the pole, right next to the altar with the big wooden cross on it. My antennae went up about the meaning of that flag--kind of a David Wilcock-type stuff--but I couldn't remember exactly what it meant.

I came out and looked in the outhouse. That must have been cold those winter nights! And then I started to notice...them. It was a bunch of high schoolers that were all dressed up. The docent said it was Homecoming Night, and locals like to take their photos there. Some of the girls looked like models, some looked skanky, and the 'modest' ones stood out above the rest for their beauty.  The boys looked like dweebs, and were totally infatuated with the gorgeous girls.

So here I was, with Homecoming AND a Wedding, trying to find some PEACE! What do I do? I sit and I draw the church. People are walking in and out of the subject. I don't draw them in. You never really 'see' something until you draw it. It is an activity I enjoy. I have little talent. But I have fun with it nonetheless.

I walked by a display with a cutting cross-cut through the trunk of a giant live oak, the diameter of which was taller than me.  There was a historic plaque and everything with it.  As secondary confirmation, a long acorn fell at my feet from the smaller tree that had replaced it, and I picked it up.

I got the feeling to give Reiki. Am I the official Reiki Wedding blesser or what? LOL I thought to myself. But as I worked, the angels arrived, and there was a vortex. One to bless all of the young people in their transitions, some to marriage, and others to Homecoming points in their lives. It would stay.

It's funny, on the way over to the place, I was trying to think about what to have for dinner. I wanted Pho, but I didn't know of any place in the area that was good. I could have cooked some spaghetti. But then I would have to clean everything up. Sure enough, when I left the place, and turned through the nearest strip mall to get to the main road--there it was--Majestic Pho! With shave ice, boba, and grill! And there were not one but TWO parking spaces opening right in front of the door.

I smiled. Working with the Universe really is terrific. I sat down and got the pho and fresh coconut juice, the kind with little pieces of fresh coconut in it. The only white girl in the place. And I eat like I am Vietnamese. It kind of freaked the owners out--  ; )

How To Manifest 101

When you wake up to your higher dimension ability, one of the most distinguishing differences from life in 3D is you will have the ability to access what you want through mind power. I have been playing with it the last few weeks and would like to share with you a story from yesterday's success in Manifestation. Let us begin with my first waking up.

Guide: what would you like to do for today?
Me: I don't know. Something really fun and for the highest good.
An image of a white sail and a sailboat flashed in my mind.

Me, while washing the dishes at breakfast:  I really like this Sunday thing! What would it be like if it was Sunday every day? Or Vacation every day?
I thought about the sailboat, and decided to go to a Lake nearby, rent a sabot, invite friends, and go sailing together. That would leave me time to roast the chicken.
(I still cook meat for the family, but 'happy meat'. My Reiki Master son is starting to eat more fish and less meat, like me, though)

Well, the friends couldn't make it. And the kids wanted to go whale watching.

Inwardly, I laughed. My left ankle has been sore, and body boarding puts a lot of stress on it. I had been craving the beach and seawater for two weeks now, but afraid to risk further injury. What a clever way to manifest it into my life!

We took out the pendulum, and together, we 'got' NO for lake and YES for whales.

Today was the first time in two weeks they had seen a blue whale. It was 'spooked' by non-professional whale watchers getting too close, and didn't put on a good show. But it was a blue, and the weather was perfect. White sails and sailboats dotted the ocean as far as the eye can see.

After we came back to shore, the children wanted to go eat at our favorite restaurant, the one with outdoor seating that overlooks Laguna Beach. What about the chicken? I thought.

We took out the pendulums again. It was funny, the answer was 'yes' to both the restaurant AND dining at home!

This was when I popped back on the space craft again, in my mind*. The night before, I had learned it was Andromedan. Several times, during rest, I have returned. Now I was here, and the room was the same. The circle of entities in chairs was the same. My uniform was the same color as theirs now, and I had my own place to sit.

When you manifest, it is important to accept that which comes forth from the Process.

I realized my desire for the beach came along with the whale watching, and that we should go where the entire family loves it best.

Worrying about the chicken, the money spent on it, and my 'plans' at home were very 3D, they pointed out.

Make the choice that your soul desires at the present time. Don't try to override it with your mind. Go towards the new, exercise your ability to Manifest, and the plans will be fine the next day. (I was low on the list, and able to cook dinner at home)

So we went to the restaurant in Laguna Beach.

As I was sitting listening to the waves, and enjoying the sunlight on the water, and soaking in the breeze, I relaxed. You know that little knot of tension in your being that you carry with you always in the third dimension? The one that takes three days of vacation to let go? It did. And I realized, I needed the beach and restaurant as much as it needed to be manifest.

They ran out of baked potatoes. But we all had out seared ahi. Strangely enough, this time I did not order a glass of white wine. And my vibration felt better because of it. My rice pilaf was terrible-converted rice with long chunks of vermicelli that was overcooked. But the cheesecake we all shared was the best!

As the sun was setting, we walked to Main Beach. I had my bathing suit under my clothing the whole time. There was a wedding taking place the minute we stepped on the beach. I stood at a distance behind the ceremony and gave reiki, in front of everyone, with hand symbols, to bless their union and transition into married life. Then we went and played in the water until the sun went down.

The wedding was over in minutes. The timing was impeccable for us to be there.

Guides: what is your most powerful message/premonition you have been given?
Me: when I was staying in Diamond Head at the W Hotel, alone, for a conference, and I woke up and was asked, 'would you like to have a baby?'
I answered back, 'whatever is for the highest good. I would love to have one, yes'.
(I thought nothing of it, but in two weeks, after I got back, my boyfriend and I ended up with a child on the way.)

I was given a similar message, not about a baby,  but still a life-changer then and there at the beach.

Okay then. I thought to myself. Kind of like before, a little in denial and more like, 'whatever'.

The ocean is good for me. I must be Lemurian, I thought to myself, as I jumped through the waves with delight.

When I came back home, while checking my work assignment, I found I had the day off! And there is a 20% off coupon for my local metaphysical store in my email inbox! Looks like it is going to be Sunday twice this week for me.

The Healing Rock

Last year, on a whim, I decided to take the family someplace I had never been before but always wanted to go. Although initially I thought about Vancouver, in my trip planning, Victoria BC resonated more with my heart. And as I looked through hotels, one stood out above the rest so I took it.

The flight up to the Pacific Northwest was delightful! We got into our room, and then made our way out to the water. Wild blackberries gave me joy, as there had always been blackberries in the yard growing up. At the water, something compelled me to take off my shoes, sit on a rock, and put my feet in.

Frankly I was so exhausted I was burning out. Something happened when I put my feet in the icy water. I felt compassion. I felt healing. I felt hope. One of the kids even massaged my feet, for five dollars Canadian money.

That night in the hotel, I felt a pair of eyes watching me. A presence of a First Nations spirit. I didn't say anything.

The kids started seeing it too. We called him Chief. Over the course of the holiday, our past lives came out. For me, it was not good: I was the daughter of the Chief, who was bright and eager to learn but was denied education because she was not a male. Furthermore, she almost died in childbirth, with her father saving her life emergently but no children or even hopes of them ever again. Not woman, not man...just tortured. We did a ceremony on the rock, the family. And I let it go.

We are here now. chief is back. And I am healing on a very deep level.

Feet in the water, on this rock that we have since learned was known for its healing properties. This time I saw clearly how spent I had been one year ago! And how now is better.

I have to share part of the deepest healing. It is personal, and almost embarrassing. For the last three weeks, I could not get enough of the song One Thousand Years. I keep playing it, driven by something of Spirit.

There was a wedding today at the hotel. We watched and I gave Reiki. I saw how they were young, And I was not in my twenties. I gave them the Transition Symbol, strengthening the heart and mind to give them a chance at the happiness I have not experienced in partnership and in Love. I wanted to give them the best wedding gift of all, of Harmony and Light. To total strangers, for free, without recognition, for I am part French, part Italian, and though I try to hide it,am a true romantic at heart.

She walked down the aisle, in all her female beauty, to the song One Thousand Years. "Mom! It's your song!" the kids said. I started bawling. I picked up on this moment unconsciously weeks in advance, and was drawn to the song to emphasize the importance of this moment.

I realized that in my trip last year, I had learned only half the lesson. It was not finished.

Chief came right at that moment, and said, 'You are a princess and have royal blood in your veins. This is not changed by your ability to have children. Or get married. The royalty of your bloodline in our tribal nation, as long as you live, rightly belongs to you. Never forget this.'

She was the one who,out of pain and suffering, set me up for this life as a doctor and healer that is self-sufficient. It was the residual pain from that lifetime that made me beat the Indian doll that I was given as a child, and yell at it and hate it for weeks, only to relent, open my heart and love her as my favorite one I still remember to this day. It was she who had the name White Bird Dove, the Shaman told me twenty years ago.She was the one who guided me to this place, after our Kona Village got uninhabitable after the Tsunami of March 2011. And it was she who patiently waited an extra year for me to grow enough, to heal the wound completely in my soul from that life.

I look forward to the rest of this teaching trip.

Remember, I have told my story for you to understand the workings of the spirit that take many lifetimes. As you near ascension, similar clearing of the past lives may pop up into your here and now. Work with them. They are very important. Let the healing take place, no matter how long it might require. It is the nature of Heaven.
