The Importance of Rest, Downtime, and Sleep
Sleep is the body's way of regenerating itself. This applies to the physical, the emotional, the mental and the energetic bodies that are 'you'. Do you ever stop and wonder why there is so much emphasis in our society on 'not getting enough sleep' due to commitments and distractions? We are encouraged to 'stay up late' by going out, by partying, by working late shifts, are we not? It is not 'cool' to go to bed at eight. It is 'lame' to spend the weekend at home, relaxing. We are supposed to be going a mile a minute, being exciting, if you judge yourself by books, movies, T.V. and computer imagery and characters.
Now it is time to ask yourself, 'Where does my dollar go when I stay up late and go out?' Where does it go when you pay to see a movie? Where does it go when you watch T.V. before bed?
Doesn't it go to the same people who sell Ambien, more or less? Doesn't it go to the one percent? The people that make the news, that make the T.V., that make the pharmaceuticals, that set up our society for us? They might not be in cahoots. Or more correctly, it depends on how you wish to perceive it. It depends on if you have eyes that see. And if you are 'awake' or if you prefer to believe they have your best interests before their profits.
Take the time to get in touch with your body. To find out what it right for YOU, whether it is 'cool' or not. I just spent the weekend with some down time, and it was an eye-opening experience. Most of the time I look to weekends as a chance to 'catch up' on the housework (yes, I clean my house), chores, and the sunshine (O.R.'s are dark, and this time of year, I rarely see any sun because I go in early and get out late). We watched a lot of T.V. and pay-per-view, and after a while, I realized how much I had not been missing by not watching it! And how much push for Holiday Shopping there is.
Enjoy your time. Relax. Remember, back in Italy, in my mom's time, sleep was considered a 'medicine' and enjoyed to the fullest. In some times, back in history, people slept so much that they had a meal at around two a.m., and went back to sleep some more!

Lifting the Veil on Fairy Tales
Last night as I was chopping kale for my salad, I thought, how damaging the fairy tale really is to the listener!
As defenseless children we are drilled from early childhood how the princess is beautiful and she needs a handsome prince to save her.
What kind of story is this? It perpetuates the Illuminati and their 'normal' structure in our life. I know I have a deep belief in me that 'some day my prince will come', and I have been married not once but twice! And so under the radar this time of mind-control is! How would you ever think something meant for children could be so harmful to their spirit, their personal power, and their free will? For the parents, it was read to THEM in as kids. The control perpetuates itself.
No one has any clue of their power to create, to manifest, and the ability itself atrophies with time.
And the movies? Who makes the beautiful cartoon movies about Snow White and Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty? Might they be in on it? At the lower levels, I don't think so. But at the very top? Quite possibly, yes. (Here is a link if you are interested: http://reikidoc.blogspot.com/2012/07/the-truth-about-papa-rat.html) I have a love for castles, and I travel to see them. When you stop to think about what they represent, and what happened inside, it makes you think twice.
How about Sports? The 'opiate of the masses'? We want us some FOOT-BALL! I used to go to all kinds of sporting events. I grew up watching boxing with my father. We would watch the T.V., and he would drink beer and take off his shirt. I used to sit next to him and take my shirt off too when I was three and four. I had no idea that these boxers were hurting each other, that the blood was real, and that when one would lie on the floor after the other one hit him in the head, that his brain had stopped functioning on some level, and that he had been knocked out. We saw them all, cheering for Joe Frazier, Cassius Clay who went on to become Muhammad Ali. I met Ali once at the Carnegie Deli. He had Parkinson's disease real bad. He was doing magic tricks for us diners once he came up with his group from the celebrity dining downstairs. I took my picture with him. And I have his autograph. I thanked him for all of the happy times we had cheering him on to victory. He said I was pretty and hugged me tight for the photo...
How many self-reinforcing behaviors can we see? Let's make it a game. And be sure to add to it in the comments.
1) TGIF! It's FRIDAY! Party on! (this reinforces the 40-hour work week)
2) Television. 'I have to see my show', with TIVO even. I think even though we fast forward through the commercials, the brain comprehends it. Television is getting you to watch the commercials by bribing you with a show you like, not the other way around 'with the commercials to pay for it'.
3) Fashion. Look at the lifestyle and eating habits of a supermodel. Cheryl Tiegs used to only eat vegetables and her treat was a small bag of potato chips. Fashion primes the female that happiness is only a mall away.
4) Food. Do you think that the reason we meet up at restaurants for family get-togethers instead of at home is an accident? Or a slow, deliberately-planned trend? I don't know. But the food itself is 'dead' energetically. Eat organic, locally-grown for a month, and tell me how you feel.
5) School. Everyone I have spoken with who comments on how much homework our children are being given these days thinks it is wrong. Is this is priming children for success or breaking down their creativity? I don't know for sure, but today's child is afraid to go out and play (someone might kidnap you), and to enjoy nature (something will sting you or bite).
What do I have to say about all this Illuminati mind-control? And the Cabal?
Poppycock and Balderdash!

Irritability: A Story from Dualty
There is a pattern I just deciphered: the three-dimensionality of others is making me uncomfortable.
Between a 70 year-old, and a 7-year old, my family spans generations. Leaving me out of their happy ways to pass the time. I do not enjoy coca-cola, television (especially Three and a Half Men), or sitting around. I do not worry, I do not get fearful. But being around them and their dense energies really got to me.
Last night, a splinter made my oldest kid go into hysterics. And everybody fed off each other. It was a week of 'gimme gimme gimme' by the children. And grandma paying money, although I advised her to say no. The video games, the screen time, the DVD's made me realize 1) my kids are entirely controlled by some outside media force and 2) my mother is too. The young ones wanted sugar and the old one took their insulin.
It was insanity.
Today, I broke a window out of sheer anger. I did not intend to break it. But more hysterics over a broken towel rack that fell on a toe. After a car ride full of 'gimme gimme gimme', this time is was a game for the Kinect. I said, go do something. No computer. 'Mom, we need help with the computer turning it on.' I said, no computer games. find something to do, I need to relax. That when the bathroom accident happened.
I broke the towel rack rod in two--it was cheap and poorly made-- after I tended to my hurt kid. Out of sheer frustration. And then I threw it. It bounced off the top of the stairs, and through a window over the sliding glass door. I heard the glass crack. There was a baseball sized hole in it. And shards of glass all over the carpet below.
Crap.
I had to get rid of it. I had to get rid of the frustration energy. I had to break free of this crap of everyday life, of being a mother and the never-ending responsiblity with no relief. After venting I felt better. As I was on my rant, I knew I was making a choice to anger. 'Just for today, do not anger', Usui-sensei said. The window, which is my favorite window in the whole house, taught me to keep it together. I saw what anger does to a structure. And furthermore, the A/C had to go off. Bummer!
With a window to fix, I calmed down. I called the glass company. I got on a ladder and with gloves removed the broken glass. It was the slider part of the window. And the frame popped out just like the glass man on the phone said. Tomorrow we fix it.
I am taking responsibility for my actions. I am making right.
But as the kids watch Pawn Stars downstairs as I write this, I don't want to go. The very core of my being does not want to watch another stupid show on T.V. I want to sit in Nature. I want to water plants. I hate to see the same old bullshit they call entertainment, a sorry excuse for us to watch the commercials. I am so fed up with the lies and the foolery that my heart isn't in it any more.
From what I have read, all children are going to Ascend. So are their parents. It can't happen soon enough as far as I am concerned.
I wrote this tonight at six thirty p.m.
Here is what Mike Quinsey channelled for Salusa just now: about duality and taking responsibility! More secondary confirmation of this message and Salusa's. http://www.treeofthegoldenlight.com/First_Contact/mike_quinsey/channeled%20messages/August%202012/salusa__17august2012.htm

P.S. The window is fine. The air conditioner is on (normally I don't, but right now for the pets I have it on. I have many fine creatures--a bird, a snake, a turtle, and of course the pet rats). It set me back two hundred dollars. But the lesson I have in both learning to control my temper and in being able to fix the damage is beyond measure.
