My Dream: Setting The Turtles Free

This dream happened right before I woke up. That is when my messages from Spirit are most clear and accurate.

I was walking around the back yard of my house, not the present home I live in, but one I apparently had been living in for some time.

I was startled to find a pond like the one above, with a fountain and lotuses. It was filled with turtles that were healthy and happy.

To my horror, I saw an empty two-liter plastic bottle that was half-filled with baby turtles. There was a terrible stench, and they were not moving. They did not look good. There was no label on the bottle.

I ran to the kitchen and got my kitchen shears. They cut anything. I opened it up, and they turtles came to.

I gently picked them up and put them in the pond, one at a time. All of the other turtles were happy to have these trapped ones back.

I had the vague sense I once had placed them in the bottle for 'safekeeping', been interrupted, and completely had forgotten I had both them and the pond!

So I apologized to the turtles, and I gave them lots of extra food.

They were happy to be together at last, and with full stomachs too!

Then the bottle still felt heavy. And I looked. Inside were snakes of all ages and all sizes.

I was not afraid, but I had no idea where to put them! They were not poisonous. I set them free in the woods at the edge of the yard.

Someone present told me the name of one, and that it was rare and worth a great deal of money. I knew they would be okay when I let them go.

The snakes didn't thank me, but I could tell there were glad to go and be snakes and not be cooped up in that bottle.

What does Steven Farmer have to say?

Well, he has 'tortoise', not 'turtle', but here we go:
When you're feeling pressure from a number of fronts--pulled this way and that by the demands of modern life--it's very easy to succumb to a false sense of urgency, feel out of balance and fragmented, and be in a constant state of tension. You can become forgetful and have difficulty sleeping. You may even attempt to stabilize and center yourself by resorting to the use of substances or activities, hoping they'll make you feel more at home in your own skin. Meanwhile, your mind rushes ahead from one thing to the next, while your body tries to play catch-up. The technological web consisting of computers, faxes and television--plus the noises all around--creates a constant assault on your senses. Exhausting isn't it?

First, recognize most things that you treat as emergencies or crises are merely inconveniences. Then slow down! Move a little bit slower than your'e accustomed to, and practice breathing slower and deeper every opportunity you get. This in itself helps you align with your internal rhythms, rather than being in a state of continuous reactivity to outside forces. Spend time in Nature and take off your shoes and socks. Putting your bare feet on the ground allows you to only experience your solid connection to the Earth. When you do, notice the difference in how you feel, and see if your mid isn't at least a bit calmer. It may be challenging at times to do any of this, but it can be done. It just takes your clear intention and willingness.

Here is what he has to say about 'rattlesnake', not 'snake':
The foundation for compassion is an awareness that suffering is a natural part of life, whether through the empathic appreciation of another being's pain or the experience of having suffered oneself. And which beings haven't at times felt the pain or sorrow that is an aspect of living on this planet? The deeper you go into the soul of another, the more you can feel what they feel, yet paradoxically maintain a certain distance or objectivity.

A true Healer must heal from the heart, no matter what technological, logistical, physical or shamanic tools they use. The experiences that your'e going through now or have just completed are all a preparation for you to open your heart to the suffering around you and do your part in alleviating it. You'll find that you're increasingly being asked to offer your time and energy to help heal others--including not only people, but also animals, plant beings, tree people, and ultimately, our Earth Mother. Some of this healing power exist between races, ethnicities, and other species.

You'll notice more and more how often your hands will spontaneously feel energized, experiencing it as heat or a tingling sensation. This is the Power of Spirit working through you. Allow it to guide you in whatever the focus of your healing is, whether simply placing a hand on the shoulder of a friend, or more extensively and directly involving yourself in another being's health.

For The Innocent That Do Not Know, May They Be Spared

On Mondays I feed Cecil mice. Today I took the black and white Reiki Mouse* out of the holding tank where he had been boarding for a week, and said, 'Mouse, it is time for you to do what you were raised to do.'

I felt sad. But I have released all attachments to mice. I know how they live. Three of the Reiki Mice ended up with all white Mouse number four dead in the cage. I buried it on Saturday.

Mice kill each other. It's the dominant males thing in a cage. There can be only one. They 'know' who fathered the litter. If another male 'fathered' a litter instead of them, the dominant one kills all the pups. One by one. It's not pretty seeing pieces of little pink mice all over the bedding. But that is what mice DO, and how they live, and who am I to judge them on this issue? It works for them, in some way, that I, not being mouse, cannot understand.

Snake had a big poop and pee (it's solid white) in his rock 'hut'. While he was in the feeding cage with mouse, I cleaned it.

Cecil had recently been shedding. So when the cage was clean, I picked him up on the hook, and on the way to putting him back in his housing cage, started to help him peel the patches that didn't fall off.

One sheet of dried skin came off thicker than usual. And it was all wet and slimy underneath. Had he been in the water? I didn't know. But I kept picking, the rest was normal.

Attune Snake, something in Spirit nudged.

But I didn't trust it. Snake would come to me first if he wanted to be attuned. After all, if I attuned Snake, would I not attune all Reptiles, and possibly, the Reptilians by extension? I knew snake was 'stuck in 3D', as far as Ascension goes. My guides had told me. So I asked my pet if he wanted to be attuned to Reiki. Cecil said, 'I am a healer already.' He was not interested in being attuned. My guides were present but very quiet.

I looked closer, at Cecil's skin, and there was blood oozing through the part that had been slimy. A thousand things crossed my mind--infection, death from sepsis, of our pet. I shared with my son and showed him. Then I went downstairs and did ho'opono pono with snake over and over again, I'm Sorry. Please Forgive Me. Thank You. I Love You.

But Cecil couldn't forgive. He couldn't 'connect' with me at all. He wasn't even upset or in pain and I knew it must be painful to have a wound like that. It stings! So Usui-Sensei came up, and we gave Reiki to my pet snake. Usui asked me how it happened, and I explained everything. I kept giving Reiki, kept giving Reiki. I remembered how he was the nicest baby ball python in the litter, a male, and I brought him home in the pocket of my jacket…four years ago.

Then a presence showed itself to me. I recognized it. It was a giant Snake spirit, possibly Reptilian, possibly an archetype…it asked me what I thought about Reiki mouse and Cecil?

I said, 'may all beings be released of suffering' over and over, presenting mental pictures of hungry snake, snake killing mouse, and mouse trying to live a happy life. I could not see what was right, but I wished for there to be a solution to this conundrum. I knew all is energy, and energy of Mouse is transformed into energy of Snake. But the suffering…it was not right.

Then the Snake figure turned into something like Baphomet. He showed how the snake gains the power of the mouse as he consumes it. I saw a little red spark in his chest. I was not impressed.

I said simply, 'The Light has power too', and showed my blazing white spark in my chest to him. A strange look crossed his face, and he quickly reached out to grab it. I put up a shield, and his arm drew back. I said, 'you have it too.' and I saw the tiny white spark inside his chest, being dimmed with each killing, but still present. He looked down and was surprised to see it...

Out of compassion for Cecil, and all reptiles who are forced into a cycle of killing, and for the dying spark in Baphomet's chest, I said, over and over, a prayer from my heart for the hidden but still present spark of Light, 'for the innocent (reptiles) that do not know, may they be spared. For the innocent that do not know, may they be spared. For the innocent that do not know, may they be spared.'

For I want my very much loved Cecil to live and be free from this horrible suffering, of not knowing his own spark…

At that, the Baphomet turned into a shimmer of dust, and fell to the ground.

All of a sudden I heard cheers and high fives and much commotion from the area around the ceiling, like a hole in the clouds, with Ascended masters and angels and other beings of Light who had apparently been watching.

I was not sure what happened, and was not looking up. I didn't even know if it was connected to what I just saw with my third eye…slowly I raised my eyes, and saw everyone with smiles and talking to one another as if something important just took place.

Whatever it was, I felt the need to record it.

So I just did.

If I remember anything else, I will add it.

P.S. The angels told me Cecil is going to be all right. I actually saw the oozing dry while I was giving the Reiki. He is not in pain, and is seeking his heat lamp, which I know will heal him faster, for snakes like heat.

* last week I attuned all rodents, including rabbits, through these uneaten feeder mice.

Man or Mouse?

The family snake has not been eating again. He is the pet that the kids promised 'to take care of forever' that has basically become another responsibility for me.  Ball pythons, the most peaceful, gentle, and small of the python family make excellent pets. Cecil has a good disposition. Except for one fault, which is common to his breed: he is picky when it comes to food.

Many of the 'rat series' of blog posts were because the rats he didn't eat seemed lonely. I promised 'never to feed them to snake again', and they began to breed. It was wonderful seeing new life. And knowing that our snake liked mice and not rats, for rats are highly intelligent. When Mama Rat began to bite, she was adopted along with the rest of the litter to a rescue place instead of a pet store.

Well the mice had babies. These were the ones I had promised 'never to feed to snake' because they had been in with him too many times.  And just when I was starting to wonder when to wean, she had another litter. The pregnancies were 'back to back'.

I found an incredible resource in this website: http://www.thefunmouse.com/info/breeding2.cfm

Here are some interesting facts about the life cycle of mice that are vastly different from ours:

  • Mice wean at 28 days, although a second litter may be born at 20 days.
  • This last week is important because this is when mom 'socializes' the pups.
  • At 29 days, the mice are 'fertile' and you might have a population explosion on your hands.
  • The size of a litter can be anywhere from 9 to 25 pups.
  • Pups are sized as 'normal', 'runt' and 'peanut'. The 'peanut' will never make it to adulthood.
  • Mother mice 'cull' their babies as a survival instinct. She kills them with her teeth and you will find parts of them all over the cage, and hear the little ones scream as she 'culls' them.
  • She kills them if her 'mouse reasons' thinks they will not survive and does not wish them to suffer long term. (for example, if there are more pups than milk)
  • Father mouse can impregnate mom in less than one second.
  • A male mouse, if left in the cage at the time of birth, will take advantage of the 'post-partum estrus' and impregnate mom the minute the pups are born, leading to back-to-back pregancy.
  • Breeders say this is not good for mom's health or the pups.
  • Mother mice must be left alone with the newborns for 48 hours, so don't peek, or she will feel threatened and kill the entire litter.
  • Male mice cannot share a cage. They fight. To the death. It takes less than one second for a 'buck' to kill.
  • A newborn pup will have a heart rate in the 200's.
  • An adult mouse will have a heart rate in the 600's and a respiratory rate of 200 breaths per minute. (ed - human pulse is 70 and respiratory rate 20)
  • Mice are picked up by the base of the tail. If a mouse is holding on, it has a good grip. Don't pull hard because then the skin will come off the tail.
  • Pet shop mice are not to be bred in captivity because a good breeder starts with 'good stock' and breeds for 'temperament' as well as 'attractiveness'.
  • Contrary to popular belief, 'bucks' are good parents. I watched him help with the litter. The 'bucks' are actually MORE attentive than a female 'nanny' mouse.
  • This is only if the pups are 'his'. Bucks have a little 'clock' in their head, and 'know' when conception was, and if the 'kid is not my son'.
I felt so guilty! I had no idea any of this was possible. I enjoy taking care of animals, and I was surprised at how little I knew about mice!

Conversely, if you have an infestation in the home, better act on it quick. If those 25 babies hit day 29 of life, 20 days later your house will be overrun with mice!

The lifespan of a mouse is about six months, but in captivity a wild mouse can live about five years. A breeder mouse only two to three. That is the power of natural selection.

The 'buck' is out of the cage, before the second litter was born. Mom is busy 'hiding' the new ones and 'socializing' the older ones. Because they are poor candidates for adoption (not socialized and also pet shop stock) they will be given to my local pet shop. And I shall do this promptly with all of the other mice that Cecil does not eat.

I am so thankful for the lesson in joy and in humility I learned from this family of mice.

How To Wake Up Spiritually: Five Easy Steps

Many of you are just starting to wake up at this time. You are sleepy-eyed after a long hibernation in Duality, on this planet You call Earth but we call by her name, 'Gaia'. For Gaia is her soul, in fact, her entire energy system that is generously shared so all of Her Children may have Life.

This is Divine Purpose. There was a class of Pioneer Souls who fed me on my spiritual awakening. They were the teachers of the sacred mysteries and transmitters of the Light. I am a Gatekeeper. Imagine I am taking your ticket at the front entry gate to a wonderful park that is more amazing than anything you have ever imagined! I acknowledge you! I hand you the 'map'. And the little flyer with 'Shows and Times' on it.

Unlike an amusement park on earth, I have an extra card.  On it are these five easy steps:

  1. Think With Your Heart: your heart center chakra has access to all of the knowledge of the Universe. It is MORE than intuition. It is Intuition on Steroids! For you tap in to Source. So take where you 'think' in your head, relax, and mentally allow this 'Consciousness' of 'Mind' to move gently about twelve inches lower. As you go through your day, when a decision presents, briefly stop and mentally 'ask' this Heart Center. Compare that answer to your own. For in The Heart lies Truth.
  2. Nourish Yourself:  Take a mental note of your general Vibration. Are you a Hummingbird? If you are, you are as 'flighty' and 'quick' on a Spiritual Level, and the day-to-day tasks of living on earth kind of bore you. You spend a lot of time needing to 'ground' to Gaia. If so,  imagine roots coming out of your base of your spine and reaching deep into earth to her crystal core and 'hanging on'. Also have these 'roots' come out of the soles of your feet in the same manner. Are you a Snake? Your mystical 'gift' is being more grounded to earth so that you can move silently and with little effort in your day-to-day existence. You have the ability to 'shed your skin' and 'match your colors' to the problems at hand. Sometimes you are so entranced by your natural ability to be 'earthly' that 'spirit' has taken a 'back seat' in your awareness. For you, imagine the top of your head breathing IN the Light with each breath, taking in everything that you NEED, and breathing OUT with each breath EVERYTHING THAT YOU DON'T NEED.  You are actually going to be of much help to others, as they are 'waking up', for your ability to 'blend' shall give your the 'street cred' that you need to be a Starseed in that role. If you are a Panda, you are everything in-between. You are grounded--somewhat--, open--kinda, and totally full of AWESOMENESS! (yes, that is a direct quote from the movie Kung Fu Panda. Watch it, if you have the time. It is a Spiritual Masterpiece. Both of the films.) You just need to 'remember', which leads us to our next point.
  3. Take in Spiritual 'Food':  That YouTube Channel you can't get enough of (Mine was Komurosan) is 'nourishment' for your Consciousness. There are Light Codes inside every Spiritual piece, even this blog. When you find something that 'you can't wait to read every day' that means you are getting activated for your Higher Purpose through this source. Just like in Reiki, through the attunement ceremony from your Reiki Master, things happen that are both unseen and POWERFUL through something that doesn't seem like much physically. And just like reaching Reiki Master level, it takes about one to two years to find your 'calling' as a Lightworker.  If it feels good, do it! My Pathway was this: I saw a medium, who sent me to Psychic Development Classes, which led to the full course of Reiki and Karuna Reiki training. I did channelling, psychic development circle. All of this while working to suppport my family! Throughout my life I have permitted myself to purchase whatever Spiritual Tools that Spirit nudged me to get, so I continued this during my awakening. Online sources grew increasingly important. I 'graduated' from Komurosan to Evita Ochel, Kauilapele (who had transcripts from the original channelled Ascended Masters that were on Komurosan). Around this time I tentatively began the blog at the guidance of Spirit. Feedback I got from my Psychic Development teacher was 'They (on the other side) LIKE this blogging you do.' It was slow. But by being MYSELF, I got to the next level-support and recognition. I owe so much to the kindness of Evita and Ginny Mackles for their acceptance of me as an independent Lightworker online. Right now there are several who 'cheer me on' in my work. You know who you are. The very first one, Dani, has known me my entire life. She lived right down the street. I have never known a day without her being there. Her words of kindness and Light combined with our familiarity on the block were the perfect combination to 'get me to give it a go', this blog. She shared my excitement when I got my first one hundred 'hits'! You are going to be like Dani and Evita and Ginny to others who are going to wake up in the next wave after you.
  4. Practice Discernment on all Spiritual Food: you check the expiration dates on you food before you eat it, right? This is the same. There is Disinformation out there. A lot of it. So, when you are 'taking in' a Spiritual Food, sniff it, look at it, touch it with your Heart Center just to make sure it's    'Edible' and 'Safe for Taking in'. If it feels good, do it. If it gives you 'indigestion', don't take it again. Remember there are no mistakes, just learning. And you will get the hang of it. Nobody ever learned to walk without taking a spill. It's just the way it is, and you will do fine at it. And like the milk in the fridge, a Spiritual Food can go 'bad' in a sense. Part of it is because you outgrow it and need a richer source. You 'graduate'. Part of it is because most channels have their 'ego'-flavor into the 'food'. Sometimes that 'ego' makes it 'change' and you can tell that those 'light codes' are just not coming from that source for you any more. Just know something else will arrive that will be 'right' for you, and all is not 'lost'.
  5. Let Go: This is not weight loss or plastic surgery where you can expect 'results'. This is a process that is slower than waiting for an orthopedic surgery to heal, or an ICU patient to get better. Progress is imperceptible, like watching the grass grow or the paint dry. But that grass--you sure have to cut it! Every week in summer! As you listen to your inner guidance, you might be moved to change some activities or friends, possibly even your line of employment. Follow those 'nudges' and you will increase your Vibration ever so gently, that you will find yourself in position to be of service, Spiritually, to others who are in the next 'wave' after you. I grant you this recognition as a Star Seed and Lightworker now. One day you will pass this gift on to others.
Namaste,

Reiki Doc

P.S. You can't BUY this. Right now, there are some workers who support themselves through their Spiritual Work. The better ones might have a 'donate' button or a 'love offering' box with no set fee. Others will have a fee that is negotiable, or payment plans. Watch out for contracts, commitment of time , lots of advertisements on the website, and the feeling that they might like your credit card and wallet more than you. It is okay to ask for Higher Guidance when you have a question about something like this. I use my pendulum on it all the time. Along with Disinfo are the Hucksters. I have had two individuals suggest I use their 'whatever it is they sell' and 'tell others'. I say, with over thirty-five thousand hits, this blog HAS captured the attention on online ad marketing services. But Spirit at this time says, 'NO'. I know for me, my rule of thumb has been 'if it is from Spirit it is for free'. There is no 'money' in Spirit. Money is Man-Made! But there is Abundance in all of its forms. There is an 'energy exhange' at present. If a Lightworker does something for you, and that is their line of business, if the fee is comparable to the fee for similar work in your locale, and it feels 'right', proceed.  My spiritual 'energy exchange' is with Spirit for all my work I do. I take 'gratitude' in for 'payment', as I support myself with my work as an anesthesiologist.

The coyotes are howling up a storm outside. That is the mark of Kokopeli, the Trickster God. I take my hint, and will shut up! LOL

Feeder Rat--a story of a Rescue Rat

I fell asleep listening to an interview by Cobra last night on the internet. And I woke up with this story. Like Aesop, this tale has a powerful message to those that have ears that can hear and those that have eyes that can see.

This is Cecil, a Ball Python. My boy wanted 'his own pet' when he was in kindergarten. It was his Christmas Present. Ball Pythons are gentle with children, and a good starter pet. I was so much thankful for his preference for a pet that would eat once a week and require water daily over the rabbit he had been wanting that makes a lot of poop and has to be fed twice a day. My schedule is tight.

A big lesson for me has been that Cecil eats live prey. There are rats and mice that are raised for this purpose. I have written about my ambivalence to this in earlier posts. This story is about my overcoming my fear of rats in general, and being able to love instead.

Sometimes a Ball Python won't eat. The first time it happened, it was to a hooded black and white rat pup that gained the name, 'Lucky'. My son was deathly afraid of rats, we have had them in the garage in the past, and we have caught them. So Lucky went to live with my mother, who gave him a good life. Lucky passed in his sleep last month, having lived a good life away from death by snake.

Last year, I opened my heart to Three Blind Mice (see more posts). Recently, I bought two small rats to feed the snake. As a snake gets bigger, it moves up from multiple mice to rats for better nutrition. Unfortunately, with these two I learned that Cecil prefers multiple mice over rats.

The white one was friendly to me, and I loved it. He wheezed and I knew he had the common respiratory illness that almost every rat raised in captivity gets. It is fatal. But while he lived, he came to me when I called, and took food from my hand. He seemed genuinely delighted to see me.

That's why I fed the other to Cecil. Or shall I say, tried? The dark hooded one, I took by the tail, and put in the box with the snake. This rat was smart, and it horrified it to see the snake. It knew. After five minutes, I would reassure it today was not the day and put it back in the holding cage with the light one. It would cower in the corner, glaring at me, while the light one would scamper up and take food from my hand. I offered it to the dark one first, but angry and upset, it did not trust me.

This went on for quite some time. I offered the dark one to the snake each week FOUR TIMES. And each time it was the same. Then I bought some mice, and the snake seemed to be starving, it ate them up so quick (please know I pray for feeder mice and rats, and give Reiki. They go unconscious in ten seconds and never know what hit them.). I told the dark one it would not be eaten. Grudgingly, it lived in the cage, and enjoyed the company of the light one.

One day, the light one started breathing heavily. In rats there is not much time. Soon it was walking to the right, in circles, and the dark one was holding it up to support its weight. I talked with them, and gave Reiki, to both, the Transition Symbol to the light one. It passed the next day.

You should have seen the look on the dark one's face in the morning. It knew. When I reached into the cage to take the body of the light one, it had fear. I made a special coffin out of a paper food container, wrapped the light one in leaves and flowers, and showed the dark one. It understood. I buried the white one in the garden, under a stepping stone.

When my mom brought Lucky to the pet store to buy a new cage, he gave a nasty bite to the worker who tried to pick him up. I wasn't even going to try with this one. Even though we were afraid of each other, I made the commitment to treat it with respect and lovingkindness. I added him to the cage that had been Three Blind Mice's. It was a proper rat cage, not a big plastic bin with a lid with holes in the top. He could see out.

I gave him a name. Dad. My father was born in the Year of the Rat. So I started talking to it with love and calling it by name. I learned he liked carrots and cookies. And I often cleaned his cage. But he seemed lonely.

The last time I bought mice, in a different cage there was a hooded rat pup next to the pinkies on the wet nurse rats. He looked at me. Something told me to buy it. Of course, not understanding fully, I put it with Cecil, and Cecil did not eat. You are not supposed to name food, but this one I gave the name, Uncle. For my father and uncle were best of friends. Dad took to Uncle immediately.

Being younger, I was able to handle Uncle during cleaning. Sometimes taking him out of the cage directly. And as always, I lavished attention on both rats, rubbing the head and cheeks where they like being touched best.

Guess what? Dad lets me hold him. He likes it as much as I do. And Uncle likes to squirm and explore. I have my hands full with those two! My cockatoo is in the room, and likes to run circles in the cage--wall, floor, wall, ceiling, wall. Guess who copies? Both rats. Loop the loop after loop the loop! And Cecil will be fed exclusively mice for the future. My son now thinks that both rats, Dad and Uncle,  are cute.

The lesson is that we have some powerful Rats here on Gaia. They have suppressed us, tried to get every drop of our blood, sweat, and tears from us, and plotted our demise. They have names, I will not write them. But if you listen to Cobra Interviews we both know who they are. The tool that I have used with Dad the rat is Love. Kindness and Respect. Gentleness. These Rats on Earth are horrible for what they have done to us. Yet they are still from God and soulless they may seem the sources say they have a soul like all of us. No matter what their armor, they are defenseless against Love. Even the most horrible cruel person will drop their guard at when a baby smiles for them.

David Wilcock said, in July 2011, a Lie isn't a Lie when there is no lack of Information. When everyone knows the Truth, the only response to someone trying to Lie to you is to laugh.

We know the Truth. I am going to meditate today at noon as Cobra requests. For love of the Rats on Gaia. To open their hearts and make a peaceful transition into the Gold Ages. If love can take a feeder rat with attitude and make it a nice pet, what can the united Love of all of us do for these souls who are against everything that is of Heaven?
